From what I can tell this place put an extra $400 to $600 in "fees" on us. I do not believe I would pay this at a real Verizon store. I went ahead and paid the fee for the human assistance. At the 2 hour mark it was obvious that the store wifi was too slow to complete the data transfer this century I went home with instructions on how to complete the setup and to call back to store for assistance Well I needed to call the store and could only get robots and China on the phone I could not call the store So I drove back. The guy working told me how to do it and I came home and am almost finished hours later I should have ordered the phone from Verizon and done the setup at home If you must go to a store go to a real Verizon I also tried to call corporate Verizon for help I finally got past the robots to a human for technical assistance and it was China again She spent 20 minutes trying to upsell me. If you do hand over your device to these people make sure you back it up and erase it first to prevent identity theft. And don't get there when they are scheduled to open at 10AM, they always seem to be "running late", plan on giving them an extra 15-30 minutes for arrival.

When I got there the owner was very apologetic because something came up that he had to leave to handle and his other tech was out for the day. They had tried calling me repeatedly a few minutes after I had called. Since I called from my land line and no one was home I didn't get the message. My charging port was wonky and my headphone jack didn't work. He said let me check and realign a couple things and see if I can get it working without taking it apart. It took him about 10 minutes and both issues were repaired. He jumped into his truck and took off. When the woman billed me the minimum labor charge she said that if the repairs don't hold up, bring it back and they would replace the whole assembly and credit me with the labor. Nice folks, very professional and knowledgeable.

I have done a lot of business with Zagg and…read morethis particular location in the past with mine and my family's devices (about 6 devices) as well as my company's devices (approximately 173 devices). I understand that there was an increase in price as every thing has increased due to inflation and that is fine (included photo is of their price increase). But the gentleman that I'm not used to seeing there kept pressuring me to upgrade my screen protector since he stated that they no longer carry the one I had on my phone any more and as he searched for it I was able to see that they have two of the screen protector that I had on my phone. This constant up selling and the constant pressure was making me very uncomfortable about the situation. According to the gentleman that handled my case I can either upgrade for an additional $40.00 or downgrade my screen protector. I did not have the additional funds for the upgrade so I needed up down grading this screen protector even though I had seen the screen protector in their drawer. This deceptive practice of forcing the consumer to upgrade for a significant increase in price or to downgrade the protection threat was not appropriate nor appreciated. I think I might have to start looking for another replacement screen protective device from another company and I'd advise that others do the same or face the possibility of them trying to pressure you to upgrade for a enormous fee or downgrade your protection even though they have your screen protector in their drawers - as it appears that they use the deceptive practices of bait and switch.
