Came to this location to upgrade my current phone, which admittedly, I live under a rock and didn't realize it would be tough to get a new iPhone, 100% on me. However, the guy that was working alone the morning of 10/11/23 was very rude and sassy. He pretty much shut me down when I asked if any other colors besides blue would ship faster (I looked on my own and found that one other color would), he told me to go to the Apple Store and lose out on the deals I could get with AT&T after being a loyal customer for over 20 years despite subpar service at my house, assured me that if I waited much longer to place an order, my phone would likely arrive in late November or early December (I was going out of town on the current arrival dates for the more popular colors), and he was sassy with other customers that came in after me as well. He obviously was having a bad day. But with that, I do have to thank him! Because of his attitude, I decided to go to the store closer to my house and a new phone was ordered with no problem! In fact, the associate assured me delivery dates were usually the worst case scenario and they often saw phones arrive sooner. Just a few hours after ordering my new phone, it has shipped and is on its way! The other positive besides getting actual help is, I will pay less in taxes since the one by my home has a lower sales tax rate. So, thank you rude guy at Whittier!! My dad needed to upgrade his iPhone and the wait was reasonably 10 minutes as the associate tended to another family. She was upfront and provided expected wait time. The customer service overall was great. On to the person who hand-delivered the iPhone 13 at my home next day: Jessica was courteous, explained everything in detail and was patient with my dad. The rep (Elias) did not know or wasn't paying attention (he even admitted it that he wasn't paying attention!) which customer was next which led to confusion and us being skipped over the queue. While my sister was paying a bill in the store ALL At&t employees (including the manager) thought it was necessary and professional to talk disrespectfully about an elderly women once she left the store in-front of other customers. Firstly, you should know this is not a REAL att store, It is an authorized retailer and they are not a corporate store. They cannot literally do anything. They can't even return a phone. The manager has to do it because she apparently doesn't trust her employees and it shows. And will only do it within certain hours that will directly conflict with your hours and will cause so much inconvenience. I recently purchased a usb cord to charge my phone because I was having trouble charging my iPhone with cheap cords. Found out that cheap cords actually mess up the phone later on. Today I accidentally jammed my usb cord by closing my door on it. It was my only cord and I just recently bought it; I couldn't find the receipt but customer service specialist Cesar helped me out by exchanging my broken cord for a new one. I came in to the last week just to look for a case for my S9 was greeted by Zana and Joana who were both really helpful, they showed me my options and answered all my questions. Then we started talking about the plans and promotions they have right now and I don't know how they did it but they convinced me to switch over from sprint to At&t! They gave me a great price on the phones and I will be paying less wit better service. I got hooked up with accessories and they even helped me put on my screen protector. Not to mention I got credit on all my old devices and got to keep my old numbers. The first two times I went into this store to pay my cable bill, I had a great experience... but today I went in here and both girls were on their phones... there was no other customer, and the one who I spoke with (was watching a video on her phone) she wasn't fully engaged in the conversation... which is why she kept asking me the same questions over & over and making me repeat myself.... I told her that I wanted to get a temporary phone, just so that I could have a phone and that I wanted to add it to my bill... She then proceeds to tell me that in order to change phone companies my phone has to be unlocked... OKAY NO PROB.... How much is the cheapest phone you have? Again, because this is a temporary phone and I just want it to so that I can have a line and not spend much money having two different companies... (one for phone & the other for cable) She then tells me that I would have to call the company directly and they would help me because supposedly she couldn't do it in the store..... WAIT A MIN, you previously told me that you would do this for me & now all of a sudden you cannot??? I'm guessing she didn't wanna do it because one she was on her phone, there were no customers, so me coming in obviously bothered her... The other employee was snickering and looking up at us as we were speaking because I'm guessing she knew what the other girl was telling me was straight BS... The girl then tells me that the cheapest phone that they have right now is the iPhone XR... she then says and that is $650.... SO you really expect me to believe that's the cheapest phone that you have??? I found the staff at this location very helpful. As soon as I walked in there was a representative available to assist me. I always find dealing with cellphone companies to be a headache. I went into this location with a load of questions regarding my plan and the Sales Associate, Oscar, was very patient in explaining the terms of my plan to me and other options available. I walked out with a great deal on my trade in phone and I got a discount on accessories. I was very hesitant going to this store due to the reviews but I decided to take the chance anyway. I have to say I do not regret coming to the store. This store deserves all 5 stars and more if possible. Long story short I bought cell phones from a third-party seller And received my phones by mail without any Sim cards so I called AT&T customer service and had so many issue with them over the phone. so I decided to head over to this store. I walked into the store again expecting the worst where then I met Cassandra Gudino. She took full control of my situation getting on the phone with customer service, number import team, and even the fraud department. They started giving her so much run around that any point she could've just gave up and had me walk away upset and disappointed with the service. But she worked through it all making sure I walked out with my service working and no complications whatsoever. She also let her team know that if I where to come the following day with any issues that they were to take care of me with no problem. AT&T needs more people like Cassandra Gudino. Horrible customer service and care. I gave one star but if it allowed me to give no stars I would. I went in to get a new IPhone 7 and left with contracts and service charges that were never brought to my attention or even associated with the product I came to purchase. The salesman never mentioned or suggested that I would be taking on the new fees and charges by accepting the free iPad. The manager who was also behind the counter never took it upon herself to jump in and mention the hidden charges or fees that came along with the gift when she was helping him figure out how to enter in the redemption code for the iPad. What they failed to mention is going to cost me because "there is nothing they can do" even though the manager admitted I should have been informed of the fees. They also told me that I could get unlimited data if I had direct TV "all they needed was to have direct tv confirm I had their service". That's it? That's it he said. Not the case, because he changed my service 6 days into my billing cycle I was being charged pro rated charges which somehow when it was all said a done the "free gifts and direct tv incentive" was $200 extra on my bill which is normally $150. So I walked in looking to only get a phone and was sold on " no extra costs or fees" but when I look at my bill before it's due find out that the sales guy lied to me, the manager did nothing to inform me, neither of them did anything to help fix the problem when I came back other then to say had you came in earlier we could have helped. Basically had you not trusted us and checked your bill prior to the time limit we could have helped you fix our mistake. Because you did not catch us in our lies in time you have pay for our mistakes. I am hoping Rafael Gallardo the district manager can remedy the problem and keep me as a customer. read more
