I will not be going back. Normally I don't got to these places to get a mani/pedi because they almost NEVER seem to do a decent job. This was no different. I paid way to much for an awful job. I asked for a gel pedicure. Trying to enjoy myself I was sitting back in the chair relaxing while he "trimmed" my nails, and by the time I looked down it was too late. He cut them down all the way past the quick!! I was so upset. I even told him they were too short, and he said nothing. After getting home and looking more closely, they're not even filed. The edges are pointy and they aren't even straight across. Lesson learned, I'll stick to professional salons! read more

Very clean, friendly and affordable place to get my nails done. It's in a strip mall next to the grocery store so can be easily missed if you're not looking for it. No complaints - very basic and quality place to get your hands and feet pampered! read more

A few days ago, I ventured out of my normal nail salon and popped into this one due to them having a very small wait and it being on my way home. The employees were very kind and began working on a shellac manicure for my mother and I pretty quickly. We were also offered bottles of water, which is great in the middle of summer days! The manicure was done well with both of our cuticles looking pretty perfect. Things went a bit downhill when the painting of my nails began. The nail tech left blotchy patches on many different nails, went outside of my nail line and onto my skin with the color, and repeatedly had to take off the color and attempt to redo the paint on a few nails as well. To top it off, when lotion was applied at the end, they rubbed it all over my bracelet and watch instead of my hands (typically they request you to take them off or jump over them when moving from arm to hand). My nails were also left with a sticky film once completed. I was running out of time, which left me with the inability to have the process started over. They did offer to have me come back to correct some of the nails for free, which I appreciated. Having said this... would I go back? Probably so, as my mother's nails looked amazing! Mary did a HORRIBLE job on my full set acrylic nails! She rushed and as soon as another customer walked in she pushed me off to another nail tech to finish her sloppy job! I had to go to another nail salon to correct her mistakes the next day. I was shocked for I had been a regular customer throughout the years. Tony is by far the best nail technician there so if you want to go there, ask for Tony and no one else. I have chosen to take my business elsewhere. read more

My daughter has been a customer for about two years and has always liked the job they do on her nails. She was concerned when the salon changed ownership. It is not that easy to find a salon that does acrylic nails and even harder to find one that does them well. She tried Ambience a few times and never had a good experience. I have been a client of Attractive Nails and Spa since they opened. Before that I followed Tony (ok I stalked him if you want the truth) from several other nail salons. He is so good and gives the best massages. It's so great that I drive 30 miles each way to enjoy their services. There must be hundreds of salons between my house and their salon, but I choose a long trip just to get the very best. The salon is very clean, staff are knowledgeable and friendly. First time coming here. I feel bad leaving this review since everyone loves this place so much. When I first went in with my friend we were asked if we wanted to sit together and we said yes. She got her nails started while I waited. The man was very nice and he did an amazing job on her nails. The woman then told me to sit away from my friend. I have bad anxiety which I understand she didn't know. So reluctantly I sat where she wanted me. I tried to make friendly conversation which is hard for me and takes a lot of courage on my part. But she seemed to not be interested. She mightve even been a little annoyed. I just stopped with trying to make conversation but the awkward silence ate away at me whilst my friend chatted along very happily. All I could think is "well at least my nails will be cute." But unfortunately they weren't. I do know a thing or two about nail art and I happened to notice she was stroking the polish funny.. long even strokes are what she should have done but she was doing small back and forth motions as if my nail was a coloring book. Because of this my nails are filled with all kinds of dents and air bubbles. My friend paid for me to get the worst nail job of my life. I didn't want to complain either. So the whole way home I stared at the mess on my fingertips. I'm stuck with this for two weeks.. This experience has lead me to buy my own gel lamp and gel polish. I don't trust these places anymore. I'm used to the Australian salons I guess. I've never been disappointed while I was there.. it pains me to be so harsh but this truely was a bad experience for me. read more

I have been going to attractive Nails & Spa for 4 years now & I wouldn't go anywhere else. I request only Tony for my nails & pedicure. I am very happy with the cleanliness of the shop & the time he takes with me. Tony & his wife Mary are friendly lovely people & always try to accommodate everyone who walks in. I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn other consumers about my experience at Attractive Nails and Spa. Although the lady who did my eyelash extensions, pedicure, manicure, and eyebrow wax was friendly and efficient, she did an awful job on my eyelash extensions. They looked awful, and I was mortified at the 150.00 price tag. The manicure and pedicure were fairly standard, and I am pleased with my nails, however, I will not be using their services again. Here in Ohio, Im learning that you must pay upwards of 250.00 to get good eyelash extensions. This is insane! I had beautiful, perfect, top quality extensions for 80.00 in Draper, Ut. read more

Bad in every way. I have never had a more worse experience. It was both unsanitary and poor quality. The tech used her thumb nail to scrape the excess nail polish from around and underneath my nail. Not only could she not paint straight but used her own finger nail that I saw her scratching her head with. A more professional place would have used a sanitized tool, not a dirty finger nail. I had to get my thumbs and 3 fingers re-done by two different techs because of smudging and excess nail polish pooling around my nail. The other tech also used her thumb nail to clean off excess polish. They also made you pay & tip beforehand - which was awkward. Had I known that the quality and experience was going to be so bad I wouldn't have tipped 30%. It has been 18 hours and my nails are getting more and more messed up as the day rolls on. the staff is very friendly but i was very disappointed by the service i received. I had a pedicure about a week before my experience, the pedicure was just ok. the polish looked great but the rest of the pedicure was decent at best...feet weren't even smooth after. but my big issue was the fact i went there a week later to get shellac. normally i go somewhere else who does fantastic, but figured i would give them a shot because they cost less. now i can see why they cost less. it took the guy about 40 min to get my previous shellac off (normally takes about 10 at most at my usual spot) .. he also peeled alot of my shellac off which i have been told is horrible for your nails. so after that nightmare he starts finally to apply my french shellac. it turned out horrible. I was already late to where i needed to be bc of how long removing the shellac took, so didn't have time to sit and complain. the appearance of this french shellac was horrible.....shaky lines, you could see my regular nails (which used to be long until he ruined those too) it needed more than one coat...the clear coat on top was peeling back already bc he didnt apply it correctly. not even 24 hours later almost every one of my nails was chipped and 2 of them actually had PEELED off.. this has never happened and was one of the worst shellacs i have ever received. when i called to see if they would fix they hesitated and told me i had to make it in that day..which i couldn't do. asked for a credit but they wouldn't do it. poor service to say the least. will never be going back. read more
