Avoid This Place - Hair in Food & Terrible Service! I wish I could give this place zero stars. We had an awful experience here, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. First off, we found hair in our pizza--absolutely disgusting! When we brought it to the server's attention, all they did was apologize and make a new batch. No discount, no compensation, just a half-hearted "sorry" like it was no big deal. The food itself was mediocre at best. The Caesar salad looked straight out of a Costco container, and the wings were clearly not fresh--probably from Costco or another bulk supplier. The only somewhat decent dish was the calamari, but even that was ruined by the fact that it was drenched in a saucy topping. Who serves calamari like that? It's supposed to be crispy! Service was terrible, the food was nothing special, and overall, it was a waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and walk an extra 20 feet to Dough Boys instead. ***3.5 stars*** AP is your typical off beach oen air sports bar. The staff/bartenders are great. They offer a full bar but are limited. Great place for decent bar food and drinks. The shark bite drink is pretty good. A little grenadine is added for the "shark bite" effect. Worth stopong by if you are on the mainstrip. read more

I thought it was OK. Wasn't overly impressed with the beer selection, cocktails, or food menu, and I thought it was overpriced for the experience. The service was friendly, and they had plenty of televisions to catch a game. Also the cheesesteak was pretty good. For the downside, the chicken fingers and french fries managed to get burned, and we spent $25 for two pour it yourself beers. Recommend bringing the prices down a bit, tightening up the menu, and maybe hosting some game day specials or something. Overall I thought it was meh. read more

I hate to write bad reviews, but this place is a tourist trap, plain and simple. Sounds like a nice concept, self-serve craft beer at the beach, but to say its run poorly would be an understatement. There was only one local beer on their taps, Back Bay's Orange Crush IPA, which I know and enjoy. When I poured it, however, it was a very strange color. When I gave it a taste, it was obviously spoiled. The manager tried to say that is what all IPAs are like, but the (friendly) staff thankfully interceded, and he admitted it was bad and I got another pour. Unfortunately, the next one was skunky, if not spoiled. My wife did get a cider that was fine, but that was enough for me and we left. I should have known better when I saw there were still Pumpkin and Oktoberfest beers on tap in mid February, along with a few empty taps that hadn't been replaced. Beware... read more

Wow! This place was a pleasant surprise I was down at the oceanfront with time to kill on a Saturday morning. I wandered into Atlantic Pints, as it was the only thing open near the 24th street park where I was meeting friends. The orange crush was super fresh, and the fried shrimp platter was probably the best I've had at the beach. I'm not a beer drinker but they have a ton of drafts for self pour. We didn't take advantage of the pour it yourself beer selection. We wanted a quick, light bite to eat so settled for a pepperoni & mushroom thin crust pizza. After spending so much time in the state of Illinois, the first thing that came to mind was the Illinois favorite Monicals (paper-thin tastes like cardboard) but we were pleasantly surprised with the flavor of the dough and got to talk to the cook, who happened to be from the Chicago area, so understood the fear of Monicals and appreciated the comments for the flavor of the pizza. This place was across the street from our hotel and has a seaside sports bar vibe. We both got the Crab Cake BALT (minus the bacon) with a side of fries. It was pretty good but I would definitely suggest adding some type of cheese to it. As a starter we got the calamari which tasted great but wasn't crispy enough. Beers are self poor which is cool but I don't know how I feel about it given that it's COVID. Also it's good if you're decent at pouring your own beer from a tap with no foam. They give you a card to use, you put it in every time you pour and you take it out when you're done filling your glass. The only thing is that the machine doesn't account for foam so it'll charge you for that. If you're getting a growler you won't be able to see the foam inside so again this system is cool if you know how to use a beer tap. Beer cards are used between customers so make sure you sanitize it, that you sanitize your hands and wear a mask when you're walking to the tap. The manager Tony is a piece of trash and refused to come out of the kitchen to discuss valid overcharges. Overcharged by 2 beers and the manager wouldn't give back the money. Our party got 9 beers during happy hour ($5) and they charged us for 11 ($7 each). So we brought it up to our waitress at the end, and the waitress said that she told the manager and that the manager would come out and talk to us. Tony, the manager, gave the waitress a five dollar bill to give back to us. So that was a $32 overcharged, and Tony gave her a five dollar bill to get back to us. After we brought it up on the receipt, she said that she was going to get the manager and that he would come out and talk to us. After 15 minutes, she came back and asked if Tony had come back out. He did not, so she said that she was going to go back and get him. another 10 minutes later, she brought out a second five dollar bill. I feel like Tony is a terrible manager, will not talk to customers when a valid concern is a risen, and forces the waitress to handle all scenarios. After 25 minutes after bringing up the concern, we finally left because Tony would not come out of the kitchen to talk to us. They added an undisclosed extra charge to our bill for "inflation." Our bill should have been $44 before tax but it was $60 for soup, salad, burger and a side of fries! -No drinks. I feel like the guy who chased us down and talked us into eating there knowingly set us up to be ripped off. We ended up getting refunded for the "inflation" fee by our crying waitress. Very cool concept, you get to pour your own beer! If you want beer you get a tap card in which you scan to pour your own! As you pour, it tells you the cost amount in the screen so you are aware of how much you are spending. it was nice to be able to try different types of beers. There were also cocktails and food available. The food was good, the steamed shrimp, pickles, onion rings, oysters, and wings were all good! The best part was the waitress, she was super friendly, attentive, and was very personable. She showed us how to use the tap system and was always readily available. This was a great experience and I definitely recommend this place! Most of the beers were good, there were a few duds and there were some that you would pour correctly, but there was a lot of foam, indicating the kegs were almost empty. I got the hand breaded chicken tenders for my picky 7 year old and he raves about them. They are more like chicken breast. Great locals spot and not supper crowded. Nice pour your own beer tap wall. I was very disappointed with the 18% service fee that was added to our bill that was not a gratuity. They said it was an inflation/Covid fee. Way too much to add without advising prior. Not a good experience, the food was just ok. the beer was not even that cold, it didn't even get any condensation after sitting for a couple of minutes like a cold beverage would in hot weather. Very deceptive once it comes to the tab, they don't bring you a receipt just a handheld register for payment. The general manager is an immoral man and I would not support his business with a single penny. My best friend works there (or did). She started right before the pandemic and worked for a week as a server. Then the restaurant switched to takeout only but would not lay off workers for them to qualify for unemployment. Not only that, when the governor restricted restaurants, it continued to operate stringing on the workers. When my friend applied for unemployment Tony, the general manager/head chef, lied and said she quit for a reason not even applicable to her life (probably so they wouldn't have to pay unemployment insurance). When she presented text messages proving otherwise he switched the date to the date after the last text and changed the reason she "quit." Then he switched it again saying she was fired. All 3 of these reasons were presented on the same phone call, clearly looking for a way to screw the employee over. read more

We asked to have mayo added to the burgers, the waitress told us "No, the chef won't do that." Um, what?
