The service was just great. The audiologist was extremely helpful and I will be returning here again.

New hearing aid owner as of Fall 2024. Having worked with this store and staff for about 7 months from start to finish, I can say that each of the three staff members are a good team and seem to genuinely care about each of their patients and work hard to take care of them, whether it is a routine visit or a problem. Fabiola Carrillo runs a pretty efficient ship when it comes to scheduling, follow-up visits and reminder calls to help avoid missed appts or accomodating changes in schedule. She is also very helpful in the office and saves wait time by assisting with other tasks to get me on my way quickly. My primary specialist is Jacoby Tanner and he does a great job working out all the testing, configuration and calibration tweaking. They worked with my insurance and were able to get me a very high quality device. The office is clean, easy to locate and park at. As an ongoing hearing aid user, I look forward to years of service with this team. read more

This review is long overdue, but sometimes "life" gets in the way of the important tasks one must do to "call out" the companies, products & individuals that make our lives better, this is the case with the Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid Center, Hurst, TX. IM A 71 y/o male with a hearing disability that I have been "living with" for a good 20+ years. It wasn't listening to loud music in my "teens & twenty's", it was "service related" from working around jet aircraft in the Marines (F4-B), I had the obligatory physical upon discharge, and with the excitement of getting out, I can't recall if they mentioned it at the time. Nonetheless, the testing at MEHAC, performed by the manager, Sarah Bussell, clearly shows that the certain frequencies that I can't hear undoubtedly came from my time in service, with the daily high pitched sound & noise from the jet engines causing issues with my hearing. OK, we have identified the problem, how can we fix it? Sarah showed be two designs, OTE & IE (over the ear & in ear) I of course am vain, and I did not want to have some big chunk of plastic hanging on my ear, besides I'm fairly active still and I can't afford to have these flying off. I did try them on in the office and was very impressed with the feel, look & styling - but most important was the sound quality. On your 1st visit to ME, they request that you you bring, your wire, GF / BF, Partner or someone that has a voice you can recognize, this is all done for an actual test. I still had the OTE's on, then Sarah & my wife went outside of the office into the hall and left the door open about 4 inches. My wife & I were told by Sarah that this was going to happen, Sarah was just going to ask my wife how long we have been married (34 years) and where did we meet. I need to tell you that my wife speaks very softly, and for years I've said "huh?, what did you say", and she would have to repeat herself, which at times can get us both upset - this is not good. Alright, the two went just outside the office, left the door open & the conversation began. To my amazement, I heard everything! Sarah did say that my wife does speak in a low volume (I'm just the opposite - must have been the jets), anyway I was impressed with the OTE thought to myself "ok, here comes the sales pitch", I was wrong, Sarah told me to take these home on demo & try them out around the house, shopping, doing everything you normally do - just don't wear them swimming & in the shower - makes sense! Now at the same time that I'm out looking for hearing aids, our youngest son & daughter in-law were expecting our first grandchild to make her appearance. My demo was for a week & the day I was to go back to ME, little Brooke decided to arrive. We as grandparents (1st timers) we were called I;to duty taking care of their other child, a 35lb labradoodle, so I was unable to bring the OTE's back in, called Sarah and she said take another week, whatever you need, when you have time, come back in & we'll make sure that these are the right aids for you. Well, that was nearly 7 weeks ago that the process started, I went back in after the Brooke came home as did Griffey the furbaby. I've been to the office in Hurst 4 times, not that anything was wrong with the OTE's, but rather for "checkups" to make sure the OTE'e were working right. These devices are very "state of the art" and can be tuned to actually reduce certain frequencies. For instance when Sarah asked how I liked them I just gushed about them, she asked well there must be something you don't like, well I thought and said "we have a new refrigerator and before the OTE's I couldn't hear the ice maker & now I can and it's a little annoying (it's not the fridge because it's just 7 months old) and Sarah said "I can fix that" and she did. One of the reasons I like the OTE model is that is has more software and can be tuned by ME (just like a technician working on a jet engine). It wasn't until the end of the second appt that Sarah had me sign the contract and gave me until the end of the month to pay (I had to move some funds from one account to another) she set an appt out for 2 weeks to check on them - when I came back, she took the OTE's, made sure they were good & I paid my bill. As I mentioned above it's been 7+ weeks and the service both "before & after" the sale has been fantastic. Now a big part of that is because of Sarah Bussell who has been a licensed Audiologist for years (in fact that runs in the family) and Fabiola, Sarah's secretary & right arm thank you both! Now, before sending this review off, I reread, corrected mistakes and it reads like a small love story and I guess it is. I love my hearing now! I love MEHAC, Sarah & Fabiola thank you so much!!!! read more

These people really care about their patients. I can hear my grandchildren for the first time in years, and that is the most beautiful sound that I have ever heard. It is all thanks to the wonderful people at Miracle-Ear. read more
