It was my first time and can't express enough on the amazing job they did. I Have 2 maltipoos and I can't stop cuddling them cause of how cute they look, thank you guys so much!!!!
Such a gem of a business! My goldendoodle was in need of a hair cut urgently; we haven't cut his hair since he was a puppy and suffered from some matting. After posting on Nextdoor looking for a groomer in the area, the owner Apollo reached out and to our delight, his shop was very close to home. We dropped our pooch off and a couple of hours later, we had a brand new dog. Apollo took such great care of our dog, and what I appreciated about him was the passion he shows in his work. While waiting for Puka to finish up, you could hear Apollo talking to him, showing his level of exemplary care and compassion for our dog. He did exactly what we asked for with his cut, and offered an extremely reasonable price. I'm happy to say we found our new, permanent groomer. Thanks again to the Dogsmith!
My fur baby is a bit tough when he do not know someone, so I was afraid he wouldn't be seen, because the last place scratched or knicked him so he is afraid. But surprisingly he had an awesome groomer name Apollo, with patience and time he was able to take care of my maltipoo and I am glad they gave him a chance.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I WANT MY REFUND!!!! I took my mothers Dog at 10pm and he didn't come out till 5pm idk if they even feed them there, I called around 4:40pm to check on him cause they said they would call me back when it was time to pick him up and it was wayyy too many hours gone by, so when i called them up they proceeded to tell me that they had to give him a 2nd bath cause he was pooping blood but they wouldn't have never told me that unless i called to check in mind this they close at 5pm. Anyways so i was satisfied with the haircut but afterwards i took him home he just kept bleeding from his testicle area and it rubbed up to his anus and what it seems pooping blood , and he kept scooting his butt after his haircut and i had to wait for a veterinarian appointment till today and i thought it could've been an intestinal issue but when i got there they said it could be from a razor burn or small cut from the Groomers!!! i went in today and asked for a refund and brought a receipt of the medicine i had to get and the price of the initial check up then for the service which was $115 and for the Grooming service i payed $90 plus tip $100 thinking they had done a decent job. But now that i know its NOT an intestinal problem and it was caused by the Groomers and he wasn't bleeding or pooping blood before i took him in to this establishment. THEY DIDNT GIVE ME MY REFUND they want to talk to the veterinarian that did the service for my dog. Irresponsible and they take no accountability, his Employees kept butting in the conversations trying to give their opinion of what could've happened but no ,I know what happened to my dog and it wasn't just cause he was "scooting his butt" he was doing that cause of the cut / razor burn he got from this PLACE. if i could give negative stars i would

I brought my mixed Old English Sheep dog, again, for a spa day! Sir Barkley got a many, pedi, haircut, tooth brushing and shampoo! He was matted and Danny did a great job on him! I highly recommend this place, I'm a repit customer; they are always friendly and "easy does it".

I drive all the way from Stevenson Ranch to take my dog here. They do such a great job. My dog always smells so good for days too. Great service and have my dog ready for pickup on time. The staff is very friendly and professional. I always feel so welcomed and my dog is never scared when I take her to the shop. The pricing is also great. I love this place. They even put cute little bows on her, that's my favorite part.
New to the area and found this place on yelp. Based off the 5 stars and great reviews, I made an appointment for my Zoey. During the initial call to make an appointment, I spoke with Apollo who was very professional and friendly. He offered me an appointment within week. Day before the scheduled appointment, I received a text message and a phone call to confirm. The day of, I showed up with my Zoey and we were greeted immediately. Zoey was ready for pick up after a couple hours. Again the staff was friendly, and even asked if I was pleased, which I was. They have definitely gained a new customer.
I'm always so excited to see what Dior looks like after leaving The DogSmith. They do such a great job & are so friendly. Everywhere Dior goes she's sure to turn a head and she lives for the attention ... Thank you DogSmith‼

I have a very skittish 7mo puppy that is always a challenge to dress up and bathe, I was very happy with her turn out from her first visit to the groomers! Everyone was so welcoming and took the time to get to know my baby girl in way that I haven't seen from most groomers, they took the effort to get to know if she was comfortable settling in and reassured me of their familiarity :) Was very thankful to get updates on her and getting to know her temperament with grooming in general. Will definitely be returning again soon! read more

I think they did a pretty good job grooming my Snooki. I paid extra to have them die her tail, paws, and ears, but overall was worth the price because she looks great! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they were friendly, didn't keep her too long, they gave me a next day appointment, but the place needs some serious cleaning. As I walked in there was a bad smell, the floor was filthy, and the dog hair is everywhere! On the floor, on the furniture, and even on top of the walls since they don't go all the way up to the ceiling, so you can see a thick layer of dog hair sitting up there. I hope when I go back the place is clean or that might mean I don't want to keep taking my dog here. read more

Im sorry, but to be completely honest? The worst $55 spent in my entire life. My poor Morkie looks horrid! On top of it, my appt was set for 12:15, got there at 12, they said it'd take 3 hrs, I had to call to check up on him & call to see if he was ready- he wasn't ready until 5:30. His hair is SO uneven, on top of it, he was FULL of hair when i brought him home. The worst grooming experience, EVER. I had to rush home to bathe him because my whole car was full of hair. The pictures speak for themselves.... SMH. read more

My big boy was groomed at 6 months & it was a bad experience so I was nervous about taking him somewhere. Dogsmith was recommended by a friend/neighbor. They were amazing. Apollo is very kind. This was my first and last time here. I'm not sure if the management has changed, my sister would always take her dog here and recommended it to me. Today I went and was so livid to see how they cut my dog's stomach leaving it with two marks and said "It's not our fault", instead of simply apologizing. They explained how the dog was "probably moving" and that's how it happened. I'm not a dog groomer but I'm sure everyone can agree if a dog is moving you don't cut it's hair. Neither I nor my sister will return here!!! read more

Do they take mean misbehaving dogs? My dog has past trauma and hates being groomed, she's very mean. She doesn't necessarily bite, but she is a very tough cookie. I can't take her anywhere. She's a small shih tzu. Do they mean dogs?
