I had the BEST experience at the Mansfield AT&T today, 10/2/15. Shaun is the most friendly and helpful associate at this location and other nearby locations. He was so helpful and extremely friendly getting another iPhone set up as well as paying a bill. So much better service than the Authorized Retailer AT&T in Walpole.... yikes! Only issue here is that they don't have seats or benches or tables for meeting with a specialist or waiting times, which I didn't like, as my service in another AT&T store had lots of high tables to speak with specialists, and there were TONS of waiting seats..... just a suggestion though! You know when you need to deal with customer service and you dread it, and you go in to the process with a chip on your shoulder ready to fight for your rights? Well, you don't need to do this at the AT&T Store in Mansfield as they are the most helpful folks. This was the second time I've been to this location in four months. The first time in July to buy a flip phone for my elderly mom. The second time to get a bit of guidance on this same flip phone. Both times I was waited on right away with professional, polite, knowledgeable sales staff. I'd like to say a special thank you to Alex for your help. You made my day! :) read more

The worst customer service ever!!! Went in and waited for 30min and nobody said anything to us. It was me and another girl waiting. Then someone walked in and all of the sudden the guy placing new phones in starts rattling off all this info to that person . Between listening to the sales people talk about traffic patterns and their favorite foods instead of moving things along because you know, lets just say....other people are waiting! I just had to leave. I came back about an hour later waited another 30min. FINALLY when one of them were done they ask me. Do you have any quick questions to ask me? Otherwise your going to have to wait until one of the other guys are done. My head almost exploded off my shoulders. Like seriously??? I waited another 10min then I went across the way and signed up with Verizon. Unorganized pathetic customer service. read more

Went to this store because we saw on the AT&T site that a tablet we wanted was in stock and we were looking for information on other services. Everyone was friendly but what really upset me was when I asked for said tablet I was told "we don't have any of those in stock". To which I followed it says you do on the site and he said those are for a pending business transaction then tried to sell me a different device. We ended up getting a the tablet we wanted shipped to our house. We would have stayed home and ordered it online as opposed to driving two towns over because a store said they had them in stock. This isn't on att it is on the retailer for not making sure their inventory was reflected properly. read more

I cannot stress how incompetent the staff is at this store. Even AT&T's 800 Service Center advised me not to go back to that store. I have never been able to get anything successfully ordered, activated or changed without needing to make a second trip to the store where a different staffer will tell me something completely opposite from what I was told originally. Manager Jonathan is rude, uninterested in trying to help people, and incapable of providing accurate and proper customer service when pushed to do so. When I leave AT&T, it will be almost solely due to the ignorance, poor attitude, and multiple screw-ups from these company employees who are an embarrassment to AT&T. Please find a different store to go to or call AT&T instead of having these people mess up your account! read more

Horrible experience, incompetent employees, and a manager who's no where to be found. I went in looking for a new phone (on Sunday) as my old iPhone 6 Plus has "touch disease" where the screen just stops working. Told the employee that I wanted the biggest screen and the best camera available. He proceeded to tell me that the new iPhone XR has the best camera and the screen is basically the same size as the iPhone XS Max with "a better processor." Told me that I'd have to order this phone and that I'd likely be without one until Friday. He told me that all of the online reviews said everyone prefers the XR over the XS phones. I ordered it believing him, (BIG MISTAKE!). Once I got home I started to research what this fool told me only to find out most in not everything he stated was false. I returned to the store and requested they cancel my order and get me a XS Max, but they said they couldn't cancel it as it was already shipped and that I'd have to wait for it to be delivered and return it. They then told me that they would not know until I came on Friday if they would have the phone I wanted in stock and that I "Could end up with the pink one." They then wanted my phone number so that the manager, who was out until that Friday to call me. I somehow had to explain to them that my phone was not functioning and that I would need a new phone prior to the manager calling me. I tried to file a complaint with the customer "Service" line but was hung up on, twice, because I didn't have my password available. Eventually I was connected with an associate from the Natick store who told me that the original salesperson was an idiot, and that he would put aside the phone I wanted if the Mansfield store didn't. He was exceptional. Now it is Friday and I have to bring back the phone I didn't want in exchange for one that they may or may not have, and may have to order and get shipped to my house. Terrible experience, incompetent employees, non-existent managers. After this trip I will never visit this store again, even though it is 5 minutes from my house. read more

Just got a replacement iPhone on my insurance, needed help setting up., the jackass salesman spoke to me very rudely, like I was bothering him.....oops for a minute there I thought I was in a cell phone store. The service at this store is horrendous and the staff does notunderstNd the concept of customer service. The first time I contacted customer service to confirm that I was allowed to access my sisters account,but iPad to go into the store. When I explained what their customer service explained to me the sales girl actually called me a liar and said I did not have access. This most recent visit I went into the store to pay my bill at about 7:50, store closing is 8. I was told that the kiosk was shut off and they would have to manually take my payment, the gentlemen was not even capable or unwilling to take my payment, but they were more than happy to take my cash and tell me my payment would be made first thing in the morning, asked for my cell# and email which I provided and confirmed that I would receive confirmation of the payment as well as my sister since she holds the account. At 2 the next day I still had no notification that my payment was made, so I contacted my sister and she had no confirmation either. I then called the store to speak with Jeff the store manager complaining that his staff should have been able to take care of the payment and that my money was taken but I was not given the confirmation I was promised this was at 2:19. He said that he spoke with his staff and they confirmed an email was sent and my sister should log into her account. I double checked my email and as of 9:30 pm still no email nor was the payment logged into the account, my sister however received an email confirmation at 2:27 pm after my complaints, so once again I had to tolerate a store manager inferring that I was not being honest about receiving an email. Fortunately my phone will be paid off very shortly and I will now cancel my account with at & t and switch to another category as I have no tolerance for sub standard customer service values especially coming from that field myself. read more
