Very unique ice cream located in the design district of miami. The shop is a bit hidden behind the Main Street, but there are plenty of signs showing where to go. The coconut tequila ice cream was very good, it had a strong taste of tequila, but wasn't overpowering. The passionfruit was very refreshing, especially on a warm day. The taste of tequila wasn't as strong with that flavor. You have the option to be served inside or enjoy your treat outside where they have chairs and tables. Service is pretty quick and straightforward.
I had this two where delicious the bartender was super nice. I wish I lived around designe district to just take one home thank you so much for this wonderful experience

I was delighted to hear that Aubi & Ramsa had a location in the Design District! The first time I had ever tried it was at the Hard Rock hotel and casino. First things first, the ice cream is simply delicious. It's boozy and sweet and the combos they offer truly give that cocktail in an ice cream vibe that it seeks to give. I gave this location a 3 because the service was nothing to gush about. Considering the location, the novelty, and what a great date night desert spot this is, I would have loved to have been taken care of by someone with more passion for the brand. With that said, lots of potential for the ambiance, too. Not sure if the staff gets to choose the music but that night it was full on EDM experience. Don't get me wrong, I love all things house--but while I ate my Choco-Martini, something jazzier would have been nice. All in all, I would not skip trying Aubi & Ramsa because the product is a must-try, however, I might opt to visit other locations to see if the ambiance and service matches the quality of the product.
I've been to both this location and their location inside Hard Rock Casino, and its fun to try the different flavors of alcohol-infused ice cream. The ambience is very nice and gives bar vibes, especially at night. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quick! I tried The Lucky Brownie (Irish Cream) and the Choco Hazelnut (Gin). Both has a hint of alcohol while taking a bite but not too much, which can be pretty dangerous since I would love to eat several servings of these. It's priced about $10 for a single serving, which is more expensive than your average ice cream, but the flavors are rich and unique that I would come back occasionally as a "treat myself" option.
An ice cream cocktail bar?! YES PLEASE! Discovered this gem in a little hidden corner of the Miami Design District. I see that they actually have a couple other locations throughout Miami, and it's such a cool concept. All the ice cream & sorbets have alcohol in them, so you must be 21+ to enjoy these treats. The space is designed like an actual fancy cocktail bar and the menu is organized based on type of liquor that's infused in the ice cream (gin, tequila, bourbon, champagne, etc). There are so many yummy flavors and fun concoctions to choose from. P.S. Most of their sorbets are vegan-friendly. First I tried the Strawberry Rosé made with Veuve Clicquot rosé & St. Germain. It was so good & refreshing! My next visit, I went for the Passion Fruit Margarita made with Casamigos Blanco tequila -- also amazing! I like that they don't use cheap liquors and you can actually taste it in the ice cream but it's not overpowering. They've mastered that balance. Also, their branding & packaging is absolutely stunning. You can order by the single serving (about $9) or by the pint. They both come in luxurious cylindrical containers with gold metal tops. They pop it open for you to enjoy there or you can take them home. These would make such great gifts and they also ship!
Was in the area for lunch and decided to drop by for dessert. Asked what the favorites were: included the passion fruit margarita, lucky brownie (with irish cream), and the highland truffle. Ended up getting the lucky brownie. The irish cream was definitely there and I liked that it wasn't to the point that it was too much. Loved all the bits of brownie mixed in. The ice cream texture is definitely more solid--makes sense that the spoon is the type that helps cut through. Makes you work a little bit harder to eat but at least it doesn't seem to melt as fast. Just keep in mind that a small is $9. I had to remind myself that the price is probably also due to the liquor. Seating is available inside where it's dimly lit modern decor. Parking available at the parking garage at the miami design district. Pretty pricey for the amount of ice cream that you get. Agree with the other reviewers that being able to sample it would definitely help figure out preferred flavors. Not sure if I'd get again, but glad to have the experience!
I definitely think it was more of a hype. I went to the location in Design District. We ordered the Tangerine Mimosa and Highline Truffle. Both were ok. You can definitely taste the alcohol. I went more for the experience but I've definitely had better ice cream. I like how the bar was setup. The ice cream is relatively expensive for a small taste of alcohol. Anyway, I would recommend going for the experience only. Suggestion for improvement: taste testing/samples so people know what to expect prior to committing.
This is a MUST try alcohol infused ice cream!! We came here per recommendation and immediately impressed with the decor and ambience, as well as the great alcohol selections! The ice cream is rich and creamy and the alcohol is the perfect kick! The staff was insightful and friendly, as well as helpful!
Ordered an Old Fashioned and Highland Truffle ice creams and both were good. Old fashioned was vanilla based and Highland Truffle was for the chocolate lovers since it was choc based with choc chips. Highland truffle is the perfect balance of flavors. You can taste the alcohol but it's not overbearing. The chocolate flavor really compliments the Macallan. Will be back to try new flavors but recommend these both.
Pros: the ice cream was creamy and delicious, it was also very boozy, the menu had a good selection. Cons: pricey for a tiny bit of ice cream, but it's a touristy area and anything with booze always costs more.
Aubi & Ramsa is easily my new favorite boozy ice cream spot. The interior is chic, much like a trendy bar or lounge. The woman working gave me a rundown of her favorite flavors from each category, and I ended up going with the White Russian. The flavors blended well with the liquor, and no flavor overpowered one another. There's a variety of liquor types so there's something for everyone! I'll definitely be back to try the whiskey-based flavors.

Aubi & Ramsa, named for owners Matias Aubi and Rafael Ramirehas who spent eight years studying how to make ice cream with the liquor inside of it have your fix in the Jade Alley in the Miami Design District. They also have stores in south Florida and Tampa and in New York and Nevada. The cute shop is set up like a bar where they can make all your summer dessert dreams come true. They serve 20 flavors in a 3.7 ounce size for around $12 and pints sell for $20. Ice cream and sorbet are infused with beer, wine, and spirits. Creative flavors include Kentucky Crème Brûlée, a crème brûlée ice cream made with Maker's Mark and caramelized sugar sprinkles, The Coco Loco, a coconut cream ice cream made with Don Juo Blanco and coconut flakes, The White Russian, a coffee liqueur ice cream made with Belvedere Nola and English toffee bits, and Lucky Brownie, an Irish cream ice cream made with Carolans Irish Cream and bits of organic brownies. They offer seasonal flavors and they can custom make flavors for events and parties. After intently studying the menu I finally decided on a champagne and sorbet combination, Strawberries and Rosé, a strawberry sorbet made with Veuve Clicquot rosé and St. Germain. It was actually one of their vegan selections and it was so fruity and refreshing. I sat in one of the chairs set up in Jade Alley and had a little mini vacation while I enjoyed my treat. $11 is a bit expensive for what is basically the size of a push pop but it was made with quality ingredients and was absolutely delicious and this is the Design District after all, home of Fendi and Prada. I definitely would be interested in trying some of the ice cream flavors. Everything comes prepackaged so sadly no samples :( Oh and if you do know one of those parties that is serving this, please invite me!

This is the newest outpost for Abu & Ramsa. They are the boozy ice cream specialist that started in the Miami Design District mall. This particular outpost is a kiosk near one of the mall's entrances and Blue Bottle Coffee. Here, they have all the ice cream flavors you instantly crave when you see the name. This day they were even giving out samples of their tequila-based ice cream. If you are in the need for a shot of hooch and a fix of sweetness; you can find them both at Abu & Ramsa. read more

Boozy, bougie ice cream. Say that three times fast. 21+ only. Tucked away off the main road of the design district. Small, quaint shop that offers a variety of ice cream each with its own unique alcohol ranging from gin, whiskey, champagne, bourbon, pretty much any poison of your choice. I ordered the small Highland Truffle ($9). The macallan complemented the Belgian ice cream very well. You can definitely taste the alcohol without it being overpowering. I would totally come back to try other flavors but the prices are a bit steep for what you get. Great concept though! read more

We took the drive down from Hollywood to Miami to come by and try these ice creams, and we were not disappointed! I told my friend about these liquor infused ice creams and he drove me down to the store. We knew there was a stand in Aventura but we wanted the full "bar like" experience. The place is beautiful, so aesthetically pleasing. From the counter top to the ice cream packaging, everything was so beautifully put together. I was so impressed! Then I ordered the Highland Truffle, I had already been stalking the menu for a week and knew my choice right away. My friend got the Pina Colada. The flavor was amazing, so satisfying and surpassing my expectations. The perfect balance of decadent chocolate fudge ice cream with Macallan 12yr Scotch. It was a tastebud disco and the perfect beginning to a perfect night! Thanks for setting the mood to our evening, we will be back soon to "pregame" here again. read more
Aubi & Ramsa is a unique place and is worth trying at least once. This is the only ice cream shop of its kind that I've encountered. They make alcohol-based ice creams, with their core lineup made of whiskey and other liquor-infused desserts. There are 3 scotch ones (a Macallan, a Laphroaig, and a Dalmore), and 2 or 3 bourbon ones. Some work better than others. I tried a dark chocolate fudge one with nuts and a strong dose of Laphroaig's signature smoky flavor, which is unexpected but enjoyable. The Kentucky creme brulee, featuring Four Roses bourbon, is much subtler, almost unnoticeable. The prices are high -- $7 to $9 gets you a small cup that's about the size of a scoop of ice cream, and pints are $25 or so. They come in pre-scooped little tins, so they don't scoop it in front of you. I'm not sure why that is. Overall, the price strikes me as a bit high for what you get, but it's a beautiful small shop and a one of a kind twist on ice cream. read more

MERLOT ICE CREAM. If you haven't tried the white chocolate merlot ice cream at Aubi & Ramsa, you are depriving yourself. It is perfection. The extra sweetness from the white chocolate really mellows out the merlot without being overpowering. Just thinking about it is making me crave it! Good thing it comes in a relatively small portion because I would probably be in a nonstop calorie crisis otherwise... The concept of an adult ice cream bar is something I would expect somewhere like NYC, so I'm super stoked it's right here in Miami where I can show it off to my out-of-town friends. There are so many sophisticated flavors to choose from. I also tried my friend's Jack And Chocolate which was welcomingly strong. However, the Passion Fruit Margarita lacked gusto in both the tart and tequila departments. While it'll be hard to pass up the White Chocolate Merlot, I'm excited to taste more flavors in the future! read more
I heard about this place but never caught the name or exact location and was so so so excited when i stumbled upon it!! I had the White Russian and loved it! I just want to come back and try all the flavors! I have no experience with alcoholic ice cream but the entire experience convinced me? The ice cream comes in it's very well packaged and sealed "shot glass" style ice cream cup, nicely labeled with the alcohol content. It's truly so cute! Very well executed. Also, it's conveniently located next to an adorable little Mexican food truck that's delicious so alcoholic desert is just around the corner! Hope to see this little gem stick around ! read more

Dear Aubi & Ramsa, You make me melt. Caught somewhere between my favorite ice cream parlor and a cocktail haven, you manage to produce some of the most delectable and delightful combinations around. Your sleek interior makes me feel like I'm at a high end bar, or perhaps some version of an upscale apothecary. Better yet, you've got the prescription I need after a long day. With high caliber spirits and quality ingredients what's not love? While my absolute favorite is your Dark Chocolate Fudge, you've got quite a few other heavy hitters in your arsenal. Starting off with that fudge one though, it is a sinful chocolate fudge ice cream made with a wonderfully smoky Laphroig Select Single Malt peated Whiskey from Islay, and pieces of Macadamia that add a pleasant crunch. I have gotten other items which are also stellar but this is truly the one that makes my heart go pitter-patter. Another exceptional option is the Old Fashioned, which is made using Woodford Reserve Double Oaked and Cointreau to deliver a boozy but indulgent version of a classic cocktail. For those looking to impress "the Dude," go with The White Russian, which is a creamy blend of coffee liqueur, Grey Goose, and Kahlua. With such perfectly crafted decadence, it is enough to make even the staunchest advocate for on the rocks consider trading their shots for scoops. That being said, I do appreciate that you cater to all kinds of liquor lovers- from tequila to vodka to champagne and even to wine. The Strawberries and Rosé or the White Chocolate Chianti are brilliant combinations that help everyone find something suited to their palate. Thank you for bringing your magnificent adults-only ice cream to the Design District. I have been waiting to come to this for a while and I am truly happy with the overall experience. Choices: There is literally a taste for all types of buds. Those that like hard licor and those that enjoy a nice bubble. Tried two flavors: champagne with strawberry with Veuve Clicquot and a passion fruit margarita. Truly unique and delicious. Decor/ Ambiance: It is a small shop. Simple but organized and perfect for Instagram. Just get creative. Service: The guy that helped us was very friendly and charismatic. Value: It is a bit pricey but worth the price. Wow factor: Very unique and a nice option for those that want to see a tasteful and unique for of gelato/ ice cream. Overall: I will be back. Was having lunch at La Pollita (check out my review) my buddy told me about a alcohol ice cream parlor right down the alley from La Pollita. The ice cream parlor was very far away from your typical fun and kid friendly ice cream parlor. I felt respected and treated like a gentleman at this ice cream parlor. My friend and I both sat at the bar and went over the menu and different styles of ice cream they had to offer. They have two different sizes and a page filled with various of flavors based on the liquor. We quickly asked the ice cream bartender the most popular flavors sold and of course his favorites. We ordered four small personal ice creams and all four were amazing! This place is a must when you're in the design district. I will be coming more often and I plan to buy the bigger size to take home. You're not going to get drunk with the personal size, each have approx. 4.5% alcohol, so don't think you'll get literally chocolate wasted! -Growling Stomach Approves ! read more
Alcohol and ice cream combination. Simple idea but sophisticated and great execution by Aubi and Ramsa. I thought the menu had a great number of options based on different drinks. Decided on the Lucky Brownie (Irish cream ice cream and Irish cream with bits of brownie pieces) and shared it between 3 people. All of us agreed it was delicious! Just really well hand crafted ice cream with great flavor. Definitely can tell there's alcohol, but every bite is creamy and smooth. Very limited (maybe 6 seats) inside the shop, but few more tables and seats right outside. Inside is nice set up like a bar and just a relaxing vibe. The owners were really nice and friendly. $6-7 for their serving cup and about $20+ for their pints. Not the cheapest but I think the prices are just right for Miami Design District. I would come back to try other flavors. read more
I love this idea. I make boozy Italian ice at home all the time. They stole my idea. But instead of suing them I'll just enjoy their products. When I saw they were using my favorite rum, Zacapa, in their ice cream I was sold. I finally made it over there last week and it was better than I expected and more expensive than I expected. They also ran out of a few flavors I specifically went there to buy so I had to settle for other ones. Regardless, the Coco Loco was on point. Coconut ice cream with Don Julio Tequila. I have another flavor in the freezer that I haven't tried yet. I'll be back to try the Zacapa and the rest of them. read more

Alcohol Ice Cream is definitely something that caught my attention! So when I heard of Aubi & Ramsa I had to check it out! The atmosphere is very charming, set up like a bar and with options for each liquor if you usually like to stick to your favorite. I had the Passion Fruit Margarita and it was incredible. However, it is quite small as pictured and that small amount is $7. So do not expect a lot when ordering cause I was pretty let down in that sense. A pint to take home is $22. This is in a prime location like the Design District which you can walk around after and take pictures. I don't recommend going to the design district just for this because parking is a pain and not worth it. If you're already planning on going then you should definitely stop by! read more

I scream, You scream, We all scream for ice cream. If you a have a love for ice cream you will fall in love with these adult flavors. However gave this business three stars because they were suppose to open at noon and didn't open until 1pm. Had several potential customers waiting for someone to arrive. I had to call and verify that they would still be opening. I was also interested in catering an event with their delicious products an they only offered a 10% off for bulk purchasing and this event was for 150 people. Also keep in mind if you do a tasting that you will have to pay for each serving that you taste. read more
Aubi and Ramsa is everything ice cream needs to be. Do yourself a favor and visit. Trust me. Any expectation you may have about ice cream is going to be blown away. I never imagined boozy ice cream could (or would) be a thing. Well, A&R is here to show us that it is. The venue is beyond beautiful. Tastefully decorated following of a modern, luxurious bar, you sit down in the counter and are presented with the menu. Many choices to review and the winner were: tangerine mimosa and key lime martini -- made with high quality liquor (moet chandon, st George gin - respectively) and ingredients. I really wanted to try "highland truffle" made with Macallan 12, but they were out. I cant wait to come back and continue trying other flavors. Thank you for the outstanding experience!! Redefining the ice cream experience, making it boozy and boujee. Unlike most ice cream parlors where you see tubs of ice cream or jars of sprinkles, nuts, fudge... here I walked into what seemed more like a bar with no ice cream in sight. They have a pretty extensive menu of flavors, so I asked our server which were the most popular. She said that it really depends on what type of alcohol you like and that's when I knew- when they said they craft unique ice cream "made with the finest wine & spirits, organic ego and the perfect amount of entitlement," they meant it. Since I was already pretty full from dinner right before, I went for the Strawberries & Rosé Champagne Sorbet. My friend ordered the Espresso Martini Gin Ice Cream and to my surprise, our server handed us our sorbet/ice cream pre-packed in gold-capped cylinders. I've never seen ice cream presented this way before, but it was so fun! And I loved my sorbet- fresh strawberry flavor with just the right accent of rosé. According to the menu, the Strawberries & Rosé Champagne Sorbet is made with Veuve Cliquot Rosé and being that this place is tucked away in the Design District (and priced at $10 for a rather small serving), I suppose it fits the bill. Wow, what a cool concept! Like a cocktail bar but the cocktails are all little tubs of ice cream. We tried two between us (one was Bailey's based, the other was tequila based) and each was excellent. Each ice cream is about 5% alcohol, although the tequila flavour tasted significantly more alcoholic...unsure why. The presentation was perfect and the ambience just like a speakeasy. I'd love to come back - in the meantime, bring one to the Bay Area please! read more
Wow! This ice cream shop is Miami's newest gem. It's an exceptional +21 alcohol product found in the Jade Alley at Miami Design District. You read it right, tasty treats spiked with booze and delivered in variously delicious flavors. Bourbons, Kahlua, Vodka, Tequila; even a delightful Champagne-based flavor. White Russian, B-52, Mojito, etc., all in an optimal dessert presentation. The containers come in two sizes, 3.7 oz and one pint. All at 4.9% alcohol content. And, after years of design and testing, the ice cream isn't just tasty, it's creamy and smooth, not icy, and soft enough to spoon. I recommend trying several smaller sizes to enjoy a cross section of options. The shop is set up like your favorite small, neighborhood bar with a charming low lit European feel. Clean, classy and simply elegant. And, Aubi is a great host, (bartender, server?). It's a real hit! But remember, it's over 21, bring your ID! read more

Finally..an ice cream store for adults! Tucked away behind the Hermes building in the design district you'll find this great little ice cream shop hosting fresh ice cream mixed with your favorite liquors. They even have ice cream with Moet champagne! This ice cream is a bit expensive due to the high end liquor mixed in but it's certainly worth a try! read more

Every once in a while you discover an ice cream shop so good, you wish you could take the whole damn place home with you! Now I'm not much of a drinker, but if I had Aubi & Ramsa next to my house, I'd become a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Why, you ask? Because I'd be eating each and every one of their delicious, alcohol-infused ice creams on a daily basis. I had the pleasure of drinki..err...eating the "Highland Truffle," and boy was it good. My only concern as I walked out of the shop with my ice cream was getting stoped by the police and cited for "open container." read more

I wanted ice cream and a frozen treat with an adult twist was intriguing. I'm typically a tequila fan so I ordered the strawberry margarita and my wife had the White Russian. When you order the ice cream is prepackaged in a mini-barrel with the type of ice cream printed on the outside. The set up is like an upscale cocktail bar. The bartender was super patient and helpful in leading us to our choices. This aventura mall location is located on the lower level under the food hall/court in an elaborate kiosk type set up. Price points are typical of a cocktail, but these dessert don't pack the punch of an alcoholic beverage. They do however have the distinct flavor of the cocktail, including the alcohol. read more

This place is originated in Miami and is so adorable with an extensive menu of boozy ice creams. They have both dairy and non dairy choices and you get to pick from different liquors such as gin, champagnes, tequila, etc. it's a small bar that's hidden in the design district but it fits very well in the area. read more

If you have not visited this place, I suggest you make a trip right away. Just think of delicious cocktails in ice cream form, they are the best of both worlds. What's the parking situation like around this place?
There is a parking garage two blocks from here. There is limited street parking (pay by phone) but, with luck you can find some. There are 2-3 valet spots as well if you don't want to keep circling around. Hope this helps.
