A typical Verizon store. Parking is provided by the mall and is limited during high flow hours. Reservations are not required; however, one may not be seen or have a wait without a reservation. The online reservation process was miserable. I was unable to set one up by phone or laptop. My wife finally accomplished one. Only the next day was available. Note one must have a login to make a reservation. The store is generic and towards the small side. No chairs or benches are available. Handicapped patrons without a wheel chair will have to stand. Our attendant , Mo, was knowledgeable and professional. He was the best factor is our visit, and was able to find us a deal that fit our family. That said, available options for existing customers were limited and had minor savings. There is a big push to sell accessories. Check out prices elsewhere and online ! The mark-up was significant. If you are worried about leaving with a phone without a case and know the model you wish. Purchase the case or an inexpensive case before going to Verizon. They now are pushing a setup charge. This is the process the phone guide one through. If you've done it before or are technically minded do it yourself and save money. Note some models and colors are only available by mail. After calling and letting the phone ring for ten minutes, I gave up. All I wanted to do was return my ancient router. Verizon was supposed to mail me a postage paid label to send it back to them. After waiting a month for the label, I went to them. This location couldn't take the router. I was told that they are a different company. Fine. This is why I no longer have them for my internet. After being a loyal customer, I was given a terrible quote to renew my contract. No thanks. I've gone elsewhere. One employee gave me a sheet of paper with addresses and phone numbers. My husband's phone not working. It was almost closing time when we arrived. Store had a few other customers. When it was our turn to be helped, a gentleman assisted us. He asked female employee to help him. She took over. She tried to explain how to fix phone, but said she would have to show us. I explained my husband, who is ill cannot be without a phone. She looked at me and said "for an hour". She said come back tomorrow. My husband did return next day and phone was fixed. He asked to have screen protector changed. I had best experience at the Verizon Store in Mansfield. The service and help were excellent. I updated my phone and watch at the same time. The salesperson spent extra time looking for the best discounts and explained everything. Today I went back to ask a question and get some accessories. I don't know why I even bother coming to this store. They are always understaffed. Everything I come here the wait is unreasonable for the number of customers in the store. Bad store, long lines can be up to 30 minutes. I went into the store last summer to address something on my account. I had a hard sale to get some tablet device. Two days later I got a call asking me to come back in because there was something they forgot to have me sign. I complied and brought the devices to return them. I was told I would have to pay all sorts of fees and it was not that easy. It was a very hard sell. My guess is there was a bonus for signing people up. I went back once again after the 30 days and was told I could not get out of the plan without paying $150 per device. I felt like I visited one of those bad used car lots. read more

Although the people are nice, this is the worst store. No matter when you come, there is always a 30+ minute wait. This is the third time I've tried to come to the store to trade in my phone and was told I would have a 10 minute wait and have been here for 25+. It is poorly staffed and the time that it takes to resolve your issues are unacceptable. Currently, there are 12 customers here and 2 people working. Maybe train the greeter to help when it's busy? Arrived, and greeted by Amanda. She took our names down, and said that there was only one person in front of us. I asked (extremely politely) how long of a wait is it going to be. Amanda replied in an extremely rude tone "Sir, there's one person in front of you, that's how long you'll have to wait" We said okay, and walked to a different section of the store. I asked my wife, "am I crazy or was she just extremely rude" my wife said no. I asked my wife, I didn't give her attitude when asked her how long it would take, and she said no. I went into the store at 10am when it opened. I wanted to upgrade my twin sons Iphone 6. Kevin Hall told me no problem that I could upgrade, receive a $200 credit for each phone, all I had to do was upgrade my data plan to unlimited. I did this....then two hours later once I was passed off the Kevin Burke, the manager. He told me my sons phones did not qualify for the $200 credit each as they had TINY hairline crack that could not be seen by the average person's eye. I did not see them and still do not see them after pointed out to me. I politely told them that I did not want to continue with the purchase at that point. However I was told that I could not go back to the data plan that I had when I walked into the store. I had to keep the unlimited plan or go to the plan I had less the promotional 4GB that verizon gave me 2 weeks prior for being a loyal customer. Needless to say I spent 4.5 hours in total in the store and ending up leaving with the same two phones I had and a data plan that is only 18GB not 22GB. What sham.......classic Bait and Switch!!!! AVOID this store at all costs and Kevin H. and Kevin B. should be ashamed of themselves for illegal business practices! I will be switching my 5 lines over to AT&T, ASAP!!!!!! I have never been so thoroughly frustrated and turned off by a service provider in my life! Got there at opening. Not busy at all. I wanted to upgrade my daughter and my phone. In looking at the account, the gent realized that because my "service call" was started the night before by someone that wasn't working on Saturday, helped us but "half-assed" our service to the nth degree! After about 20 minutes into the visit, I realized that we both had upgrades available to us and he should check my records...."sorry, but you have to speak with Verizon and I cannot get them on the phone because we are so busy right now"...now mind you, as they are talking to you, they are also checking people in who come in the door (instead of having a kiosk where you can enter your name and not have to interrupt the people who are already being serviced...* I will address more about this later). I decide to go out to my car and call Verizon. About 1/2 hour later, go back into the much busier store. Put my name in the queue..* here is where I will really bark...the Manager or supervisor or whatever her title is is simply standing around waiting for the next person to walk through the door so she can check them in. (Big skill set needed for that job let me tell you). I ask her if she can help us - after waiting 20 minutes and My name was next, (as she was right there when I was there the first time, she knew were were ready to roll)..."no, sorry, checking people in".......without even looking at you. I say "uhm, there is no one in line".....ignore, uncomfortable giggle and walked on. Then my name is called. The guy knows that I am hardly tech savvy...rings up my phone, and all my accessories that I bought and never ported over my contacts or anything else from old phone!!!!!!! only realized after I got home. I have told everyone for years to NOT go to this store in Mansfield Crossing. TWICE they flim-flammed my 86 y/o dad. A few years ago they pushed a promotional tablet on him. Didn't explain to him that it came with a data plan! He never used it but was paying for data for 4 years! Recently he went in and they convinced him he needed a 5gb data plan and switched him over. (He never went over 1gb in months prior. Perhaps they could have looked at that?) THEN convinced him if he had a Verizon Jetpack that he would be safe from data overages and having to pay extra. They told him it was a One Time Payment and EVERYONE was doing it because of power outages. He thought that meant there was no monthly charges. Did I mention he is 86 years old! How much data do you think he needs!? I had to call customer service to fix this for him. They were great! Got him and his wife on a plan together, cancelled all the bullsh*t that the store tricked him into buying and he is paying less money now for two people then he was before. SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE IN MANSFIELD!!!!!!! ***DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!*** The Verizon Store in Avon on Stockwell Drive is the BEST!! I had to call them because they started to charge me an extra $10/month and I wanted to know why. I got a rep named Danny, very pleasant and talked me into upgrading my internet service for only $5 additional a month and a higher speed and for 2 years! I thought wow how can you go wrong! Well once I got off the phone and then received an email from Verizon confirming my order and the charge was for $59.99 a month not $54.99 what Danny had me sign up for! I called CS back and the "girl" that answered the phone I could barely understand and also swear that she works for another call center because her voice was so distinct anyway that's another story but seriously I was getting no where then I asked to speak to her manager and spoke with a "male" who indicated that there was no way I could have possibly gotten a deal like that and basically accused me of lying! I explained that your calls are recorded why don't you listen because it is clear that your reps are misleading customers and this was not the first time this has happened and this is the reason why I will never use a cable provider ever! I e def up going with my original contract for 50/50 at $49.99 because I had no choice! Please be aware of this scam or "bait and switch " that Verizon had been doing for years to their customers I don't want anyone else to go through the 1 1/2 hours of frustration that I went through! My aunt was at this location yesterday as her iPhone was unable to hold a charge. She waited in line for over 45 minutes only to be told she needed to go to the Apple store to by a new battery. Mind you, the man helping her never looked up her account to find out her plan or any other details. She was not satisfied with this answer and wanted to speak with someone else. She was told she'd have to get back in line and wait another 45 minutes. Clearly, that was not happening. She ended up speaking with a gentleman named Kevin Burke. He could not be more helpful. He took the time to look up her account and noticed she was eligible for a replacement phone. According to my aunt, he profusely apologized for her experience prior to getting to him and she walked out of their thrilled. Thrilled enough to call me and ask if I would post a glowing review on her behalf. She is 80+ years old and not computer savvy. read more

Fios has the worst customer service ever! I asked for one and only one specific channel (Viceland), I was promised the channel with the package I got, paid for it, set it up, and I don't have the channel and I'm being told I need to pay $40 more for it with a package upgrade. They told me there was nothing they could do about the channel being promised to me. They also have a lot of hidden fees and extra charges that they don't tell you about and surprise you with your first bill. I will be switching to cox after my contract! read more

Greeted quickly enough and waited about 10 minutes on a Saturday morning. Not bad. Then, when it came to service, that's when it all came apart. Let the gentleman (shorter, shaved head, maybe a goatee) know that my daughters iPhone 5s was "searching" for service. He popped the SIM card out, popped it back in, and when it said "searching" again, he said, "you need a new phone." No other diagnosis was done, but just the statement about needing a new phone. Well, I walked a few stores down to the MAC store, and they were kind enough to test it, even putting one of the employee's SIM card in the phone. Sure enough, it got service! Isn't that incredible?!? Instead of dismissing the customer and trying to sell something that is NOT needed, maybe they should take a couple of seconds to actually solve a problem. I was so fired up that I decided not to go back to the Mansfield store in order to avoid lighting this kid up on his uncaring, dismissive, and arrogant diagnosis. I went to the Franklin store, he quickly swapped out the SIM card and we were on our way. Won't return to Mansfield and would never spend a dime in that store. read more

My phone died this am, so I went to this store to find out about turning on an older one I had sitting in a drawer until the insurance replacement showed up ($149 deductible, by the way. Never seen mandatory insurance that covers so little it's almost pointless. I can buy the same phone off ebay for $99) I was told it would be about a 40 minute wait. I can't work without a phone so I went and sat with the other people waiting, and watched as many people came in and just left. Great service, Verizon. Highest priced plans in the industry and customers that are suckered into them have to deal with their time being blatantly wasted while not 1 but 2 employees "check people in" and do nothing to help the people waiting. I finally get my "turn" and the same person that checked me in simply turned my old phone on right there on the same tablet he checked me in with and wandered around with after. Complete waste of my time and was the last straw for me. 10 years with Verizon as my provider and the prices and fees just keep going up, so much for loyalty. I was happy to hear I no longer am in a contract with them, so I walked over to the Sprint store and will be saving $100 a month for the same plan, and the deductible for a new phone if one gets damaged is just the $30 activation fee. Now to dump my $130 a month Fios plan and never look at anything Verizon again. read more

I took my tablet there because it wasn't charging for me. I thought it was the cord. She looked at it & yelled out "It is FILTHY!! What did you get in it?? I have to take this out back...it is a mess!!". I was speechless!!! I didn't get to explain that plug may of had some flour in it because I am a baker & it is in my kitchen. I had a problem with a new phone that I had for only 8 days original all sale was MN adequate in North Attlebiro. I had business in Mansfield answer stopped in. Waited 15 might uses with 3 ahead of me. No problem. But one central served, I was there for THREE HOURS. four employees could not straighten out the problem. The manager, did not interveine but did not. My sales person Amanda was very nice, she did the best she could as did The tech person that tried to help. One big problem is that there is no place to sit in this very bustle store. There are two low padd ed do benches for 4 people, but this store is crazy busy a b day there is not a single chair in the place. After 3 aggrivating hours, my feet hurt, I was irritated from the lack of communication concern by the manager and they wanted to charge me a $35 restocking fee to replace a glitchy phone I b only had for 8 days! I voiced my computer corn of having to pay this fee, considering the length of time I had the phone as well as the 3 hours I lost of my workday ylto remedy this problem. We had two phones that needed updates and transfers. Then he had Alex help us. Alex was fantastic, so bright and helpful and such a kind person. He spent so much time with us explaining everything.
