I walked in around 2pm on a Sunday with my family. All the associates were busy. Since we didn't see anyone or a tablet to check in, we stood right in front of the doors and waited but no one even acknowledged us for quite a few minutes. So I had to stop the store manager and ask to check/ sign us in and he had the audacity say, "oh, I thought you were signed in already." knowing darn well that we weren't. While the store manager was checking us in, he informed us that we can just call a number that he had provided. I said that we were thinking about upgrading devices on a few lines and asked to sign us in anyways. We had been on the phone for quite a while when one of the associates approached us and said that it was our turn. She simply informed my sister that whenever we were ready, just come get her. Shortly after, we were done with the phone call. No one approached us to assist yet again. The same store manager from earlier was just walking around to fix the displayed devices avoiding eye contact. Eventually, we stopped him and he signed us in again. Despite the fact that we were told to just come get one of the associates since we were already checked in. We were at the store for an hour and a half. So there were obviously customers leaving, freeing the associates. But for some magical reason, each time a customer left, the associate disappeared to the back and never came back out. Finally, we were so sIck of being ignored and waiting that we left. Honestly, I'd never go back to this location. Why would I want them to waste my precious time? read more

My family has been a Verizon customer for 8 years now. I was trying to take advantage of the student discount to save 25% off our account; instead we were billed for $40 more per month . I performed my due diligence beforehand and Verizon claimed you could use the discount in addition to your promotion, took the screenshots and everything. Verizon rep was so worried about our grandfathered plan. Now we have a "new" welcome plan in place, removing my family's hotspots. I spent over an hour with customer service to undue the damage and sabotage Verizon enabled. I had been forewarned this outcome would play out like this and it most certainly did. I told the greeter I was there to upgrade a phone and purchase an iPad Pro - He was fine & polite. The sale rep (I believe he said his name was Nick) on the other hand should not be dealing w customers needs. No people skills at all. First thing he says to me after I tell him i wanted to upgrade my phone was "you have a balance" (A balance that is not even due until August 17th). I had the worst experience ever at this location. I went in for an upgrade and Ray Masod was my sales rep. This man listened to absolutely nothing I said and he had already made a plan in his head to make sure my bill didn't lower . after I called him out on it he said he could wave the activation fee that 5 minutes before he couldn't wave. He tried adding a third line and a wireless hot spot. I just wanted an upgrade and I never once mentioned a wireless hot spot but he sneakily added it to my bill. I'm warning everyone this guy is BAD NEWS!! Ray masod has completely ruined my trust in Verizon after 17 years of being a Verizon customer this is ridiculous! Switched to Verizon bc of the solid network reputation. I've had terrible connection since i switched over. Came in with network/ signal issues and worked with Bobby. He did an excellent job to remediate the issue and offered a new sim on the spot. He said if it doesn't correct the problem to come back in and ask for him. Went to this location to get help activating a new phone. The untrained associate at the door told me to go home and do it myself. When I told him I tried that and it didn't work, he said they couldn't help me -- I asked if there was anyone in the location who could help and he said there was not!! Clearly there is training needed. Online wait time is eternal and now I don't have a working phone. The entire staff should be seeking new career opportunities. We stopped in to this Verizon location to decide on a new phone (. . .as one tends to do in a shop that sells phones) and were pleasantly surprised by the comprehensive information available and relaxed yet helpful attitude of the salesclerks. We were greeted upon arriving and then signed in to be personally assisted by a clerk, yet were still given plenty of time to look around and try the phones as we pleased. Each display offered cards with the specs laid out, making it easy to compare different models. We were helped by August, who was able to answer our questions factually but also offered her own personal experiences with the various models to help us decide. We didn't feel rushed or pressured, either. All in all, if you're looking for a new phone with Verizon, I recommend this location! read more

Perhaps the rudest experience I've ever had at any communications store. Not only did I social distance appropriately and follow their guidelines but when I told them what I needed they shut me down. Tried to rebook the appointment. Acted as if I was an unwanted customer and generally if this store doesn't get it's stuff together VERIZON will lose customers. Never use this store or this company. Shop around. I bought my 82 yr old mother a phone from here that worked for 3 weeks. Took it back got the same replacement phone which still didn't work. Spent countless hours at the store and on the phone with technical support. Talked to Cherri Mgr, Matt general Manager both offered little to no help. Called Regional manager Dave Barry without a call back. Had to PAY not only for a Phone that didn't work but had to pay the additional line monthly fee. A multimillionaire dollar company would not wave a mere $96.00 fee as well as the monthly charge. After 5 visits and countless hours I broke and bought a new phone. Waste of my time. I went in to update my account and add an account feature (insurance). I clearly stated that I wanted the 7.15 insurance and the young lady reassured me this was the feature added. Went home and logged in my account sure enough she added the 11.00 plan and she did not update my account accordingly. I called customer service and they were able to assist. I knew I was going to regret not going to the Brier Creek location. I get the luxury of writing the great review. I had an awful experience yesterday at this store, my boyfriend is writing on that issue, I'm writing to give credit to the employee that deserves it THE ONE THAT FIXED IT!! I've been a Verizon customer since the beginning, since cell phones were made available to everyone-close to 20 years. A very long time. We went in yesterday looking to get an upgrade and walked out with an item we didn't need or want, swindled in a way. We left feeling sick about it. I understand commission, but pleaded with the salesman to help. We aren't rolling in dough right now, struggling a bit. Have some compassion. I smashed my phone, and had an upgrade available. How can I get without spending a ton than I don't have.... just a bad year for us financially. That being said, felt swindled then sick to stomach about having a mobile hot spot I'll never use. I went back today and luckily that salesman was off. MATHEW LITTLE, was the most outstanding and compassionate person I've ever met. Understood that getting only what you need is how it should be done. Made everything right, with the most upbeat attitude. I will only work with him. He so phenomenal I highly recommend you ask for him. I actually noticed him the day before with the customer he had and instantly liked him, can't lie when I saw him there today, I hoped he was the one who'd help us. He was, and my gut was right. Not a problem with the store, but the service. I have 2 cell phones, 1 keep on with a regular and the other one as an emergency phone. Plus, when I set up a warranty or get a store card so my main phone doesn't get slammed w/telemarketing calls. Any way, my backup phone continues to get sooner or later cut off from service. I can deal with that(however the bill is always paid & up to date and shares the unlimited minutes of the primary phone), but they never fail to keep charging for service to that phone that I have to keep calling back so often to resync to their system. I have been with Verizon since May of 2014 and I felt good at first about joining Verizon but at his point I am very disappointed in my experience so far. Every month has been a headache and I can not seem to see at all where the saving really are and especially since I have a government employee discount. I was told about every month "Oh you should see the savings in one to two billing cycles" what a joke! Every month since May I have had to increase my data so that I would not get charged for data overage which is $15.00. So now I am at 8GB and still no savings my bill has been over $100.00 every month since May. When I got my first bill In June I was charged $45.00 in data overage when the IT Support was supposed to have increased my data to avoid this overage and they did not. So If I had not been paying attention to my bill like I do every month Verizon was just going to take my money and say nothing about it. That's bad business they should have the knowledge in technology to catch a mistake on a bill and step up to credit a customer's account for Verizon's mistake. So here we are with the bill for August and Verizon has done it again by secretly adding charges to my account with out a explanation of why they are charging my account. My bill had a overage charge of $14.99 and a late fee of $1.50 which is $16.99 dollars of my money that they were just going to take for no reason. So I called and I was told that since July and August had 31 days that they moved my billing date back on day and Verizon failed to notify me of this action taking place and so that's why my bill was one day late. The lady I spoke with said "Oh we really should tell our customers when this happens so that they can be better prepared to pay their bill on time" now WHY is that so hard to do when Verizon will send you text after text for just about everything else. It's really a shame that I have to call Verizon every month about my bill and call them out on fees that should NOT be on my bill. I am sick and TIRED of doing that I just don't understand what the issue is with communication. My bill was fixed but I asked why was I charged a data overage charge when I clearly did not go over it said that to be true on my Verizon account. She said that " I was charged that because when you go out side of the data towers and use someone else's tower you get charged a NO BILLED DATA FEE" "So we have to wait for the other tower to send us your data usage off of their towers and then we add it to your bill. WHAT??? REALLY?? I have never heard that ever and she could not even tell me what tower and where so right there I know that is a lie and that because I did not go over they just wanted me to pay more money. See the way I figure it Verizon wants me to pay more because they feel what I pay is not enough since I get a discount and if that's the case they should not offer discounts period. Also it seems that at the last two weeks of every month I get a text saying that I have used 70% of my data text YES to get 2 more GB'S, and then the last week of the month close to my new billing date I get another text saying I have used 90% of my data. Well I think that is happening to force me to increase my data to pay them more money, that's not fair BAD BUSINESS. I will say that my service is excellent but customer service and the over all management of Verizon is TERRIBLE AND UNJUST. When my contract is up I will be leaving Verizon to never return because I work hard for my money and I will not just give it away to a bill that has fee's that I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR. If I know that I went over my data I am grown enough to pay for it with no questions asked because I know that it was my fault. I will continue to monitor my bill every month and keep a close eye on Verizon to prevent them from screwing me over on my bill. I'm tired of being taken advantage of..... read more

I had very bad experience with this store. I went there to get a new phone. Since I am a new customer I was asked to give my id... Saleswoman took my driver's license and went somewhere to the back then returned back without it... when I was about to leave I asked her to give me my id back but she convinced me she already did. I can't believe it! I asked her to check surveillance cameras and see what happened. on a next day manager called me and left a message with no explanations just saying that she is sorry. Usually I go in and they know very little about their phones (at another store, someone told me all the Droid system phones were the same, same cameras, etc. - false), but the guy who helped me today knew exactly what to do with my broken charger/phone and gave me a new charger for free. Really nice staff. BUT I got there at 9:57 and was 2nd in line, by a few minutes after 10 there was quite a line. This place is just wonderful! In fact, you would be demented, or, at least, very wrong, to go anywhere else. My wife and I had to go here two days in a row, once to add a new phone for her, and then because I couldn't figure out how to transfer everything from my old phone to my new one. We dealt with Al on the first visit, who was just outstanding - very helpful and quite understanding of our ignorance.
