The location on 655 Warner is simply the best in all regards. Used to work around the area and went here all the time. Started a new job right next to a different ATL and wow, they do not compare. A tray of fries can serve about 4 people, make sure to get them Cajun style. Kool aid always on tap, flavors seem to rotate. They also have tea and coke products. Love ATL wings, but my experience on 3/31 was not good. I pulled up at 8:45pm - store closes at 9. 2 customers walked in before me and were placing an order. The woman behind the counter interrupted the transaction before me to asked if I was there for to pick up a to go order. I said no, she rolled her eyes and shook her head (like a grandma disappointed in a child's behavior) and continued with the transaction. I just left. If ATL wings wants to close the doors at exactly 9:00pm, they should close at 8:45pm. Or, stop taking orders at 8:45. Post close hours means you take orders til 9:00pm. Everyone wants to go home when they are supposed to, I'm sorry most restaurants know they may have to cook until about 15 mins after close. That lady was just rude. read more

What we USUALLY enjoy about ATL is the freshness and the abundance of sauce. Today the wings tasted like they had been either sitting or double fried to recrisp- super super dry. I've been a few times now whenever the mood hits. They have very good wings when compared to the other wing specific chain nearby and the pizza joint in the same shopping center. I haven't explored the entire menu but what I like is the size of the wings, they are always cooked well (you can order regular or way over done like a lot of places), and they offer many sauce and rub options. The fries are really good too imo, but many may consider them overcooked. I'm more of a traditionalist and prefer Buffalo style most of the time, so the bad is that the Bleu Cheese dressing is some watered down commercially available version with no real flavor, and no celery sticks come with the wings. At the end of the day, really good wings and food for the price. Why 3 stars? They're chicken wings! I doubt a trained chef could produce a chicken wing worthy of 5 stars. Check them out. Edited to add that you can order all drums or all flats. One large order I placed came about 75% drums to my dissatisfaction. When I questioned them over email was told that if you don't order one or the other, they'll be random. Huh??? I've made my own wings for years and know the parts....drum, flat, tip. It only seems logical if you don't want all of one or the other that they would come equally split......as if the chickens were being broken down to prepare them.....that may be just me though.
