This is as good as it gets. We have been taking our 3 dogs here for years. I do not give 5 stars lightly. They are friendly, they listen, reasonably priced and they do a fantastic job with all our dogs. I love the way they handle our dogs. They smell so fresh and clean after. Their de-shedding technique is top notch. When I took my dog that sheds to Petsmart they really blew it! Somehow AV Doggie Styles brushes him out so well he doesn't shed when I bring him home. They do a great job on their nails. They are not jagged and split. We have taken them many places in this valley and when we found AV Doogie Styles we have never left. She came back with some nails really short to the point where it's past her nerves on some toes & one is just extremely long where they barely touched it. Place also smelled so bad. Sucks how I have to leave this review because I've brought her here so many times in the past with no issues but this time I was really disappointed. Don't fall for the low prices. I took my sweet little Dexter he's a Pomeranian mix. Renee groomed him he loved her at first sight. She understood exactly what I wanted right away. She did a wonderful job! This place is infested with fleas and ticks. All 3 of my dogs came back with flees and ticks !!!! as soon as I picked up my dog, I knew something was weird because they wouldn't stop itching their ears, and some of them were crying . The lady does not clean up the shop and allows dogs with flees to get hair cuts !!!! . this owner needs to shower , follow rules and clean her shop with Clorox asap !!!!! my dog were very scared like she was miss treating him. Your dogs will be mishandled. You'll be judged as an owner if your pup is dirty. I took our senior dog to get groomed, and 2 weeks later had to rush her to surgery because of an abcess she contracted from the horrible conditions. She's doing well thank goodness. First time I went the service was very good, they took about 1.5hr to have my dog ready ( 11:30 to 1:00) and when I went to pick him up Javier came out to tell me how everything had gone. They did exactly what I asked for and he had a cute blue bandana around his neck. Second time around, my puppy was terrified to go in, she tried to run away as soon as I opened the door and he realized where we were. I picked him up and he was shaking very bad. I should've left but unfortunately I didn't. This time I asked for a little longer cut since is so cold but the lady told me it couldn't be possible since he had mass on his leg, which I understand, I still asked for a teddy bear face and short ears, since last time they felt them too long and they kept getting dirty when he eats/drinks. This time I also dropped him off at 11:30, around 3:00 I called and asked how much longer, the guy who answered the phone was very rude, and said he was gonna be ready in the 30 min. I get there at 3:30 and wait in my car until 4:00 when they called me. I go in and he brings him out and throws the leash on the floor. The leash has his pup bags and a key chain which smacked on the floor right next to my dog and scared him. I was mad but I still said thank you, the guy ignored me, so I turned around and I said thank you again, and he ignored me again. This time no one came to tell me how it went and he didn't have a bandana. I took him home and he ran ti his water bottle, which I had to refill twice! He was extremely thirsty which tells me they didn't give him any water all day! They also didn't follow instructions on the cut, as he was completely shaved down except for his take and long ears, which I especially asked for short eats. His forehead was choppy and uneven and not like a teddy bear at all. He also had a hot spot on one of his legs, looks like they almost cut him, which they didn't feel the need to tell me. They did a beautiful job cutting my Aussie . They did exactly.what I ask of them a cut all over the body . Her teeth look clean. Other groomers claim they cleaned her teeth but it was obvious they did not. Her teeth are white and clean. When I picked her up she was happy and not stressed . Other places she is running to get out of there. Haircut was.perfect not choppy like other groomers and cut all the way around body which we have asked from other groomers and they did not do what we ask. Good price too for all they done. Great place, they always treat my little Teddy so well! If you ask them for a specific haircut, they will do just that. Best part is they have a lot of availability and won't keep your pet for hours like some others seem to. Love them! I went to take both of my dogs for Grominng. I took the bigger one to Petco before and I was not impressed their either. They did a good job on cutting and bathing the little dog but I was really disappionted in what they did to groom my bigger dog. They claimed they used the deshedding shampoo but she was still shedding afterwards even when they went back and combed agian. Plus I asked for a trim around the legs and back and no trimmimg was done. I even wrote this info on the card they had me fill out. The only thing that they did that Petco let me down before is trimed and grined the paws. Doggie styles overbooked themselves for the Holidays but the quality of work is down. I don't think I will be going back soon. read more

My persian kitty Willow gets matted so easily and I knew it was going to be a big job. I'm so happy! Willow looks beautiful and is not traumatized like that former groomer. When I took him in the lady decided he needed a lion cut, and told me she didn't need to shave him down. Extremely happy with this business. Was able to get my dogs (boxer and shih tzu) in quickly. They did an excellent job (wash and nail trim for the boxer and wash, major haircut and nail trim for the shih tzu). It was under $100 for both (with a tip). I was quoted 3 hours and they were done in half the time. My girls looked amazing and they were both super happy when I picked them up! We told him that my aunts little dog had ran away and had came back weeks after he was missing. He was a complete mess. I have taken my pet MJ to AV doggie Sykes 3 times now. I love the variety of services they offer and they always are very pleasant and professional. The 1st time I had MJ colored for the summer in teal and they did a good job and he looked so cute. The second time I had him groomed washed and nails it ears cleaned and I was happy they cut the hair on his back and left the neck it actually was a cute look for him. Today I had his teeth deep cleaned and Robin removed all the tarter which had started to build up and a bath. I really wanted to like this place because where the location is stores are always coming and going... I called early Friday morning around 8:30AM to make an appointment. I was told they could take me at 9AM. But it is cash only so I had to run to the bank plus get my kids ready so I asked if they had a later time and they told me 11AM. 10:40AM I arrive and hand them my dog. We discussed what I wanted(short body cut(she suggested a 5), trimmed but still fluffy tail, and a short teddy bear face) and she then told me that he will be ready in 2 hours. 1PM rolls around and I had noticed that I hadn't heard back from them yet. No worries, sometimes people are behind. No biggie. 2:05PM comes around and now I'm like "ooookay where is my dog?" I call and they say 45 minutes. 3 effing 30 rolls around(1.5 hours since my last call) and I call and they say he is ready. I have my husband go pick him up since he was about to run errands. My husband brings my dog home and he immediately dashes for his water bowl and drank TWO bowls of water. I have never ever seen him that thirsty, even after a walk. So I'm 99% sure that in the almost 5 HOURS that he was there, he did not get any water. I understand you don't feed them but you can at least give them water!!! Once he was done drinking I was able to take a look at his face and I was extremely disappointed. It was not a short teddy bear cut AT ALL... Not even close. I have no clue what it is... But my dog who is a shih tzu mix, but looks mostly like a shih tzu, looked like a chihuahua. The body and tail were fine but that's easy... All I asked for was a low cut body and trimmed tail. My husband could do that. I really just wanted him to have the cute teddy bear face and he didn't get that at all. Sadly we will not be returning. It shouldn't have taken 5 hours if we were told only 2 AND we had an appointment. read more

Many complaints about groomer being unkind to dogs, and pet's being cut while being groomed. A dog owner was picking up their dog and noticed a dog named Charlie not being treated nice by the groomer on 9/22/21 that it made her uncomfortable and she won't be taking her dog here again. One of the ladies from this shop found my puppies, who I did not even know had escaped. I was at work and the gardener didn't latch the gate. The were absolutely wonderful and kept them both for me for the 30 mins. Had they not taking time out from their own work to rescue my dogs, something really bad could have happened. Just the fact they did this, and refused to allow me to buy them lunch, tells me they love animals. When I arrived I could tell my dogs were very taken care of and safe. Horrible. I've been going there for a long time and they have always been not very personable, but this time just out right rude.
