Add one more voice to Jay and A2Z's stellar rating. I happened to be in the neighborhood getting some skates sharpened and saw A2Z's sign so I stopped in. I'd been looking for a tablet and had no experience with them at all. I am fairly computer Savey having been a software developer for 40+ years but tablets were something of a mystery to me. Jay & chatted for 15-20 minutes, talked about my needs and what I intended to use it for. Jay offered to send me some info on a couple of new tablets he knew about and could order. He also mentioned a different model available at the local "big box" store. I checked out his suggestions plus the big box option that he had mention and it turns out the big box store had a "just introduced" version of his suggested tablet that had a larger screen, more storage and a slightly better processor than his suggestions. Plus it was a few bucks cheaper. All in all I did end up getting the big box tablet but I really appreciated all of Jay's time and effort that he put in with helping me figure out what would work for me and the price range I would be looking at. I went back there the next day to show him the new tablet and got a screen protector from him. He was just the help I needed and did it even if it didn't earn him very much. I work in IT but not on phones, so when my girlfriend's phone took a swim and the touchscreen stopped working entirely I started my search for someone who could help quickly. I called several shops around the metro and was met with some pretty ridiculous quotes and just a general feeling that they didn't care about my problem. Then I found A2Z wireless. Cracked my screen on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and called around for quotes on a replacement screen. Jay quoted me by far the lowest price (it's a particularly expensive screen to fix), so took my phone in. Rather than sink my money into an older phone, he offered me a used, reasonably priced phone to upgrade to and then worked diligently to retrieve all of the data off of my broken phone which apparently took him quite some time. Super appreciative of all of the work he put into getting me set up. I was going in thinking it was going to be a days long repair, but I left with a functioning phone and he worked some serious magic to get the data transferred over. After making a couple calls I spoke with Jay at A2Z Wireless his price was on the low end of the prices I was being quoted and Jay was able to answer all my questions confidently. The hours of operation were very accommodating. I also liked the fact that he had a store front. I was really impressed with the speed (about 15 minutes) and quality replacement of my screen. Oh my god, if you are looking for a quick screen repair for your phone! I woke up in a drunken haze on New Years Day, (40 minutes late for work because my alarm clock didn't go off due to my phone being COMPLETELY shattered between the blurred events of the night.) No idea what happened but my phone seriously looked in worse condition than me, like it had been ran over by a damn garbage truck. I live in the Longfellow neighborhood and found this gem right down the road. I walked in with no appt and was in and out in under an hour! AN HOUR! The owner, Jay, is super friendly and seemed to be VERY knowledgeable about technology. Plus,the prices were good. I only paid $100 for a brand new screen. My insurance would have been double that. AND I would have had to wait for a phone to be sent to me. I cant go 3 to 4 days without my phone, hell naw.
