There was even one point during the reception where she yelled at the bridal party for being too loud, then stormed off and started crying in her office. The beer/keg machine was not working, and nothing but foam was coming out - the bartenders were nice and kept apologizing, but the machine never got fixed- needless to say, all the money spent on alcohol went to waste, and they were not willing to go purchase can beer... so all we were offered was cheep $4 wine. The cheese was extremely old - hard as a rock... there was even a bug on one piece. The most disgusting thing was their chocolate fountain! I guess the chocolate had just been left in there from a previous wedding, so when the staff member went to turn it on to melt all the chocolate, we started dipping all the fruit - IT TASTED AWFUL! Come to find out, there were rotted bananas and strawberries at the bottom that had been dropped in at the last wedding - Did the owner offer to replace the chocolate ... OF COURSE NOT! They just took the machine away and from what I've heard, did not offer a refund and said that it was broken because of all the unsupervised kids that were using the machine. This establishment is very unprofessional - you can tell that the people who work here have never been in a wedding business before. I would not recommend this so called "event center" to anyone for any type of event.

No masks required no sanitizing the golf clubs but I carry wipes and the golf was outside so it was all good. Customer service was good..great actually. The lady at the counter was really patient and helpful. One thing I didn't like was the arcade games were super high. We had a $5 came card that was used up after two games. They've since simplified it within the 9 months that I have lived here, but it could be even more simpler. Second, the clientele are less than appeasing. I tend to cause like a sailor, but not in public. It gets old. Amenities: + cardio equipment on the top floor + free weights, plate loaded, and selectorized machines on the bottom floor + gym (the floor is lined for basketball, volleyball, pickleball, four-square & shuffleboard) + indoor track + lap pool + locker room + personal trainer available + racquetball courts (2 available... reservations also available) + splash pad + spa (for ages 13 years & up) + sports programs (adult & youth) + studio & wellness classes + turf (soccer, flag football, ultimate frisbee, & golf) + water slides (4' & taller) My girls have participated in the volleyball classes here which were okay, but not very competitive. Just this past weekend (5/6/2023) I took the to the splash area for the first time area. Even though I declined to swim, I was still charged admission ($4 for the entire day). My 8 & 9-year-olds were charged $3 apiece for entry. In the splash area which is completely indoors, there are two sets of bleachers and multiple individual lounge chairs and side tables scattered all around. Free parking.

Simple set up, we just went in and signed a waiver, no ID check or anything. The gym here has lots of equipment and all of it seemed to be working and in good condition. The bathrooms were pretty nice and kept pretty clean. The staff who helped us was nice. The gym had a lot of equipment that you don't commonly see such as the slants for squats and a donkey calf raise machine (not the sole purpose but made it work). Overall good experience and simple to get set up. Not sure the actual pricing, but for us it was perfect!

It's BYOB, which I'm wishing I'd known prior but next time I'll be bringing wine for the fun! $65 for the project may seem steep to some, but considering you're allotted 3 hours for the project completion (if needed), the expertise of the staff, and all the supplies, the price is certainly reasonable. There was another group there as well for a mom's night out, so it's an excellent spot for date night or fun with the girls. It's also a relatively spacious area. Our total group was 8 people, which was the smaller end of their usual. A class of 26 was scheduled for the next night, so big groups don't have to shy away from participating. They do ask you to book ~48 hours in advance so they can prepare your project's design so it's not an easy walk-in place to go for a fun time. I can't wait to return to make more beautiful decor to add to my home. If you have the opportunity to stop in, I highly recommend doing so.

The Cotton Court Lubbock has a unique, retro, "campy" vibe -- not one of a 4 star hotel. There is…read morevery minimal parking. We reserved a king room but were given a double full bed room instead. I didn't make a big deal if it so we were given breakfast vouchers for our trouble. This seemed generous until we saw we were charged an $18 mysterious fee. The room was adequate, unlike any other actual 4 star hotel I've stayed in. Unfortunately, about a hour after checking out, I realized I forgot my pillow and quilt at the hotel. I called as soon as I realized it to ask how much I owed for them to ship the items to me. Long story short, I was given the run around for 6 days. Every time I called, I was transferred to multiple people and typically to a ringing line that no one ever answered, I spoke to 9 different people, I left a message with housekeeping, I left my number twice with 2 different people, and I submitted an online request for someone to call me; only to finally be told my items were nowhere to be found. Essentially, they were thrown away and I was given the run around for almost a week. I cannot imagine if I had forgotten items that were of value to anyone else but me. Lackluster room. Inadequate parking. Abysmal customer service. This is not a 4 star hotel.

Magnets weren't strong enough to reveal hidden keys and it took some time away from our clock. Keys opened up more than one lock which confused us and we were asked by the employee on how we were able to get certain items ahead of time, Which led to more confusion and wasted more of our time thinking we did something right when we were focusing on the wrong things. It kinda ruined the experience at the end of the day but this place seems fun if everything worked properly.
