I have been coming here a long time and have always been happy with the grooming. I took a day off today so I could get my big dogs groomed. When I get there to drop them off they tell me prices have gone up. They didn't go up by a little bit. They went up $80!! The bigger issue is why wasn't I informed at the time I called and made the appointment. I understand costs go up, but that is ridiculous. I took a day off work and lost a days pay for nothing. The correct thing to have done was honor the price I had been paying since they failed to inform me of the change while scheduling the appointment, and moving forward this is the new price. Been meaning to leave a review for a while now but just got up to it now :) I always have such a nice time when I drop off my two senior dogs whether for quick nail trimmings or baths/fur cuts! My last visit was very welcoming too, the staff was sooo helpful when it came to describing the type of style I wanted for my dogs and they absolutely delivered on results! My dogs can be incredibly anxious and reactive around the face area, I was so glad that regardless of the matter the staff were able to help Also, additionally their coats stayed shiny and smelled amazing for weeks after! This was my second time visiting Pets in Style. Their customer service is absolutely outstanding. When I picked up my boy from his spa day, he was so relaxed and happy. I've been taking my German shepherd Sergeant here since I moved last year to Palmdale. Sergeant is sassy so I always ask how he did and the groomers always say he's a good boy. So that assures me they treat him well. He's not one to let himself if you're mean to him lol I recently adopted my chocolate lab and he is very shy. I also got good feed back from him. Took my goldendoodle here for her first puppy bath, no cut wanted. Was disappointed to see her nose hair was shaved, this is not something I wanted. Since this was her first time at the groomer, I wanted her to get used to being there. Also, this cut is not for goldendoodles. It's been over a month and it's still not grown back. I found another place that is used to grooming these dogs and they said this is not a cut they would've done. If you take your puppy here, just make sure they are clear on the services being done. If there is 0 out of 5 stars, that's what they deserve... Very unprofessional! First I made an appt a week before, my husband gets to the place and cannot even find my dog on their schedule log. Secondly, it has been about 3 hours and no call from them yet so my husband decided to go just in case they were calling a different number. He was told that they had accepted too many appts and that they have not gotten to my dog yet. Just a few minutes later, my husband gets a call from them and told him to pick up our dog because they could not work with him since he was biting. Why would you just call after almost 3 hours to tell us that??? I have never locked up my dog in a cage and he was terrified and different when my husband picked him up. After my husband told me this, I called them to let them know how disappointed and mad I was for putting my dog thru this misery (locked up in a cage no food, no water for 3 hours) I have always taken my dog to groomers and he does the same but never have I experienced this from any of them. They knew how to handle dogs who could potentially bite but this place is NOT that! I went to this place because it had almost 5 stars on their rating but everything was a lie! I'm not a complainer, my dog is a very sweet Maltese.. but this is NOT acceptable at all and I would like to take this up to DOG ABUSE! I just read the response of the owner and she knows her response was bullshit... my husband could speak and understand English well. He is also a very educated person. First of all, your facility never asked for my last name but my first name only, not even get any information about my phone number nor my dog's name. And your facility said that he will be done in an hour and never said that it will be done in 2-4 hours. Why would I even make an appt in the first place if my dog would just wait for that long? So why would you even try to lie and twist the situation just to make yourself look good. Accept the mistake and apologize! That's a more professional approach. My dog DID NOT DESERVE THE TREATMENT HE GOT FROM YOUR FACILITY. I will take this up to better business bureau and department of health for abuse. read more

Now Important factor is receptionist was barely setting up with 3 appointment arrivals at 9 am (Veronica look at footage) I looked at said receptionist and told her I want her shave due to fact the weeds get in her fur. I SEE you CHARGE extra for cotton tails, extra CHARGE for DEBIT CARD CHARGE EXTRA for not picking up your animal within the hour I mean VERONICA TIMES ARE HARD but stealing from loyal customers from 2016? YEAH your receptionist mentioned you were out of town for MONTHS & forwarded the best you can do is $30 really? Ok $90 for something that would have done correctly the first time, Now the integrity of said business is being questioned. They are beyond fantastic. The whole team is wonderful. I am grateful for their patience with me. My three girls are very spoiled and unfortunately they get nervous and pee on the floor a little when they get scared but this team handles them with care and grace. It is so comforting to know my girls are in good hands when I leave. I usually find myself worrying when I take my girls to the groomers because some people are just rough or mean but this team is very polished and they don't force my babies to do anything. I've have bad experiences in the past with other groomers which is why my girls get nervous but with Pets In Style, they are very calm and they are getting use to them. Things you don't want etc etc. I have to say one thing tho, I am very very picky with my fur babies grooms. For a deshedding wash and sanitary clip. No knots. No matting. Easy. Ok, so the dog is XXlarge (St Bernard), but cost literally double what other shops charge. If you didn't want to do the service then just say, don't try to charge an exorbitant amount. Went to Award Winning Paws in Lancaster instead. So accommodating and literally $90 for the exact same services that were I'm sure executed better. Highly recommend AWP!!! read more

So I've been coming here since about 2019, many years. The customer service definitely has gone down. I made an appointment recently and my mom was supposed to take my dog but she completely forgot, so we missed our appointment. I called later that day to say sorry for missing the appointment and if I can reschedule. (First appointment I have ever missed) and she was soooooo rude. She told me "you can't be missing anymore appointments" in a very rude way. I just feel like there's a way to communicate with out being rude. Especially in the customer service industry. I've been going with them for years so I thought they would at least appreciate my loyal business. So that was the icing on the cake for me since The last time they groomed my dog they also burned him. He is completely bald in one spot and the fur is not growing back. They didn't even apologize for it when it happened. I will never be going back. You lost a loyal customer. This grooming place has really just gone down hill. You guys need to work on your customer service skills especially when dealing with our dogs. read more
