Technician Mike is knowledgable on Toyota. He told me upfront that my new 2013 Corolla doesn't need to change its oil till 10k, being honest to his customer. Meanwhile on the other hands an old mechanic from another tries to rip off from his customer by saying u should do the oil change at ur 6k. Big plus for Mike in ATC. read more

I started taking my 1996 Lexus LS400 to ATC in 2010 when I bought it with 105,000 miles. I am in the car business and work for a Toyota dealer. My nephew has my old 1998 Lexus GS400 with about 130K miles. When his 'Check Engine' warning illuminated, he visited a local shop and was told that he had to replace one or both catalytic converters! I suggested that the mechanic was getting senile and didn't know anything about the Lexus Emission System. Through research on Yelp, I found ATC and called Hami. What a breath of fresh air to talk with a mechanic who was not only knowledgeable but honest. He even suggested a DIY procedure for checking the most likely culprit, a leaking vacuum hose. At my insistence, my nephew drove over to ATC. A half-hour and $45 later, the suspected hose was replaced! Contrast this with a 'sight unseen' "guesstimate" of $165 by Santa Monica Lexus, JUST FOR MAKING AN ESTIMATE. Hami is one nice guy and not a money grubber. If I need any work other than a routine oil change, I will take my 2006 GS430 to ATC (as will the owner and manager of Japan Auto Collision). read more

This guy was the most honest mechanic I have ever been to. He never tried to push any additional services or unnecessary repairs. I was even offered a loaner car for the day while my car was being repaired. I would highly recommend this shop. In addition, this place uses nothing but genuine Toyota/Lexus parts. BEWARE my fellow Yelpers! I found ATC through a coworker, and decided to Yelp this place. I saw the great reviews, so I went in to get my car (Toyota) checked. I am really not sure why there are so many good reviews about Hami. Hami seemed sweet and honest at first glance, and I thought that he was a very nice and gentle person until he started getting short-tempered when I started to ask more questions regarding the parts that my car needed. He then stated: "Why did you bring your car to me when you don't trust me?" Wow. Excuse me, I do not know you and only came to the shop from a referral through a coworker. In addition, he is very good at "talking" and "selling," if you know what I mean (like a car salesman). He knows how to talk to people to win them over, and I believe that is why he has so many good reviews. All in all, I am so glad I didn't get work done from him because he was going to charge me way over. I got all the parts and a family friend did the job for me in 2 hours for $260, when this "nice and honest" man was going to charge me over $800!!!! Unbelievable! Will never refer anyone here. I found ATC by using Yelp last summer (2011) after starting a new job in Diamond Bar, driving from Long Beach every day. I needed a reliable auto repair shop close to my job (a 5 minute walk - yea!!!) and what a gem it was to find Hami. I read the Yelp reviews and took a chance. I liked him immediately and found he was as honest and reputable as other customers had related. As a single woman I am still, always afraid of being "ripped off" by unscrupulous mechanics. Finding Hami was a life saver. Fair on his estimates and actual costs and took care of my 2001 Lexus every time. I had regular oil changes and some major work done while using his shop. Unfortunately I am no longer working in the area (but thank goodness because the drive was killing me and my car - lol) but will miss the exceptional auto care my car received. I discovered ATC by browsing "Scion repair" on yelp. Hami was the gentleman who handled my transaction. The walls of his waiting room are adorned with "thank you" cards from his customers. He was very professional and my experience was excellent there. Things that impressed me about the shop included the level of care and work put into my car and also how well they treat their customers. Hami was willing to walk me through any repairs he did. I also really appreciated the fact that his team met the deadlines they set. I told him I needed the car the next day, and my car was ready. My clutch feels great now. It even feels like it has more bite than when it did back when it was brand new. I'm really glad I found a good repair shop that I'm comfortable bringing my car to. I'll definitely be back and I'll also let my friends and family know about his excellent shop! read more

I take my 2010 Lexus IS250 for major service. Hami is helpful and honest. They use original parts for Toyota & Lexus. They are a bit less than the dealer but for major service it's quite a difference. I recommend this auto shop if you own a Toyota or Lexus. read more

After taking it to Longo Lexus, they did in fact inform me there was indeed an oil leak, but it was the oil cooler line. What do you know, it was done at no charge because it is recalled. The RX 350's have a very well known issue with the oil cooler line. The guy at ATC told me he checked and there was no recalls. I find it impossible he didnt know about the oil cooler line problem. Again, thanks for informing me about the leak, but I am dissapointed that he didnt tell me about the recall. read more

I have been a customer of ATC since 1996. Hami is very honest in his dealings, service and repairs. He is very accomodating. He will inform you the cause and the fix of the problems. I considered him my personal mechanic that is why, I always buy a Toyota at least I know that I can always rely on somebody to service my car.
