I had taken the day off to install my new advanced Stinger Height10 stereo in my car. It looked "easy enough" on the installation video; but 2 hours in to the project I had to give up. What to do? Well work/respond when it comes to initial install but doesn't problem solve thereafter if any issues arise from their installation. Once they have your money you cant get them to come back. Installed a car starter that kept shutting off. We would start it, open door and car shut off when it should not have. Asked them to take a look at it. Zero response. Weren't interested in coming to solve a problem created by their installation..unless you are willing to shell out more money. Also had them install a in dash unit. I needed speakers installed in my doors, a subwoofer, an amp, and a line output converter. Steve and CJ quoted me less than other stereo installers AND they came to my work to do the install. I specifically chose Mobile Installations because they were able to do the job at my place of employment and I was very happy to have it done during my work day rather than drop off my car for a day. When I discovered a minor wiring issue the following morning, Steve quickly arranged to have CJ meet me at my house to troubleshoot it. Ultimately a wire came unplugged from the amp and CJ was able to figure it out quickly. It's been over a couple of months since the install and everything is working great. I can't say enough about the benefit of a mobile installer. For anyone that has a busy life schedule, this is the way to do it. read more

I just had these guys install a double din stereo and run my 0 gauge power wire from my engine bay to my trunk cause I was a little short on time and I actually asked him to install my amp, cap, and sub and fortunately he declined cause he didn't have time and thank God for that because I had to re-do everything these guys touched in my car. So not only was it a total waste of $250 but it also took longer cause I had to undo all of their work and just do the entire install myself like I should've done in the first place. First the actual wiring of the deck was done ok, I had no complaints about that except my car has 2 antenna wires but only 1 got hooked up. I couldn't figure out why the AM/FM wouldn't pick up any stations, because both antenna wires need hooked up and that wasn't done. Next the dash kit that was used was either just a really cheap crappy part or it wasn't carefully installed because there were broken clips and some black, tacky, sticky goo was smashed onto the trim piece to keep it from popping off but that didn't work. I ended up ordering a quality one from another company and it installed beautifully so the one they put in went in the garbage. Attention to detail and taking pride in your work was totally thrown out the window. There are two bolts that hold the dash kit in. I know they were both there when I removed the factory radio. One was dropped on the floor of my car and instead of looking for it, they just used some random, different bolt. The one they dropped was literally just under the seat, it prob took me 30 seconds to look for it and find it. I know this seems like a minor thing but to me that just showed how little they cared about the entire install. Also a bag with a dozen or more little screws came with the stereo I purchased and I found about a dozen all over my car and I'm very meticulous when it comes to keeping my car clean so I know for 100% certainty that they weren't there before these guys showed up. I mean who just drops screws all over the place and just leaves them? Which leads to my next problem. When I opened my trunk and saw the absolute mess that I was left with, I was actually quite shocked. Instead of taking the bags and garbage from all the work they did and putting it in a box and leaving the box in my car, they didn't clean up anything. What kind of professional leaves his customer with a huge mess that they created. It would've been one thing if my car was already a mess and I had made the mess but they made the mess and just left it. The next problem was the power wire. This couldn't have been done any worse by a blind person. First the fuse holder by the battery was just floating in the air, not screwed down to anything. I provided wire ferrels that I wanted used but they weren't used, instead the wire was just shoved in the hole and tightened down without a care cause there were wire strands sticking out that I know would've caused a short. The worst parts though were how the wire was routed into the car from under the hood. Instead of going through the firewall like everybody else does they actually went to the very outside edge of the firewall and then in through a vent thing that had a grommet but they just popped the grommet out and ran the wire along 2 or 3 extremely sharp edges that actually sliced into the very expensive OFC wire that I bought. It was so apparent that not a shit was given when that wire was run because anyone that's ever installed stereos know you use rubber grommets when you do things like that. It was a huge pain in the ass removing the wire the way it was routed so I didn't damage it anymore than it already was. But I got it removed and routed through the firewall the proper way and used a grommet and don't ever have to worry about it getting sliced like I did the way they had it ran. If all this wasn't bad enough the way the power wire was ran through my car was an absolute joke. They tried removing a few trim pieces, running the wire behind the trim and putting the trim back but it looked so horrible once they were done cause the wire made the trim pieces bulge out tremendously. Nothing lined up the way it did before and it looked absolutely atrocious. Again I had to remove the trim and wire, ran it the proper way which was to remove the passenger seat and run the wire under the carpet but that would've taken an extra 15 min so they did it in such a way that a blind person would've been able to see how shitty it looked. I know there were a few other things but I think you get the picture. I actually waited a couple of weeks so that I would cool off before I tried contacting this guy about the terrible job that was done and really I'm not even being picky, the things that were done incorrectly are things "professionals" should never do wrong. Of course no reply to my text or call. I consider what these guys did to be stealing from me. I wouldn't accept free work from this company read more

I highly recommend Steve. He showed up when he said he would and did a fantastic job installing an aftermarket backup camera on my wife's Mercedes. It looks like and operates like a factory installed camera using the original GPS screen. A clip broke in the tailgate during installation and Steve purchased a loom assembly from Mercedes and as soon as it was available, Steve and Ben came to my house and installed it at no extra charge. Steve is great. I am very picky when it come to working on my trucks and cars. I do most of my own work but when it come to electrical I am not doing it. Steve installed power door locks and an alarm in a 2006 Silverado for me . He did a great job, work was neet and clean. I had the truck for 2 years before we sold it last week.
