The high exposed wood beam ceiling, lots of brick, multi-levels & comfy padding on chairs & in booths added to a great dining experience as well. They even have a self service coffee bar. Atomic Cowboy is two restaurants in one...Denver Biscuit Company & Fat Sully's NY style pizza, burgers & more. From 11am-2pm you can order off of both menus. Parking is mainly on the street & a small parking lot in the back. We went on a Wednesday afternoon in late November for lunch & the place was busy & filled with customers. It was nicely decorated for Christmas. We were greeted immediately & shown to our table. Service was fantastic, we were checked on frequently. We ordered the Lights Out Burger which was a double smash burger with American Cheese, yummy homemade pickles, diced onion & burger sauce on a garlic butter toasted brioche bun with Waffle Fries. The burger was delicious, very flavorful & cheesy, dripping with sauce - you almost need a knife & fork. And the crispy Waffle Fries were absolutely the best. Huge pizza and great deals! Off of Broadway, this place is a chain for Denver biscuit Company, atomic cowboy, and several others. It's street parking only so make sure you read the signs. Some areas you will have to pay and some areas are free. I went with a large group and they were able to accommodate us within a couple minutes. The server was very kind and helpful. We had a lot of questions. My friends all shared a huge pizza and I got my own slice of white sauce with chicken and bacon. The overall taste of flavor was great! I thought the pizza was cooked well and flavorful. Nothing else really stood out. It was just a normal pizza to me. The size was huge though, so that can go in the pro column. I called and was told they are now making their ranch from their supplier but it's the same recipe. There's no way. I ordered from the biscuit company menu - THREE RUN DOUBLE and thought the fried chicken had the perfect breading, super tasty, flavorful, AND was not overcooked. I also visited the next day to have the biscuits and had it in the form of biscuit pot pie- yes that is indeed as heavenly as it sounds. My friend and I just moved to Colorado this month. We got a "free biscuit" coupon card at the Halloween parade so we went in to redeem it, thinking it was more of a casual walk-up, to-go kind of place. We ordered our free biscuit to split as well as a mimosa carafe to share. The service was friendly until the end. After we paid, the bartender (our server) passive aggressively mentioned *right in front of us* that another customer "knows how to tip". And then scoffed about the amount we tipped. We tipped what I know to be the standard amount per drink. I wanted to tip more and wished we could've, but it was genuinely already a splurge for us to get the mimosas in the first place. We are both unemployed currently since we just moved here and are job searching, so we don't have much extra money to spend, and weren't expecting to spend any $ (which is why we were excited to use the free biscuit coupon). The entire time up until then, we were raving to each other about how good the food was and how we were excited that we found a cute place in the neighborhood to come back to, so it was a huge bummer to have it end the way it did. It honestly hurt my feelings and made me feel bad about the whole thing, wishing I never went there at all. I know nowhere is a burger advertised as the must get item considering the 2 restaurant names are Fat Sully's Pizza and Denver Biscuit Co, but they were featured as the best burger in 2023 by Westword so I was looking forward to this meal. This location is super convenient if you're already out drinking on Broadway St, but probably not if you're hoping to park close by. There's a separate outside to-go order window which I appreciated, you can sit there while waiting so you don't have to loiter around the street. At 8pm on a Friday the kitchen seemed super busy - online ordering was disabled and my order took a while to prepare. Service was really friendly, though they did forget my sauces (I should have checked before walking away) The burger was just meh, if this is the best burger in Denver we're in trouble. The bun didn't taste very fresh and had that super thick skin that breaks apart from the soft interior. The pickles are too sweet and with the thickness and quantity of the slices in this burger, it really took over the entire bite. Burger was cooked fine though not really smashed, and the American cheese was nice and gooey. I thought the price was a great deal considering most of the other burger places are charging $15 for a burger without fries. My partner and I visited Denver for the first time and we had a blast! Fortunately, a close friend of ours moved to Denver a few years back and they were free to show us around. First time coming to this location, and I will see you didn't disappoint. Came in the morning so we had Denver biscuit. I guess they have two different restaurants in the same facility, and you can only order from one while it's open. The biscuit is so buttery crispy flaky and soft in the middle that it's making my mouth water just thinking about. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with the Nashville rub, not spicy at all for those that are intimidated by the heat. Great flavor and the chicken was very moist. My girlfriend ordered the DBC. Once again the chicken was cooked to perfection, not dry at all. The biscuits well you already know what they do. To me, I enjoy a little space with my food and this happening. I'm not taking anything away from it though as I did not order it and it was still very good. The only cons I would say about this location is do you have to be ready for a week. At least for the Denver biscuit Company, I don't know how it is during the hours of the pizza spot, but in the morning be prepared for away especially during football Sundays.
