The last time I had Awesome wings in AZ I think Kurt Rambis was playing for the Phoenix Suns. I've come to expect very little from wing centric joints, until today!!! The clouds have parted, the sun is shining, and I have now found a place where I literally can't wait to get my next "wing fix". Was greeted at the counter by a girl who was attentive and knowledgeable about the product, I went with mild and Cajun bbq for the fam. We needed sustenance for the KC game today, and ate those wings down to the bone. The wings were meaty, moist, and the sauces and spice were on point. After growing fed up with my local Wingstop I had to find a new place for wings. Boy have I found one. If you are considering trying this place DO IT!! Their wings as well as customer service are excellent! They have many different flavors and also have Kool aide!!! After I took my first bite into my hot and fresh wing, a burst of juiciness, crispiness and the perfect blend of flavor immediately rushed my tastebuds. It was then I knew Wingstop could KISS MY ..... My cashier sealed the deal taking her time to go threw the menu describing the flavors and even let me try a sample! She was so patient and friendly she made my first time an absolute pleasure to have trusted this place.My only complaint is that the ranch is not as good as Wingstop. The best damn wings I've ever had. The ATL style dry rub is unique and absolutely delicious. There are many 'secrets' to this place, like cheaper wings on Tuesday, and cheaper boneless wings on Wednesday. If you want to experiment with different combinations of sauces and/or rubs, they are happy to oblige, just ask. If you like heat, try the ATL Spicy rub with the Toxic sauce. Just don't touch your eyes after handling. There's also a rumor about a 'widow' sauce, but it's only available by advance request, and only if they feel up to it. They aren't only about spice though; the sweet and tangy and teriyaki sauces are awesome. The blue cheese dressing is nice and packed with chunks of very creamy and flavorful cheese. They use jumbo roaster wings, so the drummies are almost the size of a fryer leg. Some reviews complain about rude service or high prices; try going when they aren't too busy. They do their best to satisfy demand but they will not compromise on quality to meet high demand. If you want wings for the super bowl or other major event, make sure to reserve ahead... they aren't magicians, just damn good wingmakers. read more
