Michael from ATT did a tremendous job restoring our service by replacing our modem, by checking all…read moreour mobile devices, and by connecting our printer wirelessly. What a change from Comcast! And all this was done through a Short Telephone call and service call in a few hours Bill

We chose U-Verse for our internet service when moving to Florida because it was new and faster than…read morethe free Comcast service we got with our HOA. We were requested to provide a new email address during installation. When we went to our email for the first time there were already lengthy disturbingly pornographic emails in our yet to be used account. (we had not given our address to anyone). These hurtful disgusting emails came on a daily basis for our then young teen to stomach. I phoned to explain the situation and asked for the email address to be deleted and replaced because the one we had was unusable. The assistant said it could not be deleted because it was the primary account. We solved the issue by setting up sub-accounts and never did get to use our main account. A few years later we were purchasing another property and phoned to enquire if U-Verse was available there. After several days of phoning and being switched to different departments and left holding on for hours we were told no it was not available. I went into my account online which had a record of large bill payments paid consistently on time and messaged if U-verse was available there. They said yes. Apart from that the U-verse internet functioned well.

Last year our condo association contracted with Fision by Hotwire Communications. Figured I wait…read moreuntil they work out all the bugs before I made the switch, which recently I finally took the plunge. Personally for me, it has been a great experience, (outside of first agent not actually not finalizing the order), the following agent and installation were great. Professional, knowledgeable friendly and courteous. The technician, Dwayne who did the installation was awesome. I had a list of questions for him when he arrived about the installation itself, wiring, service expectations, etc. and he answered all without a beat before getting started. Compared to Verizon Home5G erratic and slow internet speeds, their 100% Fiber is legit and great. The speed test before and after tells the story; Verizon Home5G 23.7 Mbps downloads / 17.2 Mbps uploads (forget what they advertise) to Fision by Hotwire 319 Mbps downloads / 375.5 Mbps uploads, really no comparison. So far, the internet service is stable and fast. Along with the rates, I should've switched sooner.

Used Hotwire's internet for a year through my building's free package. Internet was solid, quick…read moreinstall (about a week), few interruptions, worked fine for remote work. Can't speak to cable, barely used it. The problem came when I moved out and needed to return equipment. I contacted them by phone, chat, and email at least five times asking for a return label. Every time I was told it would arrive in 2 to 24 hours. It never did. Then I got charged $650 on my card for "unreturned equipment," with zero warning beforehand. When I complained, support just pasted a label into the chat, the same one I'd been begging for, sitting in their system the whole time. I'm returning the equipment now, but they're holding the charge until they get it back. No notice, no chance to fix it before they took my money. Feels like a way to squeeze extra fees out of customers who never even upgraded from the free package.
