I had a super good experience upgrading my phone here. I waited about 25 minutes until a representative was free but once I had her sitting down and assisting me the rest was efficient and painless. Nancy explained all my upgrade options, I opted for a 14+ as I liked the bigger phone and lower monthly bills with my trade in of a 10. She transferred all my info over, put on the case and screen protector and I was on my merry way. I read some bad reviews prior to coming here, but I had a great experience and I brought my shiny new iPhone home and it works great. read more

I understand it is not a Corporate Store but if AT&T doesn't change the people working in this store then all the money you spend on Advertising is a waste of resources. They could have cared less about us as a customer. Pure foolishness to have such an aggresive marketing program as you do only to be negated by poor in store customer service. We walked in and stood around for 15 minutes with no acknowledgement. It was even hard to tell who was an employee and who was a customer. Nobody looked our way and said they would be with us when they were done with the other guests or directed us to get on the list I saw on a monitor. Walked in to get an iPhone 15 and immediately the two guys working were rude, telling me to order online before I even finished asking. After telling them the online order didn't work they seemed upset that they now had to do their job. The worker was extremely rude and unprofessional for the rest of the interaction. read more

I had recently received a letter from AT&T notifying me that I qualified for a free 3G Microcell (a mini cell phone tower for the home), and all I had to do was go to this AT&T Store to claim it. I was skeptic thinking that this was some trick to get me into the store and then try to upgrade my phone or sell an additional service. I was greeted and directed to Dennis L., who promptly brought out the 3G Microcell, put my information in the system, and told me this was free as a thank you for being an AT&T customer. I wasn't treated as some guy trying to get a free item. Their professionalism and prompt service was appreciated. read more

Worst experience I ever had in my life. I went in and wanted to upgrade to the 12. The girl said it's quicker to order from apple and return my phone there once the phone arrived. I did that and when I went in to return my phone Justin told me that wasn't true and he couldn't help me. When I started to get upset he stood up and said you need to leave (very aggressively) and said he was going to call the cops on me. Acted like he wanted to fight my husband. Excuse me? Where am I?? The manager came over to deescalate the situation. He helped us but still was confused why we were told we can return our phone for the $800 credit. I recently went to the AT&T store in North Hills. J. P., the manager, was absolutely great at figuring out how to help me with a really messy and complicated mobile phone upgrade. He turned me over to Sam (Samantha?) who helped me even more by fine tuning the plan to be even better and cheaper. I was so pleased with Sam's help that I went ahead and upgraded my daughter's plan. Again, she found a way to make the plan work even better for me. These are absolutely the people that I will come to for my next mobile phone upgrade. read more

I will not get into specific details but it is sufficient to say that the incident was serious enough to involve Jonathan Stankey, the AT&T CEO to invoke disciplinary action against the behavior of store manager Jonathan Petit-Homme and his assistant Justin. read more

In general, I really like AT&T's product and customer service. It works well in the places I spend the most time and customer support over the phone or on chat has been exemplary. I currently pay AT&T about $190/month for an iPhone, an Android phone and an iPad with LTE. I don't believe that spending more should necessarily entitle you to better customer service than someone who pays less, but I want to illustrate that I am a fairly lucrative customer. Like many iPhone geeks out there this week, I went to the Apple Store to buy the new iPhone 5s. Because I was eligible for an upgrade on my iPad line, I bought the new phone on that line with the intention of going to the AT&T immediately after buying the phone and switching the SIMs so that I could use the same number I've been using for my phone. I explained all of this to the iPhone salesperson who agreed that I should run by AT&T to get the SIMs switched out (this comes into play shortly). When I got to the AT&T store, I was helped immediately, which was nice. The person helping me, Raymond I believe, upon hearing the reason for my visit, immediately turned to his coworker and remarked "Apple has the ability to do this themselves. We really need to call over there and get them to do it" and shortly thereafter, to me, "I hope we don't run out of SIM cards because of things like this. We did once and a lot of people got upset." I found myself apologizing. APOLOGIZING. TO HIM. For requesting 5 minutes of his time and 2 tiny pieces of plastic. It was quite uncomfortable. Clearly, they do need to call the Apple Store and explain that they have the ability to make such changes, if that is indeed true, as the Apple salesperson who helped me didn't know anything about it. Upon completing the transaction, I high tailed it out of the store and hoped that it was all correct. Of course, it wasn't. Raymond had set up my account in such a way that I was now being billed for 3 phones instead of 2 phones and a tablet because he was too lazy to switch the IMEI numbers and associate them with the correct SIMs. AT&T's online chat was more than happy to assist while I was at work and quickly got it all sorted out. I will be avoiding this location in the future as I have received much better service at the Durham 15/501 location. It's a shame AT&T did not send me a survey request for Raymond as they did for the online chat representative, so I will speak my peace here. One star for actually accomplishing what I asked for, mostly, and one star for my request being a general pain in the ass. Still, it's no excuse for such poor service. read more

Yesterday I went to this store. Our salesperson (I believe his name was Anthony) was very friendly and knowledgeable, but the rest of our experience there was pretty bad. This store is very understaffed and the wait time was shockingly long considering there were only 3 people in line. We spoke briefly with a man (who I believe was the manager) who put our names on a wait list, he let us know that he didn't care if we switched to another service provider. If you have to go to this store though, make sure you ask for Anthony, He somehow made a terrible situation bearable. read more

Each time that I go to this store, it seems like the people trying to "help" have the attitude of how now to do what I'm asking. I had a broken phone and spent an hour trying to explain that I needed a new phone. After several discussions including the manager, I had to explain that I wanted to pay cash for a replacement phone. They both indicated that this could be done and that I should have said this sooner. My experience at this store causes me to consider changing carriers. read more

I'll admit that the hassle of choosing a new phone and a new phone plan was part of the reason I dragged my heels when it became apparent that our current phone was nearing the end of its lifespan (rest in peace, old friend!), but my worry was unfounded! The spouse & I decided to go with AT&T for service, and were lucky enough to be assisted by James as soon as we walked into the store. He was very helpful, informing us of the detailed differences between various phones and service plans, but never once came across as bringing the hard sell. We were able to leave with exactly what we needed, and we'll certainly be looking toward AT&T for future services such as U-Verse and their Digital Life home security. read more

Beware of this location. I had the worst experience here. There are so many reasons to list, but the main one is the management. If you don't have a good management team in place you can't expect the people under them will be knowledgeable, customer focused or accountable. I recently switched from Spectrum to AT&T uverse and internet. Everything went smoothly until it came time to get my $100 and $200 visa gift cards I was promised. My salesman Eddie on Capital Blvd. I called him at least twice over a 2 week period and left messages. No return call. Finally had been back to store and talked to assistant manager. He told me my account number had been changed so it had been delayed. I asked him why and he gave me no reason. I gave it more time and finally called back my salesman. He told me he would look into it and call me back that night but he was busy. However he would make it his top priority to call me first thing the next day after his shift started at noon. I heard nothing. So I went back to the store again and he told me he had been busy all day but he was standing around doing nothing!! He did call the rewards center after making it clear to me that it was not his job! He was told by rewards center told him I had no choice but to wait till next week. If it doesn't come will reissue which will probably take another 3 or 4 weeks.!! I have contacted local television station and will see what happens!! I will never go back to this location. Michael M had helped me and he was very pushy and only wanted to try and sell sell sell. I had asked a few questions about phones and plans and he kept trying to sell me other things and ignored my questions. I ended up getting a phone from him, and "free tablet". Big mistake. He lied about how much my bill would be and that the tablet was free. Tried to call back for help,but was told they couldn't do anything since I was past the 14 days. If you are considering getting AT&T U-verse, reconsider. It has been an absolute nightmare. I have called technical support NUMEROUS times and have also had technicians come out 4 times. Each time they attempt to fix the problem by doing something different, and each time it doesn't work. I was told that I would receive reimbursement for each day that my tv and internet were not working (which has been months now) and they are still charging me $165 a month. My service is so off and on that we have had to re-boot the system 45 times in the last 30 days (according to the technical support rep I contacted today!). It is absolutely ridiculous. To get me to stay, the rep tried to give me a deal.. this "deal" included raising my monthly payment to $167 to let me get a "special rate" for HBO and Cinemax. The least of my worries is getting more channels.. I just want to have a working internet and tv! It's like they think I'm stupid. Let's get real. I am in vet school and have online work.. often times I have to go somewhere else to connect to the internet. To top things off, they won't reimburse me until a technician comes out (again). They give you a four hour window in which you must WAIT for them to arrive. While having no internet or tv to watch. Which is absolutely terrible and ridiculous. They also tried to charge ME a $99 fee for the last technician's visit even though the problems have ALL been on AT&T's end, not mine. The technician called me before 4 (the window was from 4-8pm) and left me a message saying he was on the way. I called him back 7 times and he would not answer. He finally picked up, only to hang up on me without speaking (this was at 7:30). HE NEVER CAME. There are many things I would rather be doing on one of my few days off than waiting on a technician to fix a problem that I am PAYING TOO MUCH FOR only to have him not only not show up, but also be so rude. I will be switching my service to Time Warner Cable, as this is absolutely outrageous. Please think before choosing this service. read more

Hey Colby of Customer Care! Find A New Job! We live in North Hills. We received a letter promising a 30-day trial of Uverse television, high-speed and telephone. In addition, twice this year, two guys came to our door trying to sell AT&T services. We have had terrible service in the past with AT&T but were assured they had changed. Via telephone they sold us a bundle of all three services. On the morning of the first scheduled install we received a voicemail letting us know there were outside line problems. (So I took the day off for this.) They rescheduled us for three weeks later, only to not show and not even call. When I called, two people in the Phillipines smiled audibly and told me how sorry they are, and finally connected me to Colby, some sort of grief counselor they make you talk to in order to cancel your order. She was smug, had a smile in her voice the entire time, and was not the least bit apologetic. AT&T is the same piece of garbage it has always been. Don't be drawn in. read more
