We sat at the bar and watched sports on the TV and enjoyed the company of others at the bar. Who knew that you could get your groceries and enjoy a drink all at the same place. This is a very nice touch.

They also have lots of samples they give out. It's quite the set up more than just a grocery store. The aisles are spacious and the selection is really nice in the store. What I really love about HT is the brand awareness. For instance, if you like Chobani creamer - they carry almost every flavor. This is my go to store for many brands I'm particular about. They weren't even fully stocked yet but we found some of our favorite items like Indian-flavored potato chips. They also stock some gift items and are slowing adding more grab and go options. On other visits, we grabbed a sandwich and a take-and-heat Thanksgiving meal for two. We look forward to seeing what else they will be adding.

It's one of those stores that strike a bit of curiosity as you walk by, so much that your head turns and before you know it, you're browsing inside. We happened to see it since there were many vendors set up outside on a Saturday afternoon. We weren't sure what we were looking at when we first walked in, but the moment we saw all the goodies on the tables, we knew it was a boutique shop with lots of unique and local items. They sell all sorts of treats, to teas, to dog treats, to sauces, soaps, jams, produce to even ready made food (although I didn't get to take a peek at what kind). I do wish it were more closer to the street so that it could get more visibility, but I'm sure with how cute the store is, people who remember to make a stop here. I don't know why, though, since that seems to be the perfect spot for a convenience store. And what a convenience store it is. First of all, Heritage Market is a classic convenience store with an old-time feel but carrying the usual drinks and chips and good humor ice cream. Nevertheless, if you want to escape the traffic or break up a road trip, this is a good place for a mini-stop. Whether it's a breakfast on the go, or a few minutes extra for lunch, they're set up so you can grab a sandwich, a cup of Larry's beans coffee, and sit at a small table in the corner to watch the traffic outside or the news on the overhead TVs. This store was super busy. I was inside for only a few minutes, but nearly everyone who stopped in was greeted by name by the employee. It's obviously a popular stop with the locals. As I reached into one cooler to grab some water, the cooler next to me had some large blocks of various cheeses from Ashe County Dairy, and, the cheese was conveniently located right next to some six packs of beer. Party fixings all in one convenient place - who knew? I guess there's more than one reason why these are called convenience stores. I like Heritage. It's an old-time store but with all the modern things that make a convenience store convenient.

Our fitter was incredible, and really helped our dancer problem solve (dancer's normal shoes are experiencing a supply shortage and her feet have pretty specific needs.) We were impressed with not only how decent this store's stock is, but also how hard our fitter worked to find back-ups for our dancer. She was more than willing to keep pulling shoes and trying different combinations. Additionally, she was very knowledgeable and would share her observations on each fit, but she was also completely respectful of our dancer, listening to her thoughts on each pair. We went in hoping to find even one pair of shoes and found four. This shop saved our dancer's last two weeks of SI! Definitely the best fitter in the Raleigh/Durham/Cary area!

The store is clearly marked and has a good selection of everything dance from shoes to uniforms. Prices are high but I think they are in line with other specialty dance shops . Displays were nice. Plenty of parking.

The store was quite pleasant and sizable inside. To get any deals you had to sign up with their rewards program, which I couldn't figure out how to do during my hurried visit. Thus, the prices that I found were on the higher side, but I got a lot of vegetables and fruits of quality ranging from good to marginal and a few niche special dietary items like banana milk. There was only one person working a register so I ended up finding the self-checkout, which worked out fine.

We got cookies, a mango lassi and a facial serum my wife loves. The owner and her daughter greeted us and even showed us around the new complex and where some of the neighboring shops and restaurants will be. We look forward to returning when they are fully stocked.
