They had 1 paint can on the shelf, but no lid. The price marked on the shelf was $5.99. i picked up a cheap plastic lid hoping she would at least give me a discount or find me a lid so i did not have to buy one, that was supposed to come with the pail. Nope, the empty paint can rang up at 6.99 and she rang up the cover at 2.59 for a total of $9.58 for an empty paint can. I told her to keep it and i would go to Home Depot to get it. IHome Depot price was 6.99 and it came with a cover. I think Hamshaws need to empower their employees, the ability to work with the customer, if there is an issue, like i experienced. I am sure (maybe not)Hamshaws would rather have me leave as a happy customer and not a disgruntled one

I prefer to go to smaller stores than the big box superstores when I can to support local smaller business and to get things more quickly- this size has plenty to offer but it's faster than walking through a mega store to get a few screws or a new tool. 2) selection: hands down, this store has far more in stock than all other Aces and local smaller stores when it comes to power tools/ power tool option models from Dewalt, Makita, craftsman, black and decker and Bosch- among others. Decent selection of most things you could ever need for your projects and household stuff. Any time I've ordered online the order is there and ready. Recommended.

After I selected the pieces they offered to cut them to my measurements so the 16' pieces would fit better in my van. While doing that they also offered to square up the rough ends with their saw. And they gave me a quantity discount. The employees are wonderfully helpful. A couple of years ago the manager recommended a contractor to me and the recommendation worked out great.

We actually had no idea what it was but decided to check it out and I'm glad we did. Awesome selection of items. At first glance, it looks very similar to a Home Depot until you discover the food rows. Oh wow, brands that were new to me and looked interesting. I admit we went a little crazy and bought things like a candy bar from Iowa, chocolate hazelnut soda and pretzel crumbs for meats. Yes, we went a bit overboard but hey, who knows when we'd return? They had a nice clothing department too and picked up a great shirt for a very nice price. Even the cashier was awesome. She knew Swedish and thought that's where we were from and spoke to us. So friendly! I want to go bad. Like make another unnecessary trip to the area just to go back. I feel like this Saturday sounds good... jealous of the people in the area who have this super cool store all the time!
