Very personable & professional. Lint Busters came out to Oxnard to service my mother's dryer. My mom had never had the lint vent cleaned out so it was filled with lint & effecting the efficiency of the dryer. After Lint Busters serviced her dryer, it's working great. Highly recommend this company! read more

Potential lifesavers... literally!! Outstanding workmanship and "above and beyond" customer service. Recently purchased a home in Oxnard and hired 101 Lint Busters to replace old clogged flexible dryer vent exhausting into crawl space with new rigid vent line exhausting properly to the exterior. While performing that work they discovered a serious electrical issue unrelated to the dryer and were kind enough to help me diagnose the source so I could deal with it. They also discovered that years of lint had built up inside the dryer and offered to stay on to clean that out for a reasonable additional fee. Found signs of burned lint - previous owners were fortunate there wasn't a serious fire! Highly recommend 101 Lint Busters! Hire them if you have any concerns at all or just need routine maintenance. read more

Total waste of $300. Save your money as they will attempt an upcharge after already overcharging for a minimal service. Updated as of 9/4/25: After hearing back from the vendor, I'm modifying my review, but not by much. This same conclusion could have been determined by a quick inspection, before going through a worthless "cleaning: for $300 only to learn it could cost thousands to repair. This is no reflection on the owners or the people who were at my home. I simply DO NOT like paying for things and receiving nothing in return. Congratulations on all your great reviews, and I wish you both great success. Just wasn't what we expected. read more

Easy to schedule appointment. Great service, showed up on time. Would highly recommend them to others for dryer vent cleaning. Great value for the service performed. read more

We were in desperate need of someone looking into our dryer and we didn't know where to start. We found 101 Lint Busters on Yelp and decided to give them a try. We were more than pleased with Eric's service, professionalism, and expert knowledge of dryers and our situation. He probably prevented a dryer fire! He and his team were meticulous and thorough. Eric also spent time with me to educate me and share knowledge and dryer maintenance best practices. He spent extra time even returning to our home to check on the dryer when it was in need of new rollers, referring us to a technician who could help us with roller replacements. I was - and am - thoroughly impressed by 101 Lint Busters. They will be a part of my yearly home maintenance projects! Thank you, Eric and team! read more

Good service. More expensive than last visit. I would shop around next time I need dryer vent cleaning.

I needed my dryer vent cleaned, and 101 Lint Busters did a great job. Setting up the appointment was super easy online. They did a great job. Very professional and friendly. The technician was very thorough in identifying the problems I was experiencing as well as explaining what he would be doing. read more

My job was not an easy one with a large stackable washer/dryer in a very small space. Eric arrived promptly & kept me informed on his way. He brought his ace helper & within an hour we were up & running again, with wet lint removed & air flowing through again. Would definitely recommend him for dryer vent cleaning. He came prepared and explained the importance of this service to prevent fires & other problems. read more

I booked an appointment with 101 Lint Busters after finding them on Yelp in searching for someone to take a look at our dryer vent, which hadn't been cleaned or maintained in at least a decade (probably more). Eric and his helper arrived promptly at the start of the two hour window they had given me. Immediately upon looking at our hose situation, he let me know the hose had some issues itself (crushed in parts and unnecessary hose length coiled around in other parts, and the hose was old and fragile all around). He walked me through options on how to move forward ranging from doing what I had booked them to do (clean the existing hose and call it a day), be handy ourselves and replace the hose with a new one, or they could replace it for us. We chose the latter option, as dryer hoses are not our specialty. They were able to get us set up with a replacement within the two hour window they were booked to be at our place, and they did an awesome job. The new hose/pipe is sturdy, clean, and set up much more efficiently than the old one. Pricing was fair for the labor done. Eric even installed a CO2/smoke detector over the dryer for us. I'd recommend Eric and his crew to anyone needing work on their dryer vents, and I will be calling them back up when we are due for a cleaning. read more

Eric answered my phone call before 8am on a Wednesday. Immediately, I knew that Eric knew exactly what he was talking about and shared my situation. I attempted to replace my dryer vent myself, and ran into major challenges. My wife was on me and really needed the dryer fixed asap. Eric was able to send Sam out the same day in the early afternoon. Sam immediately reviewed what I did and finished off the project. It was obvious Sam was as a professional and finished the duct and got the system up and running. I cannot thank Eric and Sam enough and will definitely use them for any needs in the future. Thank you for a great experience!! read more

I was scared... our condo vents are fragile, and not the durable material they should be, but Samuel was so patient and thorough! I'm so grateful, and a little surprised he was successful without it requiring a replacement of damaged vents!! I am SO grateful and thankful for their friendly, professional, reasonably priced service!! read more

Stay far away from this company. I advised the owner I originally spoke to that my dryer vent was long (extra $$!) and that I had a (booster) fan within the vent. I was quoted a price over the phone based on that info and scheduled an appt. Upon arrival, the employee said he didn't know how to deal with the fan, called the owner, who told me the fan would be an add'l $175, bringing the total for dryer vent cleaning to over $400! I advised him this felt like a bait and switch and refused the service. He charged me a $50 service call. I had a different service come out today (Brian at HVDC, Inc). Price was as quoted and less expensive than 101 Lint Buster! Responding to owner's (less than gracious response)...as to your "experience"...your employee (who was a nice guy) did not know how to deal with the booster fan, which is why he called you once he was here. Additionally, in my initial call to you, I volunteered the information that I had a fan in the vent, you did not ask me. At that time, you could have asked a very simple question, "Do you hear a fan when the dryer stops running?" that would have confirmed my VOLUNTEERED information. Nor did you advise me at that time how much additional you would charge ($175!!) because of the fan. Bad form! I paid $50 for NO service from you...you confirmed with your employee he had initiated no service. I stand by my bait and switch comment. read more

I called 101 Lint Busters about a concern I had with my clothes dryer. I was scheduled immediately and my problem was resolved quickly and professionally. My technician, Sam, was personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. He took great care of the work area and made sure everything was cleaned when was finished. I will definitely use 101 Lint Busters the next time I need this type of service. read more

Called and came on time the next day . Very professional and efficient . Cleaned vent and cleaned up after finished .

The team is always super helpful and quick to clean the vents at my place once they're over after I've scheduled them. I've had them over about 3+ years in a row now and I'm a very happy customer! 100% recommend. read more

Quick to respond and easy to schedule quickly! Lint build up wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, but better to be safe than sorry

Our dryer needed a few parts replaced, and after pulling it out, we could see that the vent was FULL of lint and other random things. I contacted Eric and he came right out and got it cleaned out quickly! He's super nice and professional, and gave us a few tips on making the area around our dryer, safer. Highly recommend! read more

I "HIGHLY RECOMMEND" 101 Lint Busters. He cleaned out our dryer duct. We were having to run the dryer cycles 2-3 times to get a load to dry. Sometime that didn't even work! Amazing! Eric certainly knows his stuff. He came in and took care of business, let us know what to purchase for preventive care, and even looked inside our dryer to confirm it didn't need maintenance. He is a no nonsense, honest man! read more

101 Lint Busters was great! Our dryer pipe vent comes out on our roof and needed thorough cleaning. The fellows who came did an excellent job, and arrived as scheduled. Our dryer is working great again. We will use them in the future! read more

I made an appointment online to have my dryer vents brushed out. I live in a condo with a poor design for dryer venting. The vent runs up the wall and out the ceiling and is an eye sore. This has always prevented me from having any shelving in the laundry room and when I explained that to Eric, he came up with a solution! I am so happy with the end result. From booking online, to getting updates for arrival, the entire experience was smooth. Eric and his helper were professional, down to earth and I couldn't be happier! read more

Eric & Sam were GREAT! They went above and beyond what I expected, making sure the lint/duct problem was entirely taken care of. They were on time, very friendly and professional, giving me tips on how & when to self clean the dryer myself. If I could give them 100 stars I would! Thanks again 101! read more

This is my second review for Eric Gonzales, owner of 101 Lint Busters (he helped me a couple of years ago). I called him a couple of Saturdays ago about 8:30 am from my condo in Santa Barbara. I needed him to come and clean out my dryer vent the same day if at all possible. He said he'd be there within 90 minutes and he was! He is thorough and obviously knows what he's doing. He has my highest recommendation. Thanks Eric! read more

Great customer service. Very informative and explained our issue in easy to understand way. We have a townhouse that is situated in such a way that the dryer vents up to the roof. Eric was so great in helping us fix our issue. On time, professional and not as expensive as I thought it would be. Will use his service every year now!! read more

Eric was super responsive and picked up my phone call as soon as I called. I happened to fit into his schedule the very next day, which was grateful appreciated since I really needed the service immediately. The text message updates about arrive time were helpful. He arrived within the scheduled window, talked me through the work, provided some additional helpful advice, and was all around professional and nice to interact with. Also thoughtful of my home (e.g., was careful pulling out the machine). Highly recommend. read more

Promptly responded to my message and scheduled within just one day. FINALLY found a service man for our dryer who actually did a comprehensive job! Cleaned years of lint from every nook and cranny, replaced the old original vent piping. It's a wonder nothing caught fire, and best of all, the machine now runs so efficiently! It's like having a new dryer and I'm sure I'll see the difference in our electric bill savings too! Thank you Eric. read more

I would give 10 stars if I could! Called yesterday afternoon and Eric(owner/ operator) was able to fit me in this morning. He was right on time as promised and just finished cleaning out our dryer vent that hadn't been cleaned in over 5 years. He took the time to explain what we could do to avoid fires and extend the life of our dryer. He was informative and very helpful. I will definitely use him again and definitely recommend him. read more

Eric was prompt, courteous and professional. I have used other companies in the past but nothing compares to the workmanship and care provided by Eric. He brought in the right equipment, even had a can that caught all of the dryer lint without making a mess. I would highly recommend 101 Lint Busters. read more

It was a mistake using 101 Lint Busters. I was taken advantage of with an exorbitant bill for an easy job. I cannot recommend this company.

The HOA required Carol to clean her dryer vent. This was more than a handyman task because the vent ran a good 20 feet under her condo. So, she called 101LINT Busters with the intent of booking an appointment and instead, Eric arrived in under 5 minutes because he was already in the complex. He explained what needed to be done, and checked the dryer and surrounding area for any troubles. Couldn't be happier with the friendly and professional service he provided. Thanks, Eric! read more

Excellent work. Eric did a professional job. Completely cleaned out the dryer linen hose that went quite a ways through the house. Recommended a new hose from dryer to vent hole (old one was crushed behind dryer). Definitely will use in the future read more

Worth every penny! I spent hundreds of dollars on a new drier and I've hated using it because it took 2 hours to dry a single towel. Not anymore! Eric's 101 Lint Busters did just that...they busted out the lint in my super-long vent system and now the drier runs like it's supposed to. I can't imagine how much money in natural gas that Eric's going to save me now. Great service, friendly attitude, dude knows his stuff and does whatever it takes to get it done (even went above and beyond to remove the drier from a tricky location and replaced the vent connection, which he had in his specially-built rig. There is no better choice than 101 Lint Busters! read more

I was getting a message from my dryer that the dryer duct is clogged. My sister referred me to 101 Lint Busters. I called and spoke to Eric and set up an appointment for the next morning. He actually showed up a little early. He explained what needs to be done, showed me some clumps of lint he pulled out, and mentioned things that I can do to help prevent build up in the future. Eric was very friendly and very honest!!! I was really impressed that he covered up the floor and was very careful. 101 Lint Busters is AWESOME!!! read more

Eric is awesome: honest, friendly, thorough, and hard working! You usually don't think about having an amazing experience getting your dryer vent service but Eric delivers. It was easy to make an appointment with him. He gave us great tips on keeping our dryer in tiptop condition and even recommend that because of our very short vent system, that we didn't need an annual cleaning and could probably go 2-3 years instead. What kind of businessman does that? An honest businessman who I will wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. Don't look anywhere else, just call Eric. read more

Eric was great! Thorough, clean, professional and left me with lots of important tips for safety and maintenance. A real pro. He even gave me a discount for doing two units! I've used others in the past and Eric at 101 is tops! read more

Eric at 101 Lint Busters is a very professional business owner. I called him and he was able to come to my house the next day to clean my dryer duct. While he was doing it, he explained the process and showed me everything that came out of it which of course is what caused my dryer to not work efficiently. He also took a picture of the inside of my dryer and suggested that he could give that a thorough cleanout as well and that if anything was to go wrong, he was fully responsible so I told him to go for it. The job was done within a couple of hours and he was very thorough and cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend this company. He is very reasonable in comparison to other companies that I got quotes from and very friendly. read more
