I stopped in on their Tuesday burger night and got the "burger of the Month" I highly recommend this as it has an amazing bacon jam aioli and cooked onions on a pretzel bun. The ambiance was nice, the open kitchen with the wood fire hearth right at the entrance added a warm cozy feel from the onset. The restaurant was warmly lit but not dark. We were seated immediately in the far left dining area in an elevated booth. After reviewing the menu we settled on the fried deviled eggs and wood fire oysters for starters and the Vincent Vega pizza for dinner. Fried deviled eggs was a first for us and it was so good! The egg white was breaded very lightly and fried and the egg yolk was piped on top with a piece of smoky delicious bacon goodness. It had a nice smoky, bacon-y taste and we devoured them. I only wish you got more than 2 pieces. I think 4 pieces would be better for the price considering it's essentially one egg but I'm not complaining. The wood fire oysters was another hit for us, the serving came with 6 half shell oysters topped with breadcrumbs (light), swimming in butter and fire roasted. I think we ate these even faster than the deviled eggs lol! Would definitely get these again. The pizza also did not disappoint. If you like bacon, mushrooms and creamy Boursin cheese, you'll love this pizza. We added crushed red pepper flakes which added a nice kick. The crust is the star of the show; thin, crispy but still has body and slightly chewy. Yum! That wood fire hearth definitely makes a difference. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back! The staff were also very nice and friendly.

The pickled garlic was an excellent addition to the board and the elk salami was fantastic. I had the steak sammy, which was a Sunday Special. It should be on the menu all the time. It was excellent. My son had the steak sammy (like father like son) and his wife had the half chicken. It was all spectacular. So very good. For dessert we shared the cheesecake and the tiramisu bread pudding between the four of us. Everyone was happy. The portions were large so to go boxes were had by all. Special shoutout to Reagan our server. She was exceptional. Made the right recommendations on all things. Timed our orders perfectly and we had just an amazing time Thank you Hearth Wood Fired Cuisine and thank you Reagan for making my Father's day. We took desserts for later at the hotel: My husband's brownie was good and they packed the ice cream separately, so that made him happy. I had the peach cobbler, and while good -- I tend to like my peaches a bit more "peachy" ....they use lots and lots of cinnamon and allspice. The fruit was dark brown. We ordered a Diners burger, Virginia burger, and house wings. The Burgers were borderline inedible due to the huge amount of salt. If i had been dining in I would have sent it back. I would not feed that much salted meat to my dog. The burgers dampness also had literally demolished the lower bun and iceberg lettuce. So i had to disgard those sodding blobs. The Virginian burger also salty, and the crab cake, small and underwhelming. The Chicken wings tasteless and dry. On too of this i had no choice but to pay a 10% tip for "take out prepare ". If i can give zero i would. Id say "fire the chef"

I don't necessarily blame the restaurant for that since people are constantly coming and going through both the front door and patio, but it did affect the experience. We didn't try the beer wall this time. We came primarily for the food, and I'm glad we did. We both ordered the Angry Chicken sandwich, and it was fantastic. It had great flavor, a good level of spice, and was absolutely massive. For $19, though, it better be big! Honestly, I almost wish they offered a smaller version with just one chicken patty at a lower price. The sandwich has so many great elements, but it's almost too much food. I'd happily order a smaller version. Our server was friendly, but he was clearly spread pretty thin. It took a while to get drink refills and our check. Overall, there were a few things that could have been better, but I'd definitely come back for that chicken sandwich.

I really enjoyed each of the dish and all the beers that are on a tap is the highlight of the restaurant. There are two long tables in the middle for larger groups. The crispy apple jack chicken has all the ingredients for a delicious sandwich. But I would replace the 3 chicken tenders for a large chunk of chicken breast. That would make the sandwich perfect. Such a great variety. Fresh fruit of all kinds, french toast, waffles and chicken, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage , scrabbled eggs, quiche, house potatoes, deviled eggs, and a charcuterie board . On the sweet side they had mini cinnamon rolls, danish, brownies, cookies and cupcakes with the galentine theme. The interior design emanates speakeasy. Every detail of design was carefully curated with the utmost intention. Staff was fantastic. The lovely staff were genuinely happy to take photos for us without any prompting. The flow of the buffet was perfect, and the food presentation was delightfully charming! There was a photo back drop available and the decor was so festive, and classy yet simple. The decor wasn't over the top , it was just the right amount of decorations to add pizzazz and celebrate with festive spirit. We all had a very enjoyable time celebrating Galentine's day! It was a wonderful event in an equally wonderful space. The music was on point, as well as the volume level. It was loud enough to enjoy the music, yet low enough that you could hold a conversation without screaming to hear each other. It was very peaceful and even if you don't choose a booth, the tables on the opposite side of the bar do provide some privacy due to the small partitions. The variety of food offered was just right (not overwhelmingly too many options and not too little options) and the food was tasty. It was an excellent first impression that left me excited to await what other fun events they will hold in the future.
