Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT hire this company. They're dishonest and either have NO moving/packing experience or they simply don't care. They treated my belongings with such disregard; it's heartbreaking. They took things apart and wouldn't put them back together (told me to go to Home Depot, get a tool and do it myself), they took the cord for my TV, TV doesn't work without a cord. This company caused me so much more work that they "saved" me, not to mention stress. All of these things just say THEY REALLY DON'T CARE. They also pulled a common shyster moving company trick: load the truck, then hike the price by 30%. When giving me my estimate, Shay, "At Your Service Moving & Storage" looked through my entire 2 bedroom apartment (1200 sq ft) I also told him I had about 20 boxes in storage: I actually had 25 boxes in storage (5 extra boxes). There were 2 bathroom rugs under a bed: 2'x3' and a tray: 16"x24". Because of my 5 extra boxes and the bathroom rugs, he insisted I pay them over $2400 extra, because I had "so much extra stuff". Now, all of my things are truck, what choice do I have? Also, they scratched my front door, I had to pay $80 in labor and $33 for paint to have it repaired. Shay said he would take care of it...nothing. I can honestly say I am disgusted by the way this company has treated me. Take my warning seriously, I have moved several times and cross country twice: I've NEVER had my belongings mishandled in such a way and I've NEVER been cheated in such a way. You say you sent claim forms, That's just another lie, ROBERT. No claim forms were ever received. Your man did NOT put together all of my furniture, he told me to go to Home Depot and purchase the tool to do it myself. Also, the men hired by your man on the unloading end told me all of my things could have been put in a 15 foot truck (he is a professional mover). When my things were in your truck, they weren't packed. They were loosely placed in the truck: I believe purposely, so that you can say my things take more space. YOUR COMPANY IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. No claim forms, no furniture reassembly, we're not talking little scratches: we're talking complete destruction. Go ahead, belittle my claims. You have NO INTENTION of taking care of my door that your men marred (even though you said you would), you have NO INTENTION of sending insurance forms. The job has been completed for 2 weeks. Service requested was for a long distance move. The two men arrived in a Penske truck, no company logo shirts, wearing flip flops. They did not have adequate men to move my hot tub which was on the inventory list given to them - had to hustle up lunch time workers from Home Depot ( who actually knew how to move things). All that to say my belongings were picked up on June 18th. Only to be brought to Some horrible run down warehouse until they could figure out "who" would get it moved the rest of the way to Maine. Never being completely transparent about any of this I was given story after story after story as to when and where my things were. On the promised date of 7/10/24 nothing appeared. Only until I sent word that I was on my way to begin legal proceedings did I hear that a "third party" 18 wheeler transporter was a few days away. Needless to say the $9000.00 cost was not what I would consider good value. I only leave this one star as it is required to write this review. Find a more professional company that presents themselves and cares. Not AT YOUR SERVICE . They do not have their own cross county trucks, or the ability to Manage one's moving needs. read more

Absolutely Amazing!!! 12 yrs ago I hired a well known local company to move me. I paid them a down payment, they loaded up all my belongings on their truck and then informed me it would be an additional $800! I refused so they unloaded all my items on the curb. It was a horrible experience for me. This weekend. My son had Dewy and his crew move him locally and everything went so smooth! These guys are professional, they work hard, and they treat the blongings as if it was their own. Dewy quoted my son a price and stuck to it. "No more or no less" and no additional hidden fees. I've moved many times in my life, and this one was a challenge, in that I had to move everything into storage for several weeks and then get it out and moved into the new place. Dewey, Candice, and team were awesome - Dewey came to my house to assess my needs and provide a quote. When the team showed up for the move, they were all professional - and just as important to me, they were kind. They treated me and each other with respect - so nice to see them work so well together. I had the same experience with the move-in - they showed up, got it all done, and were kind in the process. A very unprofessional company. I would not use them. We scheduled a representative to come to our home to give us an estimate for storage. We were told they would come between 10:00 and 12:00, and they would call the day before or the morning before to give us a more exact time. At 11am no one had arrived or called us. We called the company and were told, "our computer calendar is broken." The last time I heard that excuse was 1990! The woman who spoke to us also said that she could reschedule for the same afternoon or the next day. She had to call the estimator who was already out on a call. Interesting, their calendar was working for him to make an earlier call! Nevertheless, we agreed to reschedule the same afternoon, and we were told they would call us back with a more specific time. they just walked off my job! They have a truck load of my stuff and they're putting in in storage! They won't tell me where it sis so I'm calling the POLICE! Dewey the owner has Covid and the crew including his wife was all going to show up the next day anyway! I said not without negative tests. Then his wife Candice is pissed because Dewey underestimated the number of boxes needed for my clothes etc etc and I'm paying for 5 big guys but instead I have 2 guys, a very strong woman and Candice , Dewey's wife, who's telling me "these nails don't belong on a moving job they belong in an office, and with my back I'm not allowed to move anything". Dewey and his crew showed up to move an absolute disaster of an apartment into a Uhaul I had rented for the tenant. It was a disaster move from the beginning and I had to postpone it for 3 days. Dewey guaranteed me they'd get it done as long as I didn't back out. They packed as much stuff in as they could in a very timely manner, and half of it was done in a rainstorm. They also came back to help me lift the Uhaul onto my hitch. They deserved more than I, personally, could give them at the time. Highly recommend them for all needs moving. read more

It Was A Fight To Keep My Belongings Safe and the Price Changed 3 Times!!!! The owner yelled at me. The movers who took the stuff out I think goes by Shorty he was a compete gentleman he was just trying to inform me why the price changed. My mom and I knew it was a rip-off, but it is what it is. I had to sort my mom out and talk to her. This guy apologized for the owner who yelled at me to shut up and threatened to lock my stuff in storage. Shorty completely sympathized but was like this is the job I gotta do it this way and you have to accept it or not. I would hire that guy any day, but not Dewey. The movers who moved it in charged me an extra 150 dollars after the owner told me their would be no more charges. Then the movers who moved it in told me I needed to send it to them on Zeale not Dewey and at first didn't want to accept a money order. Dewey from the jump told me it was all his guys doing the move when it turns out the people moving it into storage where independent contractors not a part of his company. The man started flirting with another woman at the storage facility. I could tell it made her uneasy, and I went to talk to her and apologize because this mover was so far out of line. Dewey doesn't give a shit who he hires. He doesn't give a shit how your treated. I would say the guy they called Shorty if he had his own company I'd hire him anytime. I would suggest you stay away from this company and here is why; they used an inordinate amount of packing paper which took hours for me to wade through for example a 2" square brooch was wrapped in a piece of paper measuring approximately 30" x 36", with this I was diligent in opening every piece of wadded paper. Some boxes were labeled, most were not. After all boxes were emptied 7 pairs of shoes were missing (how do you lose that many shoes). I emailed Dewey regarding this, he never answered. Both PODS had doors that were stuck and they worked carefully and expeditiously to get them open without damaging any of my belongings. They were able to come with a week notice and were able to come earlier than originally planned in the day when I was able to get off work earlier. They were very efficient and careful with all my belongings which I very much appreciated. We did run short on time so they did not stay to help with getting some of my items. put together that I would have liked, but everything they did do was done carefully and professionally. Things that were broken (interstate move and stored for a few months) were not packed correctly and recommended to take inventory for damages. Appreciate the recommendation. Dewy's crew moved us from our Black Hawk home to a PODS storage unit in Longmont. Upon arrival at the PODS place we were told by the PODS people, that we couldn't load our POD until the next day. We were not happy. Dewy stored our stuff overnight and came back with his crew the next morning to load the PODS. Not only were they flexible in being able to store our stuff overnight, but they packed that PODS so well that we were able to get it all into one POD instead of two. They were efficient, friendly and took great care with our things! They were priced fairly and saved us money by packing so efficiently. We contacted company in an emergency situation. We had a fire at one of our apartments and 3 tenants had to move out of their apartments. We decided to have a company come in and pack up their items and store them in the community room in our building while the restoration crew was working in their apartments, and until we could locate alternative housing for them. We were contacted by several movers, but these folks went the extra mile to secure our business by coming personally to our building to assess the 3 apartments that we needed to get packed up and moved. This building is an apartment complex that houses people who are either over the age of 62 or disabled. 1 of the tenants to be moved is 79 years old, 1 is in a wheelchair and the other is disabled. The positive: they showed up ready to work and they worked very hard and did an excellent job of packing, boxing, securing, labeling and moving all items into the community room. The negative: They charged over $5,000 for all 3 1-bedroom apartments, even though the items did not have to be moved off-site, no truck required, etc. But we were in a rushed situation, trying to get these tenants taken care of, so we accepted their proposal. 2nd negative: halfway through the job, they stated that they would need to hire an additional person to get the job done by the time we needed it. We refused this and told them that if they couldn't get everything done by the agreed-upon day at the agreed-upon time at the agreed-upon rate, we would finish it ourselves. They ended up getting it all done in the specified time-frame with the same number of workers we originally agreed to. Seemed like a ploy to charge more money, even though it wasn't necessary. The most recent negative: Even though we were very clear before the work started that we would have to submit their invoice to our corporate office in Minnesota and have a check sent to them, and they agreed to this, once the work was done, they wanted payment immediately. They stated that they had been "burned in the past". We were very clear as to our situation, and we assured them we are a reputable company who would pay as agreed. And we signed a contract with them, so we couldn't renege on the deal. They still asked for and received $1,000 in a credit card payment. We immediately submitted their invoice for the remaining amount due to our corporate office in Minnesota and asked to put a rush on the payment. We let the company know it could take a week to 2 weeks for the invoice to be processed and payment sent from Minnesota to Denver. They are now hounding us for the rest of the payment, though it has barely been a week since we submitted the invoice. They seem a little desperate for money... we understand that they need to get paid in order to stay in business, but we were clear from the get-go as to how this would all be handled. Final opinion: They were proactive in securing our business. They showed up and worked very hard and did a very good job with our residents' belongings. They should not have tried to add anything to the proposal they made in the middle of the work just to make a little more money. We were transparent in how the payment would work, and they agreed. We signed a contract. But as soon as the work was done, they began "hounding us" for the payment. read more
