"Unprofessional and Uncomfortable Experience - Would Not Recommend" I would not recommend the Castle Event Center to anyone. Our experience was far from what we had hoped for, and it was incredibly frustrating. The owner provided us with multiple, different prices each time we contacted him, even when we met in person. He couldn't seem to keep his pricing straight, and it felt like he was just making things up as he went along. On top of that, when we asked if we could arrive 10 minutes early to set up, he told us he would charge an additional $150. He doesn't allow early access, so we had to rush to set everything up as soon as we arrived, which made the start of our event stressful and unpleasant. Things didn't improve on the day of the event. The owner stayed there throughout the party, making our family feel uncomfortable with his constant presence. To top it off, he had his German Shepherd running around, which made some of our guests nervous, It was completely inappropriate for a professional event space. While we were trying to enjoy our event and our family was eating, the owner was helping himself to the food, even though we had already paid for it. This just added to the lack of professionalism and respect. When it was time to close, the owner cut our event short by 20 minutes and interrupted our last dance. As we began cleaning up, he became increasingly rude to not just me but to our guests as well. Once again, the presence of his dog caused anxiety for the children. To make matters worse, we noticed throughout the event that he had cameras monitoring us. It felt invasive and uncomfortable to know we were being watched the entire time. On top of all this, his contract is poorly written we were forced to write two reviews to be able to receive even half of our deposit back, if we don't, we will not receive our deposit, I wouldn't be surprised if an excuse is made for us to not get our money back. All in all, the Castle Event Center is not a venue we will ever use again. It's incredibly hard to have a good time when the owner is hovering over you the whole time, making everything feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. read more

Rented this venue for my wifes surprise college graduation part and it was great. The owner was very helpful,understanding, and easy to work with. Had to change dates due to mothers day conflict and he changed no problem. The place was ready as he said it would be at the time we requested. plen of restrooms that where clean and accessible as well as table and chair. had a great time using the already set up kitchen for our catering guys to use, which made the dinner go so smooth. My husband and I selected the castle because it's one of a kind. We really wanted a memorable wedding at an affordable price. We had an outside wedding with an inside reception, chairs and tables were perfectly arranged, kitchen perfect for the caterers to do their thing. The (optional) in house dj was great!! I'm so happy we found this event center! The price was very affordable, especially compared to other options, which helped keep our wedding under budget. Went to a 6th Princess themed birthday party. It was amazing! The castle was the perfect place to have a royal birthday party!
