Came in to upgrade from my iPhone 13 Pro, and Refugio, who helped me, was awesome. I told him I was looking at the iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone Air, and he showed me the difference between the two, went over the deals I could get for both phones, and even talked me through my current data plan and possible upgrades. He was really cool to talk to while we went through the whole process. He wasn't pushy, but still let me know about the difference between upgrades and accessories available. I joined AT&T a few months ago, but I was unable to receive short-code messages. AT&T could not resolve the problem, so they asked me to change my phone number. I changed it at this store, but they did not properly review my account or update everything correctly. As a result, I was charged back the $800 reward I received for switching to AT&T. I called customer service many times and spent almost two hours on some calls. Some representatives told me they couldn't understand me because of my accent, and some calls were disconnected. Even after I confirmed my phone number, they never called me back. Every time I called again, I had to explain the entire situation from the beginning. After all this, I do not recommend AT&T. I feel that customers are not a priority for this company. read more

Who ever is managing this Tampa store needs to call me immediately. I have been an AT&T customer for over 20 years, my businesses, my family lines... but today I just got treated like a piece of dirt at the Tampa store. I was at the store trying to get 2 SIM cards for my lines, I have clients coming from overseas I want to give them to use. Everything was going smoothly until... I told the personal helping me my clients are coming from China, that's where this manager Nelson stepped in and told me he can't give me the SIM cards until they verify the cellphones IMEN numbers. I told Nelson they will land at LAX at 5:30PM and will fly out again next day morning. Still NO! Nelson starts to get aggressive. Me: can I talk to a manager? Nelson: I am the manager! AT&T sucks I have been watching hbo max for more than 10 years now they tell me they don't have hbo max so how have I been watching it

Just horrible. We were told my mother was receiving the 55+ with unlimited data, for a set price. Last week we were told that our discount would be retroactive once the auto-pay was done. That is not true, and it takes 3 billing cycles to show the discount. Then.... no one would close out my grandmother's account, and she passed away. We even had the death certificate. Told me needed to call another number to do it. Lastly.... we had phones to be activated. The associate was not able to do so. And after everything, wanted to charge $30 to activate ATT phones. No manager on site either to assist with anything. I'm so furious.... This is not how you do business with the public. read more

This isn't the first issue I've had with rude employees at this store, thinking maybe things may have changed in over a year since this visit. Was helped by Bella just before closing after I had waited for about 45-50 min. Bella was extremely rude as if it was a bother to help me activate a new phone (purchased from Apple Store) for my son. She turned off my iphone and ported it over to my sons new phone. When I realized, I informed her she made a mistake turning my phone service off and porting my number to my sons new phone and not turning his service on. She became increasingly condescending instead of being showing good customer care for her mistake. It's like they treat you like shit if they're not selling a new phone or adding a new line. Based on her demeanor of laughing and joking with the family of 4 that signed up getting 4 new iphones she just helped just prior to me. Management at this store continues to hire these untrained rude ass staff and encourage this behavior towards customers that don't purchase from them or get upgrades from their store. read more

If you need to get new phone update plan have absolutely any questions big or small please please ask for Edwin. I had the most amazing experience bc of him. I had an absolute train wreck of a day with my old phone and I was not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with this situation and we went to AT&T I had little hope to get anything resolved and thanks to Edwin I was able to not only get a new phone we learn a lot of important information. He was the absolute best. I could not be more grateful and happy with the service and experienced provided by Edwin. If you even go to do buy a simple case he's going to be the most helpful and it'll make you feel like you just met up with a long time friend. So... still with At&T.... they have me done great deals to stay though... my original not so good experience was followed by an ok one. I was almost content with them again, but now, nope! Bought a screen protector - MASSIVELY overpriced, but mine had cracked (pretty new to have done so - it was probably still under warranty. They had sold it to me, but didn't mention it when I said it had cracked...) I learned about the warranty when I brought the second one back, after problems AGAIN within a week. The new one wouldn't let me use my fingerprint... and cracked badly after a very minor drop. They wouldn't give me my money back; only offered a replacement (even though it was only a week ago and the thing was basically a piece of very expensive, and fairly useless crap.) They had nobody working the register, so would have had to wait at least half an hour to get someone to ring up a replacement screen protector to have in a drawer as a backup only for an emergency because it really doesn't work. Class act, guys. I bought one on Amazon for a 2 pack at about a ¼ of the price - it reads my fingerprint just fine. I'm really thinking hard again about leaving AT&T. Have a few services with them that make prices more reasonable. Not sure the aggravation is worth it. read more

I got AT&T because I was fed up with Spectrum. Upon getting AT&T the internet was great but getting onto the apps was a nightmare. The AT&T technical reps could not solve the problem on the phone. Whoever is running this store are a bunch of SCAMMERS! Especially do not go to Chris, you have been warned! He basically made me get an insurance for my phone that doesn't even work for my phone. He also stated, and I have all the evidence because he gave me a paper with all the info he wrote down, that I was able to trade in my phone and even gave me the amount for the trade in and now they're not honoring the price because apparently they have no idea when their "promotions" even end. The "manager" if you can even call her that her name is Alex and is one of the worst managers I have ever encountered. A very nasty, ill mannered woman. I have been an At&t customer for over 15 years and this is the worst service I have ever received. The icing on the cake? Call customer service instead. Four stars for the wait times. I was told that it would be faster to reschedule my Internet installation by going into the store rather than calling the 800 number. NOT. Maybe this particular day was just a busy day. Anyway, very spacious store with plenty of seating for distancing yourself. Saw tons of associates walking around with quite a few customers waiting. I can't really explain that at all. I was finally helped by Jason who took time with me to make sure my needs were met. I was very pleased with his service and professionalism. This location use to have great representatives when I first signed up for a business account. Within this last year, their customer service has been horrible. Today, the woman I spoke with (Veronica) had a bad attitude. I wanted to trade in my phone and needed some details explained on the process of doing so. She was not giving me her full attention and was busy talking to other people in the store. When she finally made eye contact and paid attention for that short time, she rushed the conversation instead of giving full details as I asked for. I am very close to cancelling my plan overall to go with other companies that would appreciate my business. It took my company manager 1 year to finally get our billing payment cycle right. A lot of phone calls back and forth with customer service and finally got it figured out. Today, my experience at a corporate facility was not good at all, maybe an exception for the gentlemen at the front taking in reservations as he was very helpful. I don't feel comfortable doing any other transaction with this particular corporate store, I am hoping that AT&T corporate overall does an overview of how their Sales representative treats their customers. Luis helped me upgrade to the new Samsung Fold 5 and took full advantage of their promo for upgrading any Samsung phone, no matter the condition. Honestly where do I begin... ATT corporate should do a better job of auditing their stores. I came in to 8 customers ahead of me when I saw at least 5 ATT staff members in the store. The employees switch 2 in and 2 out and go to the back and never come out every 30 minutes. I waited more than an hour just to give my old phone for a trade in. No employee here even checks in with you once you walk in. I'm not one to complain about stuff like this but just absolute horrible customer service. read more

Went on Thursday around 1:30pm and it was empty so no wait. The friendly guy Adrian helped us out with everything. He was very nice, well-mannered, and patient. He helped us out with all the little details and we were with him for about 4 hours to change our service from metro to AT&T. He also recommended to trade in my moms and my current phone. Horrible managerial experience. My phone service keeps getting suspended and I came into the store for assistance on Saturday the 5th.. the manager Eric claimed he would take care of it... didn't call me back on Saturday. I called Sunday and was told what I need to provide. I provided that to them Monday morning... texted for any updates... no response, crickets again. I texted him Tuesday and nothing again. I've been calling the store all morning and surprise surprise, no answer. I left a message for the "manager" and still no updates. I wouldn't even say it's bad "customer service" because there is no service provided. Yelp needs to allow 0 or negative stars!! read more
