My first review was 1 star and detailed all the problems i had. In response i received a call asking me to remove review or at least increase stars and tone review down. Origional quote for painting 2 bedrooms, closer doors, living room & dinning room and small hallway. Window sills, trim & bedroom doors and inside if dront door was $11,000! No ceilings to paint and did not include baseboards. And after saying we did not want the kitchen painted, it was included in the estimate. We refused this amount and later he spoke with his boss and reduced the cost to $7,000, great! But we do not want the kitchen painted and DO want the baseboards painted! This is the 3rd job I have had done with Hailey's. I needed a garage door opener removed and new one installed. Leo came out and reviewed the situation and made several suggestions. We decided to have the work done and 2 days later Erlin showed up to do the work. He came early and was ready to do the work. He looked at our setup and let us know that he would be making a small adjustment. His input was greatly appreciated. The operation of our door is smooth and quiet! These guys are cons. Avi Berger was the staff who made our contract with my mother for insulation work to be completed in our attic. Their installers damaged our HVAC ductwork and made no mention of this. Our HVAC people, Service Champions, happened to do their bi-annual maintenance on our A/C system and noticed the damages. When Avi was informed of the damage then sent one of his guys to repair the ductwork. By repair, they simply tried to tape up the damage. I personally called to complain asking for the repair work to be done properly- get the door replaced by Service Champions (as any outside work apparently will void our existing warranty). Avi spoke with Service Champions to discuss and when they quoted for the repairs (~$3600) Avi complained to them, and then to my brother, stating he will not pay anything more than $500 or get his guys to do the ductwork replacement. Since then communication with Avi has been lacking and my mother wants quick resolution in fixing HB's damages. My family never plans to do build with crooks like these guys again. read more

Warning- these people may not know what they doing, but they will try to cover it up with "walk throughs" with you to "make sure you are satisfied". They made mistakes and cut corners, and they just didn't understand the total scope of the jobs. I am sorry to say that I used them, and I am pretty certain that I did overpay them. The owner called to harass me about payment and release of money, and he was completely unprofessional. I had an extremely poor experience with this company, which appears to operate under the names "Hailey's Pro Services" and "Teamwork Remodeling Group, Inc.", based in Woodland Hills, CA. I hired them to replace some doors at my home. A representative named Leo came out, gave me a quote that seemed reasonable, and I paid a $200 deposit by check. I was told they would get back to me with a date to schedule the work. That never happened. What followed was roughly six months of back-and-forth calls and texts just trying to get the job scheduled. After all that waiting, they finally scheduled a date to come out, and then simply DID NOT SHOW UP--AND NO CALLS. Eventually, I was put in contact with the owner, Jimmy. In my opinion, he is extremely unprofessional. He repeatedly made comments along the lines of not really wanting to do the job because it "wasn't enough money," even though they were the ones who quoted the price in the first place. After more delays, we finally agreed on a new date: April 29, 2026. About two weeks before the appointment, Jimmy texted asking whether that date would work. I replied, "Confirmed." After that, I never received a time window, arrival notice, or any additional scheduling details. Then, on the morning of April 29, a crew showed up at my door at 7:50 AM without any prior notice of the arrival time, waking up my wife and me. When I asked Jimmy why no time had ever been provided, his response was dismissive (something about, "It's very clear"). When I called to discuss it, he was extremely rude and repeatedly said things like, "We don't want you as a customer" and "We don't want to do the job." This was one of the most unprofessional service experiences I have ever had. I paid a deposit, waited months, dealt with missed scheduling, a no-show, poor communication, and ultimately very rude treatment from the owner. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company, now now, not ever. read more

Work was average to below average at best. We had 3 new doors cut and hung with very poor quality. After sharing our dissatisfaction with the quality of work the doors were redone from below average to average. We also had 4 ceiling holes patched. One was in rectangular shape that was not blended in to match the rest of the ceiling. We also had an outside porch plug that had no power that we contracted to have fixed, but unfortunately was not. They told us that it would be an additional $1,400 to redo the ceiling and fix the outlet. Another item on our project list was to have our kitchen pantry shelves changed out and some of the doors and drawers repaired. The initial work was not quality work so they came back to redo the work to our satisfaction. But, only after we brought it to their attention. The only part of their work that was satisfactory was the installation of 6 smoke alarms. We had more work for them, but we had to hire a different company to install our new carpet and vinyl flooring. The new company also stained our bannister and installed new metal balusters. They also repaired the poor ceiling job and fixed the outlet plus fixed our block wall holding our gate that was hard to open because the wall had shifted. They did all that work for less than Hailey's Builders charged us for their handyman work. I do not recommend Hailey's builders because they are way overpriced for the quality of workmanship. read more

Don't waste your time. A guy from this company came out to estimate my work. I told them over the phone I had two things I needed worked on. I should have known things weren't going to go well when he tried to unnecessarily expand the drywall work. He looked at my two tasks and said he would text me an estimate. Before he left he asked if I had anything else. I said there is this one thing I'm thinking about doing sometime in the future. He took a look. The next day his estimate came back over text with all three items. One number. I asked if I could get each item itemized. The answer, they would cost more because he gave me a discount for all three. I told him I had no plans to do the 3rd more expensive project at this time. I ask again for the itemized estimate. It's months later that this project was ended and I still wake up in the middle of the night blaming myself for being taken advantage of by the salesman who never followed through on promises given. David deserted the management of the job, was unable to reach and delegated to others after I declined a Foundation repair job he was pushing (unneeded). For 7 months, renovating a small bathroom, work dates given were either late, no shows or workers with no instructions on exactly what was to be done. Demolition left on the side of the house for months, incorrect parts, mismatched fixtures ordered or never ordered. Lights misaligned, floor damaged, toilet chipped and stained, grout missing, painting sloppy, recirculating pump for hot water not replaced, plumbing turn off hidden behind vanity drawer and much more With pictures in my file. The price quoted changed as or additional fees were added. I don't like to give a poor review, however this has been a nightmare still working for me with additional costs.so i think other single ladies need to be aware. read more

They came to my house TWICE, and I still have not received a price for the scope of work. I have no idea why this company is in business. The first time I called (after seeing an ad in a neighborhood newsletter), we set up an appointment time for the following week. The day before the appointment I called back to confirm, and they said that the appointment was not showing up in their system, so they had to schedule something for the following day. They sent a woman to my house who acted like she knew what she was doing (she even went to the car to get her "special measuring device" to get the square footage of my rooms). When she left, she said she had a good understanding of what needed to be done, and told me she would send me a quote by the end of the day. In the evening, I texted to ask whether I should still expect the quote that day. She told me that unfortunately she didn't get all the information that she needed, and she would be sending "her brother" to come again the following morning. I asked why she had been sent if she wasn't able to provide an accurate quotation based on the scope of work. She then said she could give me a quote, and sent over an invoice for $10,000 with zero explanation on what would be spent where. I asked for an itemized invoice, and she said that she couldn't provide that. I said I would not be using their company. The following week, I got a phone call from someone "who makes the calls" I guess (Angel), and he asked if I would like to move forward with their company. I said I had absolutely no desire to work with them, and he apologized profusely for my experience (when I explained it to him), and said that he would like to send someone else out to give me another free estimate (itemized this time), and he promised to give an estimate that was less than what I had been quoted previously. At that point I had met with quite a few contractors, so I had a good idea of what the job should cost, and knew that their quotation was on the much higher range. I reluctantly agreed to letting them come back to "get it right," and someone else came the following week on a Thursday. He asked me if he could get back to me by the weekend with a quote for the job, and he never sent anything to me. That was over two weeks ago!! This company is a waste of time, and I have no idea how they are doing business. Definitely stay away! read more

I reached out to Hailey's pro service from the Top Pros magazine that mails out. I wanted an estimate to change out an existing electrical box on my bedroom ceiling as I wanted to hang a ceiling fan. I was very specific with the phone appointment setter of the scope of work needed. The estimator showed up as scheduled, but he told me that he was told that it was an electrical panel replacement. He then proceeded to tell me that the job is too small and their electrician would charge me $700 for the job. I told him that the price is crazy and that my time is being wasted with the lack of communication with his office appointment setters. On top off all that, this guy came into my house smelling like he just smoked a pack of cigarettes. The stench was on his breath and all over his clothes, and unfortunately now the smell is in my house I have a nice clean house in an upscale neighborhood, and I did not appreciate the estimator coming to my home smelling like an ashtray. Very unprofessional of him and this company. I will never call them again for anything. Time wasted! Buyer beware. If I had the option of zero stars. They arrived on time, looked at the job and gave me an estimate that we agreed to. This job was replacing facia boards and painting wood trim on the outside of the house. I thought their price was a little high but not bad. When the worker arrived the next day what he said he was supposed to do was not what I had agreed to, so the estimator came out and we got the job straightened out. The worker came back the next day and asked me if I had an extension cord, which I let him borrow then he asked me if I had a ladder he could borrow. Thought it was odd that you came to do a painting job and had no ladder. He came the next day and again asked if I had a ladder and then asked again on his last day. The quality of what he did was good but left paint chips on my lawn and driveway. When the estimator came out to collect the final amount, she asked if I was pleased with the job and I told her I was not and that I would not hire them again. She asked what they could do to make me happy and I told her I already said what I was unhappy with and she took her final check and left without offering to do anything. read more

Representative responded to the location for a quote. We accepted the price, signed the invoice/contract, and for the down payment he followed us to our home nearby because he said a written check was best. He came into our home and shortly after said an error was made on the qoute and it would now be double the price. We declined that price and they refused to honor the original price we were quoted. If an error is supposedly made by a representative, the customer should never suffer the consequences. We had accepted the deal, signed the invoice/contract, and paid money only to have the price doubled after coming into our home?
