In my case, I had to have several repeat site visits because what I communicated did not end up on the Estimate multiple times, so on the third time I actually needed to write down every item step-by-step to hold them accountable for the bottom line, which still needed to be tweaked in the end!! That being said, I will say the team is honest!! It was discovered during install that a large portion of my job was already insulated and could not be blown-in. My estimate was changed on-site and I was billed only for what I used. EXCELLENT business acumen. That's what 67 years in business will do. I absolutely will not hesitate to recommend them, however, I will advise caution with the sales steps of this business. perhaps it's best to request everything you want in writing down to the specifics, including square footages, that way there can be no misconception of the scope of work...

He was very knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He showed me everywhere that he would seal for rodent proofing. His pricing was exactly where I would put it. He was able to fit me in in a week and on the day of the job he had 4 guys; 2 of which were family members. They were all very professional and worked very quickly and well. I had a lot of wires and lines running in the attic and was worried some of them would get damaged (I know my fault and they should have been tacked up to begin with) but they worked around them and nothing was damaged. I was also worried about my roof since it was just done with lightweight concrete but no tiles were broken. They setup portable walls that were sealed with contractors plastic sheeting so any dust/contaminants were sealed away and directed at a HEPA filter. They finished the 1300 sqft attic and also the garage attic in about 6 hours and it looked perfect. I was very impressed. They even removed about 50ft of old HVAC piping from the garage attic (when they probably could have left it). I feel like it's very hard to find contractors along with their team that truly take pride in their work in this day in age but Leo and his team are the exception. It helps that it is a family owned and run business which mean they really care about their clients and also the work done. I found insulation labs and Ray came out for an estimate. He told me the same thing as ChatGPT did so it confirmed my suspicions. His quote was definitely on the expensive side compare to a competitors quote but he did mention that his quote is expensive because they use 12mm thick vapor barriers which is more resistant. The other competitor quoted me around half the price but for 6mm barriers. I again asked ChatGPT and it told me that 12mm is preferred because 6mm is prone to breaking once a contractor or someone go down to the crawlspace and when that happens it loses its purpose to control vapor. As a result I went with insulations labs and they spent a day putting it in. So far I haven't seen any issues and I believe they have done a good job from the pictures they shared
