They have a nice mix of new and vintage items. Every time I visit I see things I like. On my last visit I fell in love with an antique drop leaf table. As soon as I saw it, I knew exactly where I wanted to put it in my home. I went home without it. I pondered it, comparing the photos I took of it to my dining table. I always try to stop here when in Sebastopol, it's a fantastic resale shop for wall art, decor and furniture. Always attractively displayed and many unique items, antiques and name brands. The prices are quite good as well. Just across the street from the Barlow, if you shopping for anything household, definitely make this a regular stop. read more

Two women own this business. I spoke with one of them and she agreed to put some furniture on consignment in their showroom. At the time I talked with her she said they were very busy but could accept the furniture on April 25th, this was seven weeks from the time I spoke with her. I agreed and made an appointment with movers to take the furniture as I was unable to move it myself. On the day scheduled the movers arrived at my home. While they were loading the furniture I thought it would be nice to call Attico to give them an ETA. The other owner said I was not on the books to bring the furniture that day and therefore would not accept it. She said she would call her partner and call me right back. I never received a return call. The movers in loaded the furniture back into my garage. I had to pay them $300 for their service. Now I will have to pay to have it moved again once I find a place to take it. Total waste of time and money. read more

Wow on Saturday April 6 my daughter and I were out walking in Sebastopol and she wanted to see the shop I had bought her table from. We walked over to Attico and were surprised to find a Dresser that was perfect for her home in Pac Heights. We were told to leave our phone number and they would hold it while we went to the city to measure. We asked if we could come back to buy it on Monday (today) and were told we would have first right of refusal. That they would call me if someone else was interested. I went into purchase it today and they had sold it to someone else an hour after we left the shop. Three trips to SF later and no dresser. The owner could only say, " sorry I don't know what happened". This is not OK and I believe the other reviewer who this happened to. I guess I am lucky I did not purchase it on Saturday because they could have sold it and then told me no refund like they did her. This gives all of the merchants a bad name in Sebastopol. This store could be so great but they treat people like crap. To the owner don't bother to respond with lies you told me when it sold and we checked we did not even have time to get home and measure. read more

This shop sold me a piece of furniture, paid in full, and when I went to pick it up they had sold it to someone else and refused to refund me. The owner was belligerent and called me names when I demanded a refund. I had been in the store a few times before this and my experience dealing with the salespeople was mostly good, however the owner is not trustworthy. Stay away! read more

I have been buying and selling with Francesca and Viviana since they opened their doors for business years ago. I appreciate their "Italian eyes" for high quality, taste and style in everything there is to find regardless of the shoppers personal preferences. Besides, that I always look at Attico first, if I am in "need" of some sort of household items, I am also buying all my presents of any kind (Xmas, birth days,house warming and so on) at Attico, as my gift will be unique, plus it supports the live span of items versus the often low quality short lived products in regular retail stores. One of the best consignment shops I've been to. Cute well priced items with a unique flare to them. If ever in Sebastopol I would recommend that you go to this spot just to see what you can get to spice up your place. I ended up buying a French lace children's sundress that had corset lacing up the back. Simply one of a kind and when I saw it I knew I had found the perfect dress for my niece's first communion. Attico is my favorite shop for finding the most interesting and beautiful items that add finesse and charm to my home. Treasures ranging from furniture, paintings, jewelry, and fabulous accent pieces that are just the perfect touch. It can be a little dangerous, because every time I go I find something that I LOVE. The owners are extremely helpful, tasteful, savvy, and both women have a very experienced eye for high quality and visual appeal. Just walking through the store is always a treat--and I can pretty much guarantee you will find something that you need to bring home with you. The good news is that the prices are very fair... and there is such a range of items that everyone can leave as a satisfied customer.
