Order a dozen bagels and you receive 15, the cost is $13.20 The bagels are fantastic, crispy, light and flavorful. 2 knocks: Cash only which in today's day and age doesn't make sense. I prefer more seasoning on everything bagels. The location is staffed with a friendly team. Ample off street parking. A nice selection of cream cheeses, salads, lox, and boars head cold cuts. Store was great for 30 years recently. Whoever took over doesn't understand how to run a business I ordered twice it's been going on quite a while and the orders couldn't have been more wrong. Bagels average at best and one step above grocery store bagels (yeah really). Bagel Masters in Red Bank much much better and worth the trip. No comparison between the two places. Inside is in need of an update in a major way, usually hot and muggy inside with little air circulation. Run down looking and dirty....place is gross especially for Rumson. Whenever I travel to Rumson stopping by Atlantic Bagel Company is a must. I always order the everything bagel with eggs, but others I've been with have enjoyed other options too. Pricing is reasonable, but they only accept cash which is a bummer given that is not always something I have with me. Ive been coming to get bagels here since Brooklyn bagels was there. Now I love the bagels at Atlantic bagel, however as of recently with new staff for the summer the quality and effort has been pretty crappy. The past few times i have ordered a toasted butter bagel, the butter has not been melted, just chunks of butter on my bagel which is pretty nasty. The last time i ordered a bagel to be toasted with butter, not only were there huge globs of unmelted butter, it was also not toasted. I really like this place so i hate to complain but if you hire new people for the summer make sure they all know the simplicity of toasting and buttering a bagel. read more
