Had to replace my iPhone and I braved the polar vortex to have them insurance order a new one. The staff was helpful and weren't too pushy for all the products phone companies now push on people. As bad as it gets! Our monthly charges keep escalating from $220 to over $300/month without any subscription changes over 24 months. Very deplorable service! This is a corporate store, that is the first thing to mention! I have been to a NON-Corporate store and had a much better experience, that I will admit! Now this is a simple upgrade from my old Iphone to a new 7 Plus. What a deal too, went in and got the offer for a free phone (after a few months) when I signed up for Direct TV, and I get $300 is gift cards and this great rate from Direct TV....WOW, to good to be true. Yes, it appears it was! Now long story short, I was sold a total bunch of CRAP! They sent one card $100 then claimed two month later that they never had a program for $300. I have spent HOURS on the phone with both Direct TV and AT&T. I did get the manager to credit my account for $100 but that doesn't change the fact that they sold me something and then later claimed they never offered it. I've been screwed here before with a useless, outdated, low memory Ipad Mini and WILL NEVER go back here. I have bought headphones, cases, screen protectors and more from this place and I am done! Next step is to see if there are a lot of people who have also been lied to and mislead from this location or from AT&T as a whole, maybe a BBB letter or State Attorney General is a better road! I was having issues with network connection on my business phone that I do not have account authorization for as I work for an international company. The rep I was working with gave me about 5 mins of his time and then had me call customer service via the store landline. He then proceeded to pack up and leave work while I was still waiting on the phone. Terrible customer service, especially to a woman who is 7 months pregnant. After about 30 mins waiting on the phone, I approached another rep (Daryl) who took the time to to call customer service himself and got connected way faster. He could tell I was frustrated and was extremely patient with me and ultimately helped resolve my issue. Huge shout to daryl "d" for redeeming my experience at the store. read more

Obviously a cell phone store is it always going to have the best reviews. At least be warned that I agree with a lot of other reviewers here at this place likes to use the ol' "bait and switch" routine. I went in for a new line for my son. Due to "current promotions" I was told I could actually upgrade my wife and I's phones as well, and end up paying the same amount per month. I ended up leaving with three upgraded phones, and a changed plan. The numbers made sense. We checked and rechecked and confirmed our monthly payment four times. My wife thought it sounded too good to be true and had confirmed to her too. Well, it was too good to be true. It was just a scam. When we got our bill, it ended up being $30/month more than they promised. And there's nothing we can do about it now. read more

After having sprint for more than 10 years i gave up and switched to at&t. I repeatedly say that it was the best decision ever. Recently we added my husband to my account- the process was easy and painless thanks to Tyler at the Maple Grove store. Again and again i am impressed with the customer service with at&t- especially compared to sprint. Update: i called to ask about the iphone 7 pre-order. I was giving inaccurate information and now have to wait over a month for the phone. read more

My first experience in this store working with Denise in February 2019 resulted in me canceling my ATT service. My second experience was this evening. My son recently started working at ATT and he took me to this store to set up phone service. We entered the store at 7:25pm. There were two women on the floor each helping someone with us being next in line. We waited almost 10 minutes without someone helping or acknowledging us. The one woman ( I believe her name is Shalonda) finished with her customer and instead of coming to help us, started doing other things. I approached her and asked if we could get some help. Her response with attitude, "well were closing soon so if you have a quick question I can help you or you will need to come back another day". Now at this point, I thought it must be close to closing time. My son and I walk to the car and he says, "that is strange it is only 7:35pm". We decided to try to at least get a quote. We walked back in. No one approached us or acknowledged us. Shalonda continued to do closing tasks and decided to finish in the back. Another couple walk in. No one approaches them or acknowledges them. After 5 minutes Denise asked the couple if they had an appointment otherwise they can not be helped. They asked her "are you the only one working here? she replied yes, everyone else is in the backroom. They wait a few more minutes looking confused and leave. Merrick came from the back and introduced himself. Denise yells from a sitting position with customers sitting in front of her, "he is new, he knows nothing and cannot help you". She completely undermined him. I felt terrible. He stood there for a few moments with a smile on his face. Merrick explained he saw us standing there and wanted to make sure we were acknowledged. This new guy who "knows nothing", knows how to give GREAT customer service. He made us feel welcomed and deescalated any negative feelings i had towards At&t. Denise finishes with her customers and walks over to us. She looks at Merrick and the first thing she says, "are you leaving"? Again, just dismisses him. Rude. He does not deserve to be treated that way. Denise turns the model phones side ways and with attitude says, "well I cannot do anything for you, what would you like"? It is at this point, I remember she was the one I worked with in February, which resulted in me leaving AT&T. I ask Denise the name of the person in the back and she says, "why, your going to turn her in because she has work to do"? She refused to give me her name. We explained my son works for AT&T and we would like information about getting service. Denise's behavior changed but she continued to struggle to not have attitude. I have worked in retail for many years. If I was Denise and Shalonda, I would have acknowledged each person who walked through the door. I would help anyone who came in before 7:30pm and set up appointments with customers who came in after 7:30pm (if that is store policy). I would have thanked Merrick for helping out and not yell in front of other customers, rather excused myself and then returned to them. I would not put closing tasks in front of waiting customers. There was so many other options denise could have been taken. Terrible experience. warranty ng I called customer service at AT&T. I was told that I had to take my new Samsung phone into a store to get a store to get a new phone under the warranty.I called Blaine and Fridley was told they couldn't help me. The Coon Rapids store told me they couldn't help me. They told me to go to the Maple Grove stores. The first store immediately told me that they couldn't help me and sent me to the second store. The manager of the second Maple Grove store informed me that he couldn't give me any help and told me to call the AT&T tech line. So, I sat at the store called the and tech line for the third time(being told three different things.) After speaking with the tech line again for more than 40 minutes, I was told they would replace my phone. I was told I would get the new phone in 6 to 10 days but could pay for next day shipping! I wasted more than 5 hours doing what AT&T told me what to do. My day was very frustrating and AT&T did not help! read more

Went there to purchase a sim card twice. I was told I had to wait at least 45 minutes both times. The second time I dealt with the manager, Susan who was rude, condensing and tried to tell me I could not have a conversation with other people in "her" store. 40 minutes later I walked out of "her" store without receiving the help I needed. The manager needs training on people skills, she needed to get in the last word every time and was a bunglinig idiot. My cat could have provided me with better customer service. I wil now take my business to a different AT&T store. My advice for this store is to hire a different manager with a better attitude. read more

We switched from Verizon to At&t and wanted new iPhones. This at&t didn't have the iPhones so this dude literally drive to 2 different at&ts in different cities just to get them for us. That's good customer service. read more

Went here with my husband to get him a new iPhone. The young sales guy tried to convince us to get rid of our unlimited data plan for a 5GB data plan. I know from thorough research that the 5GB plan would not be enough for us and that our best option data-wise and cost-wise is unlimited. He would not take no for an answer. We ended up telling him FIVE TIMES that we wanted to stick with our unlimited data plan. So, not only was he misleading saying that 5GB would be more than enough, he was combative and rude when we declined. Needless to say we left without buying a thing. Customers should not leave a store feeling talked into something. I will never come back to this store. I purchased my 3rd iPhone online in October and we'll be doing that moving forward. Trying to convince some pushy sales kid that we know what we want is just not worth my time. read more

Was not interested in actually helping us get a replacement phone. When I suggested she work on her customer service skills she looks appalled. The look was priceless and I hope we figured it out. Having read the other reviews, I was hesitant about going to this store. But I knew exactly what I wanted (I was just getting a phone upgrade and switching to one of their "next" plans) and it was not far from me so I figured I would give it a shot. Immediately when I walked through the door I was personally greeting with a rep. There was about 4-5 other reps there too but with people, so it was a fairly busy time. She asked what I was looking to do, I told her the specific phone I wanted, she put my name and phone number into her iPad (I assumed some sort of new system they have because all the other reps had them too) then she went to the back to make sure they had it. She came back to confirm they did and said someone would be with me shortly to help (I think her job was just to greet and such). I barely waited (maybe 5 mins) and already I was being helped. We got the phone fast, talked about the plans (he was very knowledgeable about trading my phone in and the two different plans), he used his iPad do get everything all figured out and to setup the phone, and we finished everything out. I was very pleased with my time at this store and they definitely have better customer service (than their Yelp score shows) as of recently. Maybe they saw their poor rating and did something about, bravo to them! read more

The people who work there have a real attitude. I spoke to Lewis today and he was quite unpleasant. Went to get a replacement screen protector and was told that there have been many exceptions made on my account anWait times are outrageous. Was told 30-45 minutes and workers were in the back of the store looking at a computer. You definitely should not waste your time at this store. I purchased a new iPhone from this store. They overcharged my credit. I tried calling the store since I live an hour away, but they won't answer the phone. I called 5 times in 45 minutes, kept getting disconnected. I wanted to add $150 down payment, plus my $240 trade in for a down payment to keep my monthly bill down. Guess what, they have a max down payment of $285, was never told this. So they charged $264 to my credit card, $150 of which was supposed to be toward my down payment was instead put toward my bill. They other $114 dollars went towards the down payment and tax. Them simply picking up the phone would have saved me 3 hours of my time on the phone and driving an hour each way to the store. The manager sent and email to get the charges reversed but wouldn't know if it will be able to be reversed till the next day. This took him 2 minutes to do and could have been done with me on the phone. Saving me 3 hours of my time. read more

OMG!!! I was compelled to move from TMobile due to poor coverage... but I miss their customer service! The AT&T "retail" store in Hastings did not have in stock the phones that were out on display, but the tech had already started my account set-up so they had nullified my old phone number/service. They directed me to Target or Walmart to purchase an AT&T phone, but I had to return to their retail store because the account process had already been started? Come home and can not make a call from phone, the tech's at the Hastings retail store had set me up with an incorrect account - data only!?! So unhappy with the customer service so far I can't see straight. read more

He went above and beyond for me for almost 4 consecutive hours while assisting me with my new phones. Lewis is the only reason I am still with AT&T and I will no longer shop at another AT&T location.
