This place is a little hard to find. But plenty of parking space!! It's decorated so nice and it's SO clean. I wish I had gotten more photos of everything, the place was HUGE and workers were very nice and attentive! The rooms for the groom and bride were spacious as well, if you're looking for a venue for an event, I would definitely recommend this place!

To tell the truth, I was surprised certain wedding attendees made it on time since it's so secluded. Lol. My cousin and his long time significant other finally recently got married here. It was perfect for their laidback lifestyles. The bride's mother - who is a friend of mine - and their family all enjoyed planning their event and working with the employees here. The ceremony took place outside at the gazebo. Guests found their seats on wooden benches. Soon after, the party started in the barn a short walk away... a few chandeliers, rustic interior, and beautiful decorations adorned the space. The restrooms were always very clean and tidy. The bartenders, provided by Horseshoe, were friendly and quick. Security was also provided by Horseshoe, but I was a bit taken aback by uniformed sheriff deputies. A proper response would've been "We are a bit tied up right now, but we can reach back out to you after the holiday is over." Not very professional for a business to respond this way to potential clients. Out of all the venues in Lubbock your response has to be the worst we've gotten so far.

After requesting another room, we quickly found that it didn't really matter because it still took 5 hours to cool our room. The thermostat is controlled by the hotel so if you want to sleep well stay somewhere else. Bed was very uncomfortable, pillows were lumpy, and toilet overflowed. Musty rooms. Hotel needs a major update. Emailed the front desk, with no response. Marriot should be embarrassed to be associated with these owners at this location. And the whole "I had to give them one star because zero stars wasn't an option" is so true in this instance.

The room was nicely decorated and other than a few loose threads where the carpet in the room met the threshold in the entry area the room was flawless. It had all the amenities one would want, a comfy big king size bed, a desk for my laptop, a nice big flat screen TV as well as the coffee maker and necessities for a nice hot mug to drink. The bathroom was large enough for both my wife and I to easily move around in and the big walk-in shower was a great spot to relax under a stream of warm water at the end of the day. There were plenty of towels, the only thing missing was tissues; perhaps the maid service just forgot to reload the box. Oh well, my wife always brings some for herself. The hotel is easy to find as long as you don't have an older GPS in the car like we do. It took us to the address on 50th Street but on the other side of the highway and it was only an empty dirt lot! My wife used her iPhone to guide us correctly so watch out for that. We didn't have much interaction with the hotel staff other than at check in but when we returned from dinner the ladies behind the counter greeted us and welcomed us back. We would stay here again based on this visit.

The oasis behind The Willows is gorgeous. There's a water feature, beautiful willow trees and so much more. This area is the perfect setting for pictures. The food was fabulous. I'm already married, but if I wasn't I would want to hold my wedding and reception here. They also have polished conference spaces that would hold plenty of people. I'm sure you would have to book way ahead to get on their list, because of it's growing and glowing reputation, but I would say that it would be worth it. It's so beautiful and doesn't look like typical Lubbock event centers. Anyway, I'm glad they are here!
