John could not have been more professional, accommodating and helpful as I described what I was looking for and he handled everything so wonderfully and graciously. I was very impressed with the venue upon arrival and the setup was just as beautiful as described to me and super clean! Our reserved space was very spacious with the tables laid out and still room to walk around without bumping into others. We had a buffet setup in the hallway so attendees were also able to view the beautiful artwork displayed along the foyer. Very nice! John also made sure to check on us to ensure all was well. That was nice and I was able to relax without having to run around for last minute fixes. Our time here was worth every penny and I will make sure to reach out to this venue first and recommend others to book their events with John's help. You will not be disappointed.

As you walk thru out there the venue you'll see several display cases with various memorabilia from the city of Lubbock. The hall where the wedding reception took place was quite lovely, not too plain but not too fancy, however about an hr into the reception they ran out of clean plates and drinking glasses. I rented the place for 150 guests but was told 2 months before my wedding when I sat down with one of the coordinators, that they could only seat 130 comfortably.... 2. They claim they are apart of the church and the renting of the venue supports their expenses HOWEVER I caught them lying about this multiple times and I have text proof of them attempting to change my chairs and back ground becuase they "belonged to the church which was completely seperate from the venue" but when I first toured the sales pitch was that the espenses help the church and mission expenses?? 3. Invoice issues, I have an accounting background and I kept noting that my invoices were increasing over time as if it was accumulating interest, then I noticed a "credit card fee" that kept fluxating and get this, it wasnt a third party charging the sketchy fee it was them manually editing the invoice. AND my payments were being made in cash so why was this fee on there in the first place? 4. They kept my deposit because they found a vape, and vaping is against their rules. When I asked for a picture they blocked me and then cashed my $1000 check. Oh and they tried using my wedding as content and they blocked me on social media as well LOL TRASH PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. NOT TO MENTION THE CLEANLINESS OF THIS PLACE, TOILETS NOT WORKING, OVERGFLOWING TRASH CANS, SMALL PARKING LOT ( ANOTHER THING WE WERE LIED TO ABOUT, THEY TOLD US BY THE TIME WE HAD OUR WEDDING THE PARKING LOT WOULD BE EXTENDED, THAT WAS A LIE) THE HORRIBLE HVAC SYSTEM THEY HAVE, THE CLUELESS OWNER AND STAFF MEMBER THAT WAS LEFT AS A VENUE COORDINATOR COULD NOT EVEN PULL BACK BLINDS, SECURITY HAD TO HELP CAUSING ME TO GO DOWN THE ISLE AT THE WRONG TIME. But they didn't stop at a good time- they push the experience to new levels. They keep adding new things for kids like updating the bounce warehouse that is huge or new rides and play town with jungle gyms. One of the best things they have done is expand an arcade called the Arcave! It would have been easy to have a normal room for video games ... but they made a themed land with build your own adventure with special effects, music and interactive rooms. To tell the truth, I was surprised certain wedding attendees made it on time since it's so secluded. Lol. My cousin and his long time significant other finally recently got married here. It was perfect for their laidback lifestyles. The bride's mother - who is a friend of mine - and their family all enjoyed planning their event and working with the employees here. The ceremony took place outside at the gazebo. Guests found their seats on wooden benches. Soon after, the party started in the barn a short walk away... a few chandeliers, rustic interior, and beautiful decorations adorned the space. The restrooms were always very clean and tidy. The bartenders, provided by Horseshoe, were friendly and quick. Security was also provided by Horseshoe, but I was a bit taken aback by uniformed sheriff deputies. Nonetheless, no one got kicked out or arrested, not even my rowdy husband. Overall, this is a charming place for a wedding venue or a special event. Highly recommended. '18 Challenge #28
