I have to say this is the best store to shop at in Sonoma County. I've lived here 60 years and I don't consider this a thrift store since the management change over a year ago it is improved and is a first class store with an incredible staff very friendly they make you feel special. I am a volunteer at Treasure House now, but before that I was a frequent shopper. The many and varied treasures available here - fine art, fine jewelry, furniture, designer purses, gorgeous rugs, housewares, hollow ware, flatware, etc - kept me coming back. This is one of my most favorite stores in Sonoma County! When my childhood home was lost in a devastating wild fire I knew that the Treasure House was where my family and I could go to find beautiful quality pieces to refurnish their new home and I was right! I came here with my mom to check out this vintage shop. Really nice selection of home decor and some interesting old pieces. Everything is clean and the shop is easy to navigate. I ended up buying something small for $5 and since I had cash they didn't charge me tax, which was cool. I also overheard another customer ask how long this store has been around and the shopkeeper told her it was started in the 1960s (I forget which year). And he stressed that their proceeds go to local charities helping women and youth in Sonoma County (and others I'm sure those are just bits and pieces I remember). read more

Wow, where to begin with this amazing store...I discovered it & am a lover of finer things, but at bargain prices. This is one of Santa Rosa's true treasure consignment stores. Absolutely amazing. I love how everytime I walk in I'm greeted by someone with a smile on their face and they are eager to help me. I love finding little treasures whenever I go there, at reasonable prices. Their inventory changes every 45-60 days so there is always something new to look at. read more

While I really love the mission of this place and initially felt good about consigning with them, I unfortunately can't say I had a great experience. While some staff members seemed nice, there was one in particular (who seemed to be in charge of buying) who was extraordinarily rude to a family member of mine who was there to pick up a piece I had brought for her, even insisting that since the table I brought for her was placed down temporarily at the back door, my family member was "trying to steal it from them" (to be clear, the table was never on offer). She ran inside and told the other volunteers loudly in front of store patrons that some "random lady" was trying to take their donations. This particular staff member was also very aggressive when receiving our furniture and basically forced my boyfriend to install the pieces in the store before ever telling me what price they could give me for them, even after I requested to talk before we handed over my beloved family furniture, some of which I was only bringing in to investigate pricing on. Then began a week long saga of phone calls about how they decided after our contracts were already signed and I was in the middle of an out-of-state move that they actually wanted to price things differently. When I said I'd rather find a family member to come retrieve some of the pieces that had too much sentimental value to sell at a lower price, they sold it anyway at the drastically lower price and told me after the fact.   Once while on hold (which was accidentally unmuted) I overheard them discussing how my "story didn't match up" about where I was moving to, and thus deemed me untrustworthy since I stopped at a city on my cross country move that I hadn't mentioned in our passing conversations (as though my route to my new home was any of their business). Additionally one of my pieces broke while in their possession and they required that I coordinate and/or pay someone from afar to come take a look at it and fix it, even though it was damaged weeks after being in their possession (the problem ended up being a loose screw, something anyone there could have easily investigated). Ultimately, it really seemed more important to one or two of the staff members to drum up drama than to sell the pieces or have a positive interaction with clients. Again, some of the women there were delightful, but the managerial/buying staff was very unpleasant towards me, my family, the person I sent to fix and pick up furniture, and even to her own co-workers. Again, I really think the work of the organization is important and I hope that people shop and donate, but I didn't enjoy the interpersonal interactions I had there and it really added a lot of additional stress to an already very stressful move. All-in-all, I would only recommend doing business with Treasure House if you're making a straightforward donation, since it seems that's pretty much what will end up happening anyway. read more

I was in Santa Rosa for vacation, love to shop, and check out local shops. I ran across the Treasure House and thought I would go in. Oh my, I was in heaven! It was decorated so nicely, so warm and welcoming. The staff there were so lovely. I wish everyone enjoyed there jobs like they seemed to. The items were like new without the new price tag. What a wonderful place. It is full of lovely things - dinnerware, furniture, vases and more! The staff is very helpful. Things are nicely arranged so it is very easy to see things - some other stores are so jam packed you just not sure what's there. They offer a 60/40 split for consignment, with 60% going to the consignor - more generous than most other consignment shops I have talked to. Great place - go find some treasures! read more

Special hidden jem for anything eclectic or vintage or new. All the staff was completely helpful and joyful. They seem to have a good system on running the business and keeping it clean and presentable. I'd recommend this place to anyone. I bought a coffee table (well priced) the owner was lovely and helped me put it in my litttle car and even gave me a towel to use for covering the glass. Repeat customer here! 11/7/18 The Treasure House is the ONLY consignment shop in Northern California that consigns dishes, linens, nick nacks, art, vintage/antiques. They are at a new location, 3450 Airway Drive. While I feel there is a large selection from which to choose, I would warn shoppers to watch there money when paying. I gave the clerk a twenty dollar bill the other day and got change for a ten-as I was just changing the bill, not paying for an item, there should have been no confusion. I only had a twenty in my wallet and getting ten ones back was a hardship for me. Additionally, it can be uncomfortable to shop there, the women need to love one another-perhaps women volunteering brings out the general in them. I saw a manager berating another volunteer until she cried. read more

I've shopped at and consigned things here for years - but today, I was very disappointed in this establishment. They 'lost' an item I consigned with them; no apology, no nothing. If you consign with them, INSIST that anything that is small be displayed in one of their locked cases, NOT directly on the sales floor. It's pretty evident that they are unable to keep an eye on the merchandise; after all, it's not THEIRS, it's YOURS, so if it disappears, they don't care! read more

A truly enjoyable shopping experience! They have a regularly changing inventory of consignment merchandise with all profits going to charity. No clothing but lots of household decor, dinnerware and antiques. There is a large selection of costume and vintage jewelry. Every item is tasteful and in good, clean condition. What a great place to find a unique gift for someone with a taste for the unique. Their prices are not Goodwill cheap, but very reasonable. This is a new location for Treasure House which has been in business in Santa Rosa for over 40 years! The place is bright and clean with no second-hand shop smell. Set up an appointment 2 Friday's ago with Robbin to purchase some candelabras that I had seen online. When we got there we were greeted warmly by all people that we encountered. My items were boxed and ready to go. Robbin showed me how to assemble and I then quickly cruised through the store to look for collectibles which they had plenty. Had to get out of there before I started buying more. Got a great restaurant recommendation from another staff member, another helpful staff member loaded my car and we were off. The following day I assembled the candelabras and noticed a couple small crystals were missing, could have been anywhere. I then contacted Robbin and she said she would send me a couple in the mail to save me a trip. Sure enough I got a text either the same day or next that they were on their way. They showed as promised within a couple of days. It's so nice to purchase items from such a professional friendly establishment. I would definitely not hesitate to purchase from them again. I have been going to the Treasure House for 14 years. They used to be on Wilson Street but now moved to a larger building with easier parking. I am a longtime collector and find some very good bargains at the Treasure House. There are always new items coming in so you never know what you will find. Everyone that works there are volunteers and are very helpful. I can't say enough about the Treasure House...if you haven't been there check it out, you might just find what you have been looking for.
