This office (like most) has a cancellation policy that requires payment for missed appointments and I feel certain that an hour late would constitute a missed appointment. Do doctors not understand that their patients time is every bit as valuable as theirs. When I asked why the extensive delay, I was told "this IS a doctor's office!"

While explaining to the dr. why I was there, he kept using the hand gesture that we understand to mean hurry up & finish talking. Dismissive & rude. I'd fallen off a low step stool & twisted my knee. Couldn't walk on that leg for 2 weeks. Constant weakness & pain for months. My podiatrist recommended this dr. so I had hoped to get a thoughtful diagnosis & treatment or plan. I was told I have arthritis, "maybe" some torn ligaments, & need a new knee, that I need to lose a lot of weight before I can safely have surgery, & after asking TWICE for a shot to alleviate the pain, I did get one but a week & a half later I called the office for a second shot where the pain actually radiated from (other side of knee), I was told NO, to wait for 4 weeks for the shot to work (WHAT???), & to have a shot every 3 months until I get the knee surgery. I told the office woman that the doctor could've told me this when I was in there...no reply. This dr uncommunicative, disinterested, in a 'hurry.' My knee hurts 9-10 on pain scale still & I will definitely be looking for a dr who not only treats (sort of) medical issues but also sees patients as sentient beings who deserve respect & feel real pain. Maybe 2 stars are too many./Update: I went to another orthopedic surgeon for a second & much more thorough opinion I trust. Turns out I have arthritis AND bursitis in both knees, will have physical therapy for a while, only need to lose less than half of what this dr said to have knee surgery, still needed, still in pain. The bursitis is hereditary & the cause of pain. A good doctor really is important. Oh, & the new doc listened to me first because he learned things needed to know, gave me a thorough exam.

I have never been treated poorly, never have had to wait very long, longest would be 10 minutes, and I love love love the patient portal. Whoever is in charge of the portal, always gets back to me within 24 hours, sometimes that very day. It is a great way to connect with your doctor and inform them of changes or concerns (not urgent concerns of course), instead of having to remember to tell my doctor everything during my appointment. I am confident that I will receive the same care that I always have with whomever I choose. During my past care here, I have never had the feeling the office over books patients. Dr. Spitler always had time for me, I never felt like she was rushing me out. I hope to find the same care in the doctors that are here at the clinic now. Technically, they are state of the art. Just as importantly, they are truly patient-centered, caring, sensitive to patient's emotions. After several visits my 18 month old is happily walking and running EVERYWHERE. Her therapist Jen was so great with her, and it was really about gently working to strengthen her wobbly little chicken legs and building her confidence to take steps on her own. They have lots of toys, padded mats, and various tips and tricks for the kiddos to get them moving around in a low stress environment. Very grateful for the time they spent each week working with her, they always had a smile even when my toddlers stubborn wailing probably scared off half their clientele lol.

My care here has been therapy for a dislocation for my elbow. I feel I get the utmost thorough treatment. They use ultrasonic treatment, heat therapy, exercise, and massage.
