Had an LG-G2 with cracked screen and proximity sensor that didn't work. Decided to try the Apple Valley location as it was about 15 miles away. Went in, and found they had an LG screen in stock. The replaced the screen, added a great screen protector and I was out in under 1 hour. Unfortunately, I didn't check while at store, and found proximity sensor was bad - the screen would go dark on out-bound calls and wouldn't come back on. The store employee asked if I could bring it back for a sensor replacement. Had to order one and in about 4 days, he called and the sensor was replaced. Worked like it should, and no more "funky" suggested work-arounds or self- fixes. Not sure about YELP policies, but want to commend the employee that handled the repairs - and for privacy reasons, his name is Casey. A real pleasure to deal with him, polite, professional and has the technical skills to fix my phone. I dropped my iPhone and screen cracked. I had someone else "fix" the phone which was to take only an hour yet 3 days later, I got my phone back and the sound didn't work. I purchased a new iPhone and passed this one to my daughter after going to Gophermods to see what they could do. It was the BEST choice I have made yet with cell phones. They knew what they were doing, did not rip me off and completely made me trust them. They got the sound to work and offered for us to come back at no cost if it went out again. Sadly, my daughter dropped her iPhone again and the screened cracked again. I will be going back to Gophermod in AV for sure. Gophermods customer service is truly world class. I recently had an issue with my iPhone which I initially brought to a big box retailer and was quoted $385 to fix, I called Gophermods and was told over the phone Gophermod could probably fix it for under $100 but still wanted to see the device to perform a more detailed and comprehensive diagnostic analysis. Upon bringing in the device the specialist at Gophermod found out the device simply needed to be cleaned and did it at no charge. I stopped into Gophermod repair in Eagan to repair my shattered S4 screen. They didn't have the screen on hand, but contacted the store in Apple Valley and sent me there, as they had one in stock. GopherMods is the place to go, no question! I was not able to charge my phone because something was wrong where I could not plug a charger into it. GopherMods were prompt from the time they answered the phone to fixing my phone! They are super honest and very helpful. They were able to fix my phone at no charge because it did not need a replacement part. However, it took their tools and expertise to fix it on the spot. They are using PPE and sanitizing after each customer visit. They have a designated place for customers to stand and no one is allowed to touch the accessories for sale. Tanner was phenomenal! My Samsung s7 Edge screen broke, making my phone useless as is. I purchased a new Samsung s9 phone, but AT&T was unable to transfer any unsaved contacts, photos or text messages from the old phone to the new phone. So thankful for this business and Jason, the manager there! I dropped my Ipad 4 and the screen shattered... After calling Best Buy and the Apple store (who were completely useless) I called Gophermods in Apple Valley. They were able to 100% completely fix my Ipad. It looks and works like band new! The turn around time was super fast and it was less than $150! The apple store told me there was no way to fix it and that I would need to buy a new one (for $700, no thanks!). I waited a while before I wrote a review just to make sure everything on my GalaxyS5 was working properly. They replaced my screen for me and everything works perfectly! The only very very small and really insignificant issue I had was around the outside edges there was a tiny bit of adhesive showing. I removed it with my finger nail and it looks as good as new. I would highly recommend these guys to fix your device for you and would absolutely use them again. read more

The estimate time of repair was very reasonable but even with that they had my repair done in half the time. All was done very professionally and quickly. I brought in my Xbox one to gopher mods thinking it was probably dead, as I am a gamer that has killed many consoles. A few days later they called and told me it was actually just my power brick that was the problem and they weren't even going to charge me! Thank you SO much gopher mods! The glass on my beloved ipad broke and I continued to use it longer than I should have before I had it fixed. By the time I brought it into Gophermods, shards of glass were falling out of the case. Gophermod installed new glass, and got my ipad back to me in 1.5 days. Best price I could find on the net. My iPhone 6+ lighting charging port was not staying connected when plugged in. I took it in expecting to spend a few dollars on a charging port replacement. Instead the owner was friendly and honest and said it was just some pocket lint. He took out the lint and now it is charging as good as new.
