Before I could even get ahold of him, she had already found the information I needed and had me on my way. Later, I couldn't figure out how to properly secure one of the units, so I called the office. Andrea promptly came out to the unit and happily showed me what to do. The manager, Megan, came by as I was clearing out the unit and stopped to talk to me. Megan pretended she was not the manager as she was watching watch I was pulling out of the unit which was thousands of dollars worth of tools. I told her I was going to need some more time, just a few hours, to clear everything out of unit. She said I would have to talk to the manager in the morning. When I arrived the next morning, the guy working there was not manager and told me Megan was the manager and she ordered me to be locked out and also said she had called someone to pick everything up. I was suppose to have 72 hours to clear everything out. I signed the papers with them 68 hours ago.

Only drawback: - They shrink wrapped all the big/major items (i.e. mattresses, wooden bookshelf, antique desk, dresser, etc.). I'm used to packers putting mattresses in a mattress cover and wrapping the other items in a moving blanket and THEN wrapping it in shrink wrap, but it was a short move (17 mins across town) and all of our things arrived safe and sound with no damage, so I won't complain.

Notable perks I didn't get when I was at my previous 2 storage units: -24/7 access (this does cost extra but totally worth it to me) -Forklift driver on staff who is very nice and helpful -Free carts and pallet jacks to use. Most of the pallet jacks are broken, but some aren't and they're free so... -Climate controlled, indoor space so you and your stuff won't freeze -They'll send and receive packages for tenants -Drive-in ramp for the public area and truck docks for commercial side -Free Wifi, though it's not always available inside the metal units / far from the office I'm not knocking public storage - they were nice and straightforward, but I'm also really glad I moved to DSS.
