They had to start the program while half the people were still in line so that the schedule for the whole night wouldn't be thrown off. They even made a big deal about forming two lines and going down both sides of the table, but Chuck had to mete out the burnt beef, weird tortillas, and nameless sausage one person at a time. Then, after serving yourself beans, corn, and potatoes, the peach cobbler was pre-portioned in servings of about three tablespoons! And it was cold. Worst "Texas BBQ" I have ever had, even compared to other event centers. Staff came through while the kids were doing awards and took plates, even though some of them had barely started eating. I will never recommend 4BarK as a location for an organizational event. Two stars because none of the staff was actively rude. P.S. The restrooms are labeled as "Stables" and are about that nice - gentlemen might as well go urinate on the barn wall out back.

From what I personally witnessed, there was very little coordination from the venue. When the bridal party arrived, decorations had not been set up, so they had to scramble to finish everything themselves just before guests began arriving. During the ceremony, the coordinator failed to cue the bride to walk down the aisle. She was dressed casually in jeans and a T-shirt and appeared to spend much of the event on her phone. Meanwhile, the DJ and photographer--who were not Bella Vie employees--were directing the wedding party and keeping the ceremony moving. After the ceremony, the reception space still wasn't ready. Chairs hadn't been cleared and tables weren't set up, so the groom ended up moving furniture himself while guests waited. Instead of celebrating with my best friend, I spent much of the evening helping coordinate events because no one else seemed to be doing it. I personally had to ask the DJ to announce the couple's first dance after realizing it had been completely missed. I am a close friend of the bride- myself and another good friend of the bride had to step in to organize the cake cutting and the send-off. What should have been one of the happiest days of my friend's life turned into an evening of constant problem-solving. She didn't even get the chance to sit down and enjoy her meal or eat a piece of her own wedding cake with her new husband because she was busy taking pictures with everyone and constantly being pulled everywhere to visit with her guests- nothing was being handled by the Bella Vie staff. The venue's sound system was another major disappointment. I couldn't understand a single word the officiant said during the ceremony because the audio quality was so poor. As a guest, I expected the venue coordinator to take charge of the timeline and logistics so the couple and their loved ones could simply enjoy the day. Instead, those responsibilities fell to the bridal party, friends, and the DJ/photographer. That is not what a couple should experience after paying for a venue that includes coordination. Based on what I witnessed, I would not recommend Bella Vie to couples looking for a well-coordinated wedding day.

I cancelled my membership only because I became pregnant and didn't want any wine when I couldn't drink. Yesterday we arrived just as a tour had left. A young man volunteered to help us try to catch up with the tour. He ended up having to give us our own tour and he did a fantastic job. The behind the scenes tour was informational. Llano is the biggest winery in Texas and I'm proud to say it was founded by 2 Tech professors. We all did a wine tasting with most of us opting to do the premium tasting. The pours were generous and of course the wine was good. I went home with a sauvignon blanc, voignier, and a port. I've got a couple of my Lubbock friends all but signed up for their wine club.
