They always help make sure my hearing aids are well tuned and all components working properly. A couple of weeks ago I noticed my left hearing aid wasn't working properly Charmain had me bring in my aid right away no appointment needed, I got bad news that the unit had to go back to Oticon for repair Charmain made sure to expedite the unit via UPS I was kept informed of the status and was called a week later that it was ready. Then my husband went to SoundWorks on Randol Mill Rd and really liked it, so I decided to try it. SO glad I did. Joe Morales is awesome - professional, personable and knows his stuff. For the last month I have been wearing Oticon aids and really love them. I look forward to putting them on in the morning so I can hear and then I pretty much forget I have them on until time for bed. Joe has adjusted the aids so that I can hear what I want and need to hear but am not deafened by extraneous noises. And you would not know I'm wearing them unless you looked very closely. Hearing better has been a life changer for me.

I waited for an hour in the waiting room before being called back. I suppose this is ok, I would rather wait there for an hour than in a smaller room. Once called, the PA was very efficient. Doctor was very nice and professional. My visit required a CT scan, which they offer on-site. PA informed me that they were waiting for insurance approval. This took longer than normal. I chalked it up to just dealing with insurance. After about 30 minutes waiting, I told them I would cover whatever the cost was just to move things along. Once I signed the paper saying I'd pay the full price. Things moved along nicely once again. Doctor explained process and then results immediately. Discussed treatment options thoroughly and gave me scripts. He asked that I return in a few weeks, once meds had a chance to work to re-evaluate results and next steps. I approached the checkout counter and requested a copy of lab work order. The scheduling person said, "I don't do that. That's not my job." When the PA came to deliver my lab work orders, after she heard me request them, the office person gave her attitude as well. She then asked me what I needed. She confirmed I'd already paid, and said, "do you need anything else?" I thought about scheduling the next appointment but I felt like Pooh and decided I'd call to schedule instead of having to interact with this person any longer. Doctors are awesome. Office staff if seriously rude and unprofessional. I have since seen a different ENT and found the entire office staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. I won't be going back despite my happiness with the medical staff.

In…read moreDecember 2024 I had met my deductible and OOP, so my insurance paid 100% of the billed allowable for my hearing aids. My insurance EOB said I owed zero. Audiology Hearing Aid Center tried to collect the difference in the amount they billed and what the insurance paid. It's called balance billing the patient and not legal Fast forward to today. I lost one of my hearing aids so I pulled out my paperwork from Audiology Hearing Aid Center to see what the replacement warranty is. Per the written document from them, the warranty is 3 years for damage or loss and the deductible is $500. I spoke to another provider today and found out the actual deductible with Signia for loss of a hearing aid is $400; not $500 and the warranty is 4 years, not 3. If you have insurance, only agree to pay what your insurance says you owe.
