Had an LG-G2 with cracked screen and proximity sensor that didn't work. Decided to try the Apple Valley location as it was about 15 miles away. Went in, and found they had an LG screen in stock. The replaced the screen, added a great screen protector and I was out in under 1 hour. Unfortunately, I didn't check while at store, and found proximity sensor was bad - the screen would go dark on out-bound calls and wouldn't come back on. The store employee asked if I could bring it back for a sensor replacement. Had to order one and in about 4 days, he called and the sensor was replaced. Worked like it should, and no more "funky" suggested work-arounds or self- fixes. Not sure about YELP policies, but want to commend the employee that handled the repairs - and for privacy reasons, his name is Casey. A real pleasure to deal with him, polite, professional and has the technical skills to fix my phone. Not only have I started recommending the Apple Valley location and Casey, but it was great for a fix while waiting without an appointment. Highly recommended. Thanks, Casey ! read more

I dropped my iPhone and screen cracked. I had someone else "fix" the phone which was to take only an hour yet 3 days later, I got my phone back and the sound didn't work. I purchased a new iPhone and passed this one to my daughter after going to Gophermods to see what they could do. It was the BEST choice I have made yet with cell phones. They knew what they were doing, did not rip me off and completely made me trust them. They got the sound to work and offered for us to come back at no cost if it went out again. Sadly, my daughter dropped her iPhone again and the screened cracked again. I will be going back to Gophermod in AV for sure. They are quick, use all quality parts, do not try to get you to spend more then you need and their customer service is awesome! I highly suggest Apple Valley Gophermods to EVERYONE! read more

I don't spend a lot of time writing reviews (after all, I pay them for their service, so I expect them to meet my expectations), but when I encounter a business that is 100% about customer service, has an amazingly simple process, follows up on their service, provides great value for the dollar, and is as well run as this organization, I feel compelled to do everything I can to help them with their success. I have taken 2 iPads to them (separate ones) for repair now, and in both circumstances they charged me a very reasonable rate, they finished the work ahead of the quoted time, they communicated rapidly and efficiently with me, and the work was 100% what I paid for. I think I have encountered 3-4 of their employees and each and everyone was polite and customer service orientated. I cannot recommend this place more!!! read more

Gophermods customer service is truly world class. I recently had an issue with my iPhone which I initially brought to a big box retailer and was quoted $385 to fix, I called Gophermods and was told over the phone Gophermod could probably fix it for under $100 but still wanted to see the device to perform a more detailed and comprehensive diagnostic analysis. Upon bringing in the device the specialist at Gophermod found out the device simply needed to be cleaned and did it at no charge. These guys are truly here to consult on the best approach to fix your device and have no intention on performing repairs unnecessarily just to make money. They are honest and have more integrity than anyone I have every worked with. This was my second time using Gophermods and I can promise I will be a customer for life. read more

I stopped into Gophermod repair in Eagan to repair my shattered S4 screen. They didn't have the screen on hand, but contacted the store in Apple Valley and sent me there, as they had one in stock. The Apple Valley technicians quoted me a price & time frame for my phone repair. I received my phone the very next day, in exactly the time frame I was told! The pricing was reasonable, the technicians knowledgeable, professional & friendly. They're repairs even come with a warranty. For anyone that has accidentally damaged their phone & gone through the panic of 'now what'; not wanting to purchase a brand new one, I highly recommend Gophermod!! read more

GopherMods is the place to go, no question! I was not able to charge my phone because something was wrong where I could not plug a charger into it. GopherMods were prompt from the time they answered the phone to fixing my phone! They are super honest and very helpful. They were able to fix my phone at no charge because it did not need a replacement part. However, it took their tools and expertise to fix it on the spot. They are using PPE and sanitizing after each customer visit. They have a designated place for customers to stand and no one is allowed to touch the accessories for sale. I highly recommend them! read more

Tanner was phenomenal! My Samsung s7 Edge screen broke, making my phone useless as is. I purchased a new Samsung s9 phone, but AT&T was unable to transfer any unsaved contacts, photos or text messages from the old phone to the new phone. Tanner presented to me a few different options to achieve my goal! I primarily needed my contact list and photos, and 1 specific text. He was able to retrieve the contacts, photos AND last 6 months of texts!!! I had forgotten that there was a lot more than 1 special text in the past 6 months! I highly recommend Tanner and Gophermods - Apple Valley! read more

Both my iPhone 7 screen and my MacBook Air battery were replaced today by Michael at Gophermods - Apple Valley. My two service requests were processed immediately and repaired within the day. Extra care was taken to clean both items and multiple checks were performed to ensure that the battery and screen were installed properly, and both phone and computer were up to standards. Gophermods also offers an excellent warranty under Gophercare on repaired items. Overall, I highly recommend Gophermods for timely and comprehensive electronics repair. Thank you! read more

So thankful for this business and Jason, the manager there! I dropped my Ipad 4 and the screen shattered... After calling Best Buy and the Apple store (who were completely useless) I called Gophermods in Apple Valley. They were able to 100% completely fix my Ipad. It looks and works like band new! The turn around time was super fast and it was less than $150! The apple store told me there was no way to fix it and that I would need to buy a new one (for $700, no thanks!). I highly recommend going there if you have a similar issue! read more

I was there the other day. I was at the end of my ropes. I had been to several of my phone provider companies. They kept sending me everywhere, but wouldn't help me. So, Ace Hardware sent me to this place and Casey. He was Amazing! Just a breeze and had a great, chill attitude and just helped me with getting the screw out of my phone. So simple. But took the weight of the world off my shoulders. You guys have an Amazing employee. Thank you, Casey, for all your help. read more

I waited a while before I wrote a review just to make sure everything on my GalaxyS5 was working properly. They replaced my screen for me and everything works perfectly! The only very very small and really insignificant issue I had was around the outside edges there was a tiny bit of adhesive showing. I removed it with my finger nail and it looks as good as new. I would highly recommend these guys to fix your device for you and would absolutely use them again. read more

I was so happy with the service I received at Gophermods in Apple Valley. The folks working there are very friendly and helpful. The estimate time of repair was very reasonable but even with that they had my repair done in half the time. All was done very professionally and quickly. At pick up they double checked my device and cleaned it up for me before handing it to me. I would definitely go back then again. Just hope I don't have to! Terri read more

I brought in my Xbox one to gopher mods thinking it was probably dead, as I am a gamer that has killed many consoles. A few days later they called and told me it was actually just my power brick that was the problem and they weren't even going to charge me! Thank you SO much gopher mods! I was ready to go drop the $ on a new Xbox and all I needed was a new power brick that cost me 30$ on Amazon. Again, thanks gopher mods! I will return. read more

The glass on my beloved ipad broke and I continued to use it longer than I should have before I had it fixed. By the time I brought it into Gophermods, shards of glass were falling out of the case. Gophermod installed new glass, and got my ipad back to me in 1.5 days. Best price I could find on the net. I hope this glass lasts for the life of my ipad, but if not, I'll head right back to Gophermods. read more

Wow - after three stops in a frantic attempt to get my computer repaired someone suggested Gophermods in Apple Valley. They are Cordial, Assuring, and knew what they were doing and fixed the problem - I was in a panic thinking everything was gone on my computer. I have already recommended them to 3 people. They are my go to place now - and I live 30 miles away. Hats off to them. Janet Martin read more

We were sent to the Apple Valley Gophermods repair by Verizon after Verizon was unable to identify the problem with our I-Phone. Michael at Gophermods quickly identified the cause for the phone black screen and was able to reset the iPhone back to normal. The problem we solved and did not accept any payment. We would highly recommend Gophermods for electronic repair. read more

I broke my Iphone 5 screen. I shopped around trying to find a place that had competive pricing. I also looked into replacing my own screen. After finding gophermods, I decided to go with them. Service was quick and price was the best I could find. They went through a checklist when they were done to be sure everything worked as it was suppose to. Great Job!! read more
