    The owner was able to fit me in within a few days. He installed an under the seat amp / speaker combo and it works great. No crazy mark-ups, knowledgable, and fast. I went to a place in San Marcos that tried to charge me $200.00 more than the original estimate when I arrived, and they couldnt clearly explain the reason for the high dollar pricing. Audio Mobile on the other hand, gave pricing that made sense, they made a good buck without trying to rip me off and will have my future business. I trust Audio Mobile. Side note: Owner wore a mask the whole time I was present for those that are concerned. Also, there is no waiting room but there is a coffee shop about two blocks away.

    I came in with a 2017 Chevy Malibu, and I already gave 2 10's Subwoofers in storage from when I had my first car here in Austin since 2015 from Custom Sounds. After 7 years in storage, I decided to get them out and finally have them installed again. I compared prices with Audio Mobile and Custom Sounds, and I saved about $400 going with Audio Mobile. I only had to pay for install, labor, the wiring, etc and Victor does all his work in-house and had my car ready With in 4 hours from drop off at 8 am. Support Local Businesses, they have the best deals and they are Great People in at Community! Great Job Victor- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

    Two things to know: (1) the website contact form (how you get a quote) looks like it doesn't work, but it does. (2) Victor will get back to you with a prompt and accurate quote. He rolls labor into installed prices for equipment, so his prices may not seem the most competitive. But you do get what you pay for. Victor's work was clean, professional, and prompt. He was very communicative, provided informative answers to my questions, and could not have been more helpful. After some initial back and forth via email on Monday, Victor slotted me into his schedule for Friday. He managed to move that up to Tuesday (after first reaching out on Sunday) and I dropped off my truck at 8am. By early afternoon, he'd installed a double DIN head unit (where a 1.5 existed before), made it look better than the factory unit, installed a wired backup camera, and replaced all my speakers. He even replaced a blown fuse for a 12V power plug and helped me track down the manual for an aftermarket alarm installed before I bought the truck, so I could make modifications to the config. I knew what to expect. Victor did solid work. He went above and beyond. And I would come back to him for more work in the future. If you appreciate quality work, communication, and no surprises--Audio Mobile might be for you!

    I highly recommend going to Victor at Audio Mobile. He was extremely helpful and also very quick when installing my new head unit and backup camera. Everything works very well and the camera has a very clear picture. I'm glad I finally have Apple CarPlay and a back up camera. It's very convenient.

    Victor is great. Very easy to work with, knowledgeable of all sorts of vehicles and technology and his price was fair. He installed an Alpine 11" drop down screen that wasn't easy given the ceiling line and sunroom stuff- it all works great and the kids have a movie option now for road trips. Parking is ample and his shop is pretty organized- would def go to again for any mobile AV needs.

    I went in and purchased a set of 6ft RCA audio cables for my truck. They ended up being too short so I never used them. I went back to return them a few days later and the same older guy with glasses who had sold them to me told me they do not take open box returns. He never explained that policy to me when I purchased the cables. He then said that it states that on the recipe but no where on the recipe says anything about that. I tried showing him the emailed recipe and at this point he starts to get rude. Then he continued saying that it would of been on the printed recipe. I felt like he was not transparent from the beginning and I highly recommend avoiding doing business with this shop.

    Sacrificing storage capacity for sound is a good example of sound judgment.

    I walked into Audio Mobile and said to the man behind the counter in response to his salutations, "I'd like to replace my cassette system with something obnoxiously loud." Almost immediately, Victor began simultaneously selecting components from both his shelves and from his brain, and sketching out a rough order of magnitude on the closest blank slate he could find - the back of one of his business's cards. We set a date three days hence, and when I arrived on the appointed morning, Victor was ready to go. Around lunchtime later that day, I got a call from Victor. "One of the primary components is defective," he said. "I've ordered another one, but I'm afraid the earliest your car will be done is Monday." "No problem," I replied. "It is more important to me that the job is done well than done quickly." The next day, a Saturday, Victor calls me again. "Your car is ready if you want to pick it up today." I ask how this is possible and Victor explains he found the component he needed locally, so bought the part and finished the job. No joke - when I went to pick up the car I saw the defective component sitting there and ready for return to the manufacturer. I don't know if this story is typical, but I was a little taken aback at this level of service and commitment. I didn't push the guy at all. Victor cares about getting quality work completed in a very timely fashion. I could not wish for anything more than that. Also, despite it being a Saturday, I had a few small issues which Victor fixed in just a few hours. The sound system looks, feels and sounds great. As my neighbor's son said, the sound system makes that old car feel new again (he came outside to investigate when I was cranking the volume up and his house's windows starting rattling a little in their panes). Also, I've been getting some other work done, and when I mentioned audio, the other auto technicians asked where I was getting the work done. When I told them Audio Mobile, they all said that Victor was the best and that I would be very happy with his work. They were right. I am.

    Victor did a terrific job installing an Alpine ILX-007 CarPlay-compatbile head unit in my 2007 F150 Lariat truck. Works great, looks great!

Nick initially refused, mentioning customers are never satisfied with them and neither are they. I paid for them to put it in after the warning, and I saw what they meant. It didn't work with steering wheel controls, sounded awful, etc. I hated it on day one of install and scheduled my next visit that day. ---------------- STINGER HEAD UNITS ---------------- TCAS only sells and installs what they put in their own vehicles, and I understand why. This Stinger head unit has my 2016 4Runner feeling more like a 2026. Everything works and integrates well, and the sound quality is incredible. ---------------- COST ---------------- $100/hr. Don't let this scare you. Whenever I stopped in for surprise visits over the days they had my 4Runner, there were almost always two or all three working on it at the same time. ---------------- WORK ETHIC ---------------- Find a chair in their shop. I triple dog dare you. When these guys are on the task, they're working and working hard. ---------------- WORK WARRANTY ---------------- Unfortunately for me, the dash cam rear view mirror main unit and one camera were faulty. The manufacturer sent me a replacement and TCAS worked 5 hours at no cost to me on a Saturday to get me fixed up.

Everything looks factory-installed -- zero visible wiring, clean bezel fit, OEM stealth look. You would never guess this is aftermarket. They used a Maestro iDatalink harness to preserve all factory wiring so nothing was cut. 500+ Kenwood installs and it shows. The attention to detail on cable routing and trim reassembly is excellent. They also stand behind their work -- told me to come back anytime if anything needs adjustment or fixing. That kind of warranty and after-install support is rare in this industry. Her Subaru dealer wanted a fortune to just replace it with the OEM unit with its 8-year-old technology that even when new was behind the technology curve compared to other carmakers (a lingering issue for Subaru). I reached out to a couple well-reviewed shops but was so impressed by Sohail at Pro Car Audio. He runs the place and knows his stuff up and down. I called him 5 minutes before closing one evening and he spent the next half hour walking me through the pros and cons of mid-priced options for that vehicle. In that conversation he explained the unique considerations for that model of Subaru and why a Kenwood model would be far superior to the Sony unit I'd been looking at somewhere else. We struck a deal, booked the install, and it all went down yesterday. It was a great experience. Sohail and his team installed the unit in precisely four hours--exactly what he estimated. The unit and its trim kit are seamlessly integrated into the vehicle and have none of that "aftermarket" look you used to see in non-factory stereos. And the team at Pro Car Audio integrated the steering wheel controls with the unit so you almost never have to touch the screen on the new unit. What's more, the unit now displays car status info that her original head unit never did, including tire pressure and battery charge level. When my wife and I get fed up with the head unit in our own Subaru, we'll call Sohail again. I know just the unit to have them install. (PRO TIP: If like me you decide to wait for your car vs doing a drop-off, check out two phenomenal spots a half-mile's walk from the shop. The first is Marimbas Guatemalan Bakery (great baked goods and coffee and wonderful people). I stopped there for coffee and a treat. Then when it was time for lunch, I walked down four doors to Peace Bakery and Deli, a Mediterranean spot that serves a badass veggie schwarma and crazy-good tabouli. And don't even get me started on its many, many baklava varieties. Both places are located in the same strip center at Braker and N. Lamar. It's like a 10-minute walk at most from Pro Car Audio. I posted up at these places to get some work done but I mostly just ate.)

    Well, on January 6th I was FINALLY graced with the presence of his "highness" to install an amp and…read more2-10" subs in my Raptor. He gave me the sane speech he gives everyone about "doing this for 40 years" but that's where the story begins. I paid almost 3 Grand for the aforementioned setup, seemed pricey but I figured I'd give a "Ma & Paw" a chance at my money as I used to turn wrenches for a Ma & Paw that's highly respected. After installation I was back in 3 weeks because everything turned off, Jeff replaced the fuse abs 2 weeks later I was back agin and the fuse had burned through my fuse box. He said he didn't understand, ordered a fuse box "out of good faith" and this time I was back less than one week later. He has a mouth that makes you wanna test his dental plan but I played stupid to see how much further he'd B.S. me, so since I used to install music in my cars back in the day I decided to check the EQ settings on the amp which he claims they did(which they didn't) and then said he didn't understand and would order some aught wire (which he made me pay for) because he couldn't figure it out. Remember, he's been doing this for 40 years!! My music was barely above what it was on factory so I popped back by (because they don't answer the phone) to see how much more I could get out my setup. He went through his busy spiel, mind you I'd been taking off from work and taking Lyfts for these "comebacks" and he once again pops that loud mouth attitude and a says they'll have to remove the seats, (thinks my Raptor is a Dodge) blah blah blah the installs said aught wire and...almost no bass! These idiots were seriously tuning from the deck and trying to say THAT was the problem, Mr.40 Years Doing This said that. I zeroed everything out on the amp, (something they didn't do) zeroed out the bass, then begin systematically tweaking the level and gain with my scope until now my 10's are damn near hitting like 12's! These idiots will install your stuff out the box and tweak the settings from your deck instead of the amp do you keep coming back. I give a 10/10 for the installation and a less than zero for their tuning and customer service. Jeff, you owe me a 25% refund for the days I took off and my Lyft rides but charged me for the aught wire and 5 comebacks. Make it make sense. 5 comebacks and I ended up tuning my own amp when Mr. 40 years was tweaking setting on the head unit. Good luck, he's only catering to the 20 grand installs.

    Here's a very authentic review for Tint World off Burnet. Mind you, I dealt directly with the owner…read moreNadeem. I had previously went to another store to see if the work I wanted done on my Tundra was possible. After finding out a few unrelated stores couldn't do the work I came across Tint World. I went through the same process of coming by with my truck and explaining what I wanted done to make sure it was possible. I met Nadeem and told him I wanted star lights and ambient lighting throughout. He looked at my truck and assured me it could be done and that it would take "two days." He quoted me $2200 and I agreed that was a fare price and I'd come back after the weekend to leave him the vehicle. I dropped my truck off on Monday morning. I reached out towards the end of the business day for an update and had no response. The following day Tuesday Nadeem told me it may take an extra day and that they were working through some issues. I told him that was fine and to just keep me informed. At the end of Tuesday Nadeem had messaged me and apologized that he didn't realize the material on the moon roof which is about 80% of the headliner space with these panoramic moon roofs wasn't possible to achieve the starlight feature. He said he added them on the perimeter. This was done before asking for approval after he knew what I wanted at the beginning. He told me to rush over that evening because the truck was now complete. I hurried over from Round Rock only to find a numerous amount of concerns. This was far from a "white glove experience." The headliner fabric had obvious tears that needed to be addressed, a number of stars not completely penetrated, the shooting star feature which he sold me on was non existent. He later admitted they installed it incorrectly for that to work. The lights were functional through Bluetooth but the music feature for the lights did not work. The ambient lighting wasn't symmetrical in the front of the vehicle and was cut short and uneven. It was also Bluetooth functioned. When the ambient lighting music feature was used it caused my music to cut in and out on the stereo. Nadeem explained after the fact that both the star light Bluetooth and ambient light Bluetooth would cause music cut out because it can't work simultaneously with musics Bluetooth. Wow. This would have been great to be updated on before installation. I cannot use these features I've now paid for simultaneously with my music. Multiple door pieces and the trim over the odometer were missing stock clips to keep them tight and connected. He had an employee who also works for Toyota "come up" with those pieces to later reattach my vehicle. I explained to Nadeem how this experience felt and he just blankly stared at me with little to no response. He accepted fault and offered me $100 dollars off. At checkout the price went from 2200 to 2500 because he forgot to mention taxes. I told him in the future when quoting a customer he should give them the "out of door" price because taxes on 2200 is game changing. He didn't have anything to say. As I was leaving he offered a window tint. I told him my windows were already tinted and he told me he could match the back windows with the front. I agreed. When I got home I noticed the ambient lighting on the doors doesn't automatically turn off with the car. They stay on in the front and turn off in the back. I called Nadeem and he told me the doors hold reserve power and that I would have to manually turn them off each time when I turn my car off. Nadeem had one of his employees call me to come back in after taking my car back to fix some of the issues. He wasn't there when I arrived to make sure things were fixed. My headliner lights and visor lights were no longer working after the new installation of ambient lights. My music still skipped and wouldn't play from the starlight app, and Nadeem wouldn't respond to my messages. His employee kept saying Nadeem is the only one. He clearly ran away from providing any type of customer care. I was shown text messages that nothing further would be fixed and that I'm no longer welcome for service. Nadeem cuts corners and doesn't take responsibility for his mistakes. I have the texts to prove it. I warn anybody who has any plans to service their vehicle here. At this point with the price I paid I was completely frustrated. He told me he would give me my money back but to never step foot in his store. I felt like this response was completely unnecessary. I don't need my money back I just want the things I paid for to work and meet expectation. I don't usually write reviews but I felt this was necessary. I made the mistake of adding after market features to my tundra with less than 1000 miles. Shame on me. However, as a business it's upsetting to know owners don't go above and beyond to make things right.
