Hard to do business with a business that closes at 5pm M-F. REALLY! I have been driving by the place for years, which every time I ever looked it always looked closed. Now I remember why I haven't gone there for my last car, my wifes car and my daughters cars which all have custom Audio/Alarms installed. Doesn't make any sense. The people that are at work that have the money to purchase from Audio Lab, are closed the second the whole world gets off work. Doesn't make any sense to have a retail business that's never open when the consumer with cash in pocket is available. No wonder Car Toys does 75% of all installs in the area. Guess where I'm going? These guys were very knowledgable and taylored a stereo system to my budget. I just bought a new car and I wanted to complete it with a "loud" system. I went down the road to Bry's Furniture as they advertised "Alpine", which is my preferred brand. I walked in and couldn't find the car audio or any help. Finally, after waiting 10 minutes, I left to go to Audio Lab. Since I'm fairly new to "yelping", I want to express my great experience and be the first to give Audio Lab 5 stars for great service! This place really surprised me, I've been here before and had an alarm installed in my car and plan to have my other car done soon. But they are very upfront with pricing, knowledgeable and friendly. The main guy Joe is nice, he won't BS you and he'll tell you how it is. He may be a little blunt but it's nice knowing that I'm not being told something I don't need. I know if I go in with a problem or an idea of something I'll need I can explain it, very poorly I might add, and he'll know exactly what I meant. Show me what I'm explaining and let me know if I need it or don't. I appreciate that a lot. There's always deals there and the clearance table always has a nice little selection! had a jvc stereo installed which seemed like a nice install at first but when i drove my truck at night, flipped the lights on, and i noticed the stereo lights and dash lights dim. after driving my truck a few times the bluetooth connection cuts in and out and the speakers stop working from time to time. and when i asked about what the problem might be i got the salesman side of i dont wanna. "well if we do this we'll have to charge extra" "i did this for free since i was already there, so you know" not the worst service but im not going back there again. read more

Joe helped me out quickly and led me directly to a perfect fit for what i wanted to do. Very happy with the Digital Design Speaker system that was installed. Want warranty service on a unit you purchased from them but installed yourself forget it. They will just tell you that it was installed wrong and the head units never have problems. They would not even look at it or ask what this problem is. Buy online instead Update talked with kenwood and for the issue I was having was a know software issue I installed the new firmware problem solved. I guess the head units do have problems Update to Audio Lab comment I don't pay more to have anyone ship when I can handle that myself. I can better control my costs for not paying a marked up cost. I don't know if audio lab does that but most business do as they need to make money which I understand. I talked with Kenwood and I did not pay a thing to get it repaired. Didn't even have to ship it. Audio lab if you wanted my praises online then then provide better customer service. Besides offering to ship the unit as you were convinced it was an install issue without even looking at it( in your defense you probably do see a ton of install issues but a look would have rules that out). It is what happened at face value the facts not "slander" that's what is great about online it does not matter what me or you think it is the potential customer that reads this to make a decision. So you can adjust how you handle this kind of issue which helps future business and reviews, you can get in a pissing match online, You can do whatever you want as this is America. I assume it was you that I talked with so you know as what you typed and that you made no effort past offering to ship the unit which is more of an inconvenience to me as I can call kennwood and ship if needed. read more

I originally rated this place lower because of the initial instillation and quality. Since then I have taken the car back in and the owner went through and upgraded my stereo and speakers. He was also abriving my car while dealing with my phone. I look forward to bring them more business in the future.lentonfetermine why my car wouldn't start after the first instillation. I need to replace a sensor in my car, it is unrelated to audio lab. On top of all he did for me, which was a lot, the owner was extremely respectful and understanding. This was my first radio instillation and I did not know what to expect. Audio Lab went above and beyond to fix the initial problems and make sure that their client was happy. I love my stereo system and the hands free bonus. I feel much safer driving my car and dealing with my phone. I look forward to doing more business in the future. read more

A good friend of mine highly recommended audiolab to me after getting two system installs done by them. I want to say my experience with Joe (Owner) was great. I went in to setup an appointment during the covid quarantine and told him what I needed done (tweeter install). The tweeters I purchased would not fit in my car but joe was able to hook me up with some high quality Digital Designs tweeters for a good price so I jumped on it. My appointment was scheduled for the following week and during this time I reached out to joe and asked him if we could add a sound deadening job to my 4 doors and trunk. Joe quoted me a fair price and that was that. On the day of my install Joe kept good communication with me when some issues came up and none the less he was able to get them solved and didnt price gouge me in the process. I've dealt with several other audio shops in the past and either got shotty work done to my vehical or had to pay exorbitant prices for their work. Joe was honest and fair throughout the whole correspondence. I will definitly be coming back to AudioLab for all my car audio needs. read more

Went there this week to have my subs looked at cause they had quit working. They told me all kinds of stuff was wrong my amp was bad needed new wiring basically I needed to replace everything 850$ out the door so I went down the street to sound werks (should definatly give them a visit great service honest guys) and all I needed was corrosion knocked off my battery and a new wire from my battery to my fuse and he fixed it for free and immediately even tho there was a few cars infront of me. I had a very specific want for my system and these guys tried to help me get to where I wanted to be without spending money. Once we determined that I wanted more, I was given options of how to change my system. The end result I could not be happier with. This is a great place to get your car stereo. The employees here are very friendly and helpful. Joe and Todd really made things simple and easy. They have a nice showroom with many car audio options. They do custom work. If you need subwoofers, amps, or stereos this is the place to go. They can also install car stereo stuff for you in many cases. read more

Do not come here for any of your auto needs. Brian? Not sure what his name was, but he claims to me an MMA fighter and has the WORST customer service, and the rudest man I have ever met. I was actually quite shocked at how rude he was to me when I asked a simple question about my car which was to be seen there. His response to me "why don't you go as a sales guy". Bought amp months ago that was defective out of the box and no help to resolve or warranty. Bought another amp that was once again defective and no warranty. Me and my fiancée went in there to try to find some replacement headlights for my car there was an Asian man in there who was trying his best to help us out. Well me and my fiancée stepped outside to go look under the hood. Then when we step back in the business there was a white man at the counter he was standing there playing on his phone he didn't even bother to say hi or nothing very rude! Like you have customers in there trying to give you guys the business and you just gonna stand there and be so rude. We waited a little over five minutes for that Asian man to come back up to the counter and continue to talk with us. And then besides that BS day I decided to call them today because I had a quick question about my headlights because I still haven't gotten them fixed that would this different size headlight fit mine thought they might be similar that's why I called them to ask this man said I honestly have no idea you're going to need to call the part store or the manufacturer because I have no idea flat out that's what he said what kind of answer that!!! I will probably never be back to give this place no business and I'm gonna tell everybody I know not to go there you guys suck! read more
