A proper response would've been "We are a bit tied up right now, but we can reach back out to you after the holiday is over." Not very professional for a business to respond this way to potential clients. Out of all the venues in Lubbock your response has to be the worst we've gotten so far.

I cancelled my membership only because I became pregnant and didn't want any wine when I couldn't drink. Yesterday we arrived just as a tour had left. A young man volunteered to help us try to catch up with the tour. He ended up having to give us our own tour and he did a fantastic job. The behind the scenes tour was informational. Llano is the biggest winery in Texas and I'm proud to say it was founded by 2 Tech professors. We all did a wine tasting with most of us opting to do the premium tasting. The pours were generous and of course the wine was good. I went home with a sauvignon blanc, voignier, and a port. I've got a couple of my Lubbock friends all but signed up for their wine club. After requesting another room, we quickly found that it didn't really matter because it still took 5 hours to cool our room. The thermostat is controlled by the hotel so if you want to sleep well stay somewhere else. Bed was very uncomfortable, pillows were lumpy, and toilet overflowed. Musty rooms. Hotel needs a major update. Emailed the front desk, with no response. Marriot should be embarrassed to be associated with these owners at this location. And the whole "I had to give them one star because zero stars wasn't an option" is so true in this instance.

A sound system, a full kitchen, the dance floor, all of the tables and chairs, etc. We took our photos out in the field in front of the castle with the beautiful Texas sky and sunset as our backdrop. And the "old world" motif inside the Castle worked perfectly with our wedding decor... And we loved the chandelier in the great hall with lights strung across the ceiling! It was the perfect romantic atmosphere for our celebration.
