I had SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE from Daniel today, March 14, 2026, at the AT&T Store in South Gate. All too often people are quick to complain and rarely provide a compliment. I want to turn that around and provide information to compliment Daniel for the exemplary customer service that he provided me when I came into the store because my phone froze. Daniel was extremely patient in providing the service. I could not make telephone calls, but I could receive them. I also could not send a picture in a text message, but I was able to send text messages. I am not proficient in using my phone and I asked him to reset my Apple password so I could download other apps. Daniel willingly and expediently fixed EVERYTHING for me and patiently explained what he did. I want his management to acknowledge his performance in some appropriate way which undoubtedly will inspire him to continue his exemplary performance with other customers as he did in my instance. I called right back she answered and I was asking a simple question about an upgrade and before I can even say OK thank you she hung up on me. That's crazy. 0 stars!!! Terrible customer service at this location from my experience! Employees don't care to help. The red hair girl would answer my questions with a few words and with attitude and basically said...my manager said you could wait for our store tech ( he was out on vacation, he'll be back next week, he's the only one that could install the internet at your address or just cancel. When they had said before they would schedule him to come on Monday it's now Tuesday and still nothing. It's been over a week and the problem can't get solved. Made the mistake to also change my phone lines with them and the service is terrible. I mentioned it to her and she couldn't care less to make more questions or try and help me. Definitely going back to T-Mobile never had any issue's with them. Please hire people that want to work and have the capacity to give a good service to their customers. read more

Very friendly when I was buying a new phone but after that, the service just went downhill. I was offered a promotion, it was buy a screen protector for 50$ and it comes with lifetime warranty, whenever I need to swap it for a new one it would be completely free. I thought 50$ is a lot to pay for a screen protector but for lifetime warranty I'd be better off buying it. I went into the store Tuesday July 22nd & was told I'd have to pay a 12$ deduction. I declined the service. I proceeded to ask why my bill had went up so much and what I can do to lower my bill. I was told there's nothing I can do. Went to a different location and told the manager about what happened & he said I can cancel insurance for a device & switch to auto pay and it should help lower the bill a bit and as for the screen protector, they waved the deductible fee. The second location I went to actually tried to help me out unlike this crappy location. I highly recommend you don't switch to AT&T and HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DONT COME TO THIS LOCATION read more

Do not recommend this store, employees do not explain what will be added to your services. We went to buy a new phone and they added homestech insurance without our knowledge. Went back to request to be removed and they now added the asurion insurance for another 17 Dollars plus 6 dollar to upgrade phone. They are rude, the lady that's was checking out account mention to another employee we were tripping because of the insurance thinking we didn't understand English. Very very rude I wish I have gotten the name of the employee. Now we have to call AT&T to have it remove before they charge us. read more

Valerie was very helpful today . I came in with my grandmother because she wanted to upgrade her iPhone 11 , Valerie was super knowledgeable and explained to my grandmother what offers she qualified for . The service was simple , informative , and straightforward. she took the time to explain everything in detail so we wouldn't be surprised by suden fees or services . If it was possible I would not give this place no star. Due to that fact that they just rob people. My dad went to trade in his phone and they said it was fine and we did the deal and everything we payed the taxes. Later on during the day when went to turn in the old phone they wanted to raise up my dad payment and that they could only give my dad half of the credit due to the fact that it had a little spot but the spot was there since earlier so therefore it wasn't our fault. And then they still want to charge my dad a restocking fee. The manger or worker whatever she is April is so rude. Fernando and Georgina were great with communicating and assisting me with my account. I appreciate their assistance and not brushing me off like a previous store I visited. They walked me through the steps they were doing behind the desktop and making sure I understood the process was going to take longer than usual. I appreciated Fernando's attention to detail even though it was during Black Friday and the store had a lot of foot traffic. In addition, once I had my issue resolved and return to make a purchase, Georgina was professional in assisting me with my purchase. Called customer "service" twice for my situation. Was advice to go into the retail location. At the retail location I was told notes weren't updated on the account and had to call customer service again. Since I had errands, took my time called customer service again and had notes updated. Came back to retail location. And once again, misinformed again and now have to wait 3 days to complete my transaction AGAIN !!! Within the four occasions I called customer care, I was always told things are ready to go. All this back and forth and nothing is complete. Really bad customer service both at this location and customer service over the phone. I guess Verizon will appreciate my service, sad AT&T can't appreciate my 15 yrs of service. SMH ‍ read more

Honestly if I can give 0 stars I would I've been having problems with fake promises and lies after lies with the store manager who refuses to give his name. The representative Fabian who has lied since day 1. They said in order for FREE installation on internet you have to get the highest plan. When I asked I only want the basic plan will I still have to pay installation. Fabian said yes so I got the highest plan. Come to find out it was free installation for all of the plans. So I asked to speak to the manager and he wouldn't take my calls until I showed up to the store in South Gate. I wanted corporates number and Fabian said I'll give you guys an extra $100 reward card so you don't call. I told him fine and I left. 2 months later no gift card. I called and now Fabian is telling me that he can't give me an extra $100 reward card. And again the manager won't answer my calls. What is up with lying to your customers. This is horrible customer service. So now I won't get the $100 reward card or the number to the district manager. read more

Terral the Assistant Store Manager, helped me switch carriers and welcomed me to AT&T and made the transaction smooth and went above and beyond to answer all my questions and concerns.
