This place is a little hard to find. But plenty of parking space!! It's decorated so nice and it's SO clean. I wish I had gotten more photos of everything, the place was HUGE and workers were very nice and attentive! The rooms for the groom and bride were spacious as well, if you're looking for a venue for an event, I would definitely recommend this place!

To tell the truth, I was surprised certain wedding attendees made it on time since it's so secluded. Lol. My cousin and his long time significant other finally recently got married here. It was perfect for their laidback lifestyles. The bride's mother - who is a friend of mine - and their family all enjoyed planning their event and working with the employees here. The ceremony took place outside at the gazebo. Guests found their seats on wooden benches. Soon after, the party started in the barn a short walk away... a few chandeliers, rustic interior, and beautiful decorations adorned the space. The restrooms were always very clean and tidy. The bartenders, provided by Horseshoe, were friendly and quick. Security was also provided by Horseshoe, but I was a bit taken aback by uniformed sheriff deputies. A proper response would've been "We are a bit tied up right now, but we can reach back out to you after the holiday is over." Not very professional for a business to respond this way to potential clients. Out of all the venues in Lubbock your response has to be the worst we've gotten so far.

I rented the place for 150 guests but was told 2 months before my wedding when I sat down with one of the coordinators, that they could only seat 130 comfortably.... 2. They claim they are apart of the church and the renting of the venue supports their expenses HOWEVER I caught them lying about this multiple times and I have text proof of them attempting to change my chairs and back ground becuase they "belonged to the church which was completely seperate from the venue" but when I first toured the sales pitch was that the espenses help the church and mission expenses?? 3. Invoice issues, I have an accounting background and I kept noting that my invoices were increasing over time as if it was accumulating interest, then I noticed a "credit card fee" that kept fluxating and get this, it wasnt a third party charging the sketchy fee it was them manually editing the invoice. AND my payments were being made in cash so why was this fee on there in the first place? 4. They kept my deposit because they found a vape, and vaping is against their rules. When I asked for a picture they blocked me and then cashed my $1000 check. Oh and they tried using my wedding as content and they blocked me on social media as well LOL TRASH PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. NOT TO MENTION THE CLEANLINESS OF THIS PLACE, TOILETS NOT WORKING, OVERGFLOWING TRASH CANS, SMALL PARKING LOT ( ANOTHER THING WE WERE LIED TO ABOUT, THEY TOLD US BY THE TIME WE HAD OUR WEDDING THE PARKING LOT WOULD BE EXTENDED, THAT WAS A LIE) THE HORRIBLE HVAC SYSTEM THEY HAVE, THE CLUELESS OWNER AND STAFF MEMBER THAT WAS LEFT AS A VENUE COORDINATOR COULD NOT EVEN PULL BACK BLINDS, SECURITY HAD TO HELP CAUSING ME TO GO DOWN THE ISLE AT THE WRONG TIME. John could not have been more professional, accommodating and helpful as I described what I was looking for and he handled everything so wonderfully and graciously. I was very impressed with the venue upon arrival and the setup was just as beautiful as described to me and super clean! Our reserved space was very spacious with the tables laid out and still room to walk around without bumping into others. We had a buffet setup in the hallway so attendees were also able to view the beautiful artwork displayed along the foyer. Very nice! John also made sure to check on us to ensure all was well. That was nice and I was able to relax without having to run around for last minute fixes. Our time here was worth every penny and I will make sure to reach out to this venue first and recommend others to book their events with John's help. You will not be disappointed.

If I had the choice of picking this place to cater, I would choose any other place. This catering company is not recommended for any event. Poor quality food and customer service.

I have eaten at events twice now that were catered by PJ's. The first time, the meat was so tough…read morethat it broke the plasticware that they provided. My husband had to take out his large pocketknife to cut his meat. Other men saw him do that and also got out their pocketknives. The food was otherwise ok, but for an event that large, lining up in different lines for the main dishes, then desserts, then teas was not efficient. We attended a second large event catered by them and while the beef was tender, the chicken was stringy and so dry, it was also very hard to cut and chew. It was definitely overcooked. The vegetables were very good, but there was too little food and the tea was not in the table. It would have been do much better to have pitchers in the tables. Instead, guests had to continually go to the side tables, then carry glasses of tea through the crowds. Overall, it was not a great experience, especially when we had better food and experiences from other caterers in Lubbock.
