Worst experience I have ever had. I will start with the pros then the cons.
Pros: Our sales associate Blake was very friendly and even while under a lot of stress, he kept a positive upbeat attitude and made sure to not let us wait too long before assisting us, even though they were short staffed, and he was having to help another guest as well.
Cons: While our sales associate was great with his customer service skills, he was new and from what I can see, still needed some training but since they are so short staffed, they are throwing inexperienced sales associates to the floor without offering to assist them. He had to keep asking for help and the other sales associates seemed annoyed by his questions. We arrived at 5 when they closed at 7, two hours should be more than enough time to switch over to them as a wireless provider, trade in our phones and get our screen protectors put on etc. and out the door. Well, it wasn't. We were there until 7:30 and kicked out even though our phones were not set up or information crossed over. I had to ask to put just my screen protector on. It wasn't our sales associate's fault, the manager and other employees there made sure to keep making comments about how it was time to leave and that he would have to close up by himself because they weren't going to wait. No one offered to help this new young man, they rather watch the football game instead of lending a helping hand SO THAT THEY COULD LEAVE. This store is a joke and it's sad that they don't help one another out.
Had to go back today to trade in the phones, since they didn't get to that either the other night in the 2 1/2 hours we were there. That surprisingly did go smoothly, and I just called AT&T to make sure all went through correctly - which it did. Then there was the issue of the screen protector. No one seemed to know how to put it on. How do you work in an AT&T store selling phones and protectors for $60 - yet don't know how to place them on the phones? They messed it up twice and one gentleman particular kept making comments of how he was messing it up even though he said he knew how to put it on. My fiancé had to start making a scene because once again the visit was almost 2 hours long just to trade in phones and put on a screen protector. Apparently if your patient and laid back they take advantage of you - so better off going in as a "Karen" straight from the start (Just some advice). Finally, the manager came out and gave us a new screen protector and told us to go somewhere else to have someone put it on - he said to go to best buy. That is shameful and sad. Now we have to waste more time out of our day to find a best buy to correct the ideocracy you have going on in your store, and who knows what they may charge us. Horrible visit will never go back there again, save yourself the time and aggravation and go to a different AT&T store. read more
