Everyone was so welcoming and took the time to get to know my baby girl in way that I haven't seen from most groomers, they took the effort to get to know if she was comfortable settling in and reassured me of their familiarity :) Was very thankful to get updates on her and getting to know her temperament with grooming in general. Will definitely be returning again soon!

He was so excited to see me that I didn't stop to even look him over before paying and leaving. They did an ok job. He is large and longhaired, and I could tell whoever did him must have gotten tired because it was a little bit of a hack job on the chest. Coat was very soft and smelled like perfume for a few days after. I would recommend this place if they had admitted that they cut my dog, but it feels very suspicious that they said nothing. I don't think it's very likely that they didn't notice, it was 3 inches.

If any of my friends are in the Lancaster, CA area, DO NOT take your pets to Ellie's Doggy Salon. My husband and I made an appointment at 11 AM to groom 2 dogs. We get there, drop them off and are told to be back at 330. We go out for lunch and get a phone call at 1230 telling us to be back at 430 now. So we show up at 445 and the dogs still arent done. We tell the lady that we are gonna finish shopping and to call us when they are done. We get a very nasty phone call at 555 that the store closes at 6 and we need to get the dogs. So we rush the 15 mins it takes to get there and they completely shaved one dog (no wash) and washed the other (no other grooming) and they didnt even do the nails. So we grab the dogs and try to get an explanation as to why she was nasty on the phone and why it took 7 HOURS to groom 2 dogs. She looks at us, rolls her eyes and says sorry about yelling on the phone. My husband tried to explain to her that this is not how you treat customers and she just throws her hands up and tells us to leave. The lady was even pointing us her scissors while yelling at us! I got a video of the incident, I wish I could post it here! But I posted the lady's photo! EVERYONE, PLEASE BEWARE!!! TERRIBLE GROOMING PLACE!!!

My mother in law used…read morehappy tails before we got our dog, and loved the place, so when we got a dog we decided to try it out as well. I hadn't really thought of it until just now, but I guess we have been using Sandra for almost 9 years now. I Honestly wish I would have thought to have written her a review sooner, because she certainly deserves one. Our Yorkie is one of those dogs that gets terrible anxiety when we take him ANYWHERE. Sandra must be doing something right, because every time he goes to get groomed, once we walk in the door and he seems to realize where he is, he calms down. It's obvious he is comfortable there. Sandra has always been very accommodating to us and our crazy schedules. She has worked us in to her busy schedule last minute numerous times. She often gives our small children stickers for coming in, and she always talks to them. She is an exceptionally friendly person. Her prices have remained very stable over the years with very few increases, even when it seems that price increases would be warranted. It's obvious she cares about what she does. She even knows what we are going to ask for before we ask. Haha Just yesterday when I dropped him off, I asked her to take about half his length off, and she replied with a smile "and extra short around the eyes, and shaved by the butt, with a teddy bear face?" She certainly knows her clients. We wouldn't take our little buddy anywhere else. Her work is fantastic, her prices are great, and her friendly personality is second to none. The few times I have had interactions with her counterparts were always equally pleasant as well. If you are looking for a great groomer, this is the place!
