If you're not Korean I would not recommend going here. The guy there is rude unless you're Korean. At the time f service he charged me double what he told me over the phone. I called the shop prior to going and gave him the complete details of the vehicle, year, make model and trim. He tells me that he doesn't see the car when he quoted me first. He's a mechanic and he should know the amount of work and the vehicle. It's a Toyota!! Nothing unusual! He also promised that it will be done at noon. I came to check at 3 pm and they barely brought my car in to the bay! He then tried to tell me it won't be done till the next day when I told him when I dropped it off at 8 am that I need the car done before end of day as I need the car early the next day. Again, he worked on a Korean customer's car before mine when I was there first and the other car wasn't even there when I left. Oh and he spilled power steering fluid all over and tried to spray brake cleaner to rinse it off. Left a big mess in the engine bay and power steering fluid all over! Will never come to this shop again!!! Stay away! read more

I totaled my 2003 Toyota Corolla nearby in Diamond Bar with no collision coverage so I had to pay for the repairs out of pocket or spend the time hunting for a used car that I would never fully know the history of. I found this place on Yelp & read the few but good reviews & figured it was worth a shot. I towed my car there & Mr. Choi gave me an estimate (for free) of about $2300 to fix everything and $1800-1900 without the paint (because I asked). Here's what was damaged: A/C Condenser Radiator Radiator Fan Grill Bumper Left Headlight Fender Windshield Water Tank Hood Radiator Tank Radiator Support I went ahead & got it painted & paid the $2300. He wanted to change my other headlight so it would match with the brand new one cause it looked really awkward with one new & one so worn/fogged up but I told him not to & that I need to save as much as possible. He was real cool about it. He wasn't pushy, in a rush, or trying too hard to make $. He will take the time to show you everything & explain what parts need to be fixed & why. He got it done within a reasonable amount of time (within a week). He even changed the Air Filter & Oil for free because I paid cash. The car looks brand new & correctly assembled in the sections I damaged (I put up some before & after pics). It's been a little more than a month now & everything is working great. Anyway, this place looks very small & humble but the work is of great quality & Mr. Choi is someone you can work with, talk to & trust to get a fair deal. Great shop, very honest owner and very good prices on repairs. Just bare with the old guy if he seems to be busy (it's kind of like a one man 2 man show there) or a little slow. He's a straight up guy so he'll tell you like it is. I came to this shop for my my service engine light however I knew what was wrong with my car because auto shops I've gone before kept telling me it was MAD sensor which I replaced at a prior auto shop, but the light was still on so I came here and they told me it was the same issue and I explained I already got it replaced, but insisted that was what was wrong with my car, so I spent money again to get it replaced and after my light did turn off but after a week my engine light came on again and the symptoms of stalling, jerking and hesitation came back. I finally decided to take my car to the dealership and physically showed me that I had a tear in the tube that was next to the MAF and that the MAD was fine it was just the tube. So I'm just upset because they didn't inspect my car instead they used used the reader and used that to decide what was wrong with my car instead of actually inspecting it. So $260 out the window Next time I encourage them to actually inspect the car, because the tear in the tube was very noticeable read more

This place has been my family's main auto shop because they have never tried to have us pay extra money to do unnecessary repairs. They pretty much find out what exactly is the problem. For example, one time my car will not start so I had to call AAA to get my car towed and they recommended a place to me since I will be able to get 10% off. But that shop told me that I was going to most likely pay 1500 for repairs, labor, and parts. So I decided to give this place a call this it is my usual auto shop and turns out that my fuel pipe was clogged and just needed to be power washed. read more
