A big problem I have always found with the majority of RadioShack locations was lack of knowledge on behalf of the salesperson. They seemed as if they just simply did not know much about their products or have as much knowledge as one would hope in regards to sale items and promotions. Now, I tend to only stop into RadioShack for small items, like batteries, cords, phone cases, and alike. Regarding my most recent visit, I was in and out of the store in about five minutes. I do have to give the sales girl credit for trying to get me to purchase a warranty plan for a $10 auxiliary cord. If you are a RadioShack fan, I recommend this location. Everything appears to run smoothly and the employees seem to have a little more of a clue what they are doing.

There was one person ahead of me, no problem I'll wait. After 40 minutes or so the chap ahead of me wished me luck and left. When it' finally was my turn the staff was wrestling to get some tablet connected so they could lookup my order. Ready, what's the order number? Hmmm we can't seem to find that order, you're going to have to contact Verizon support and get it straightened out. They said this always happens with Verizon. Huh??? Then I realized that they're an independent affiliate. Next day after correcting the Verizon issues with my order (another saga). I returned to the store 1 person on duty with 2 other customers in the store. What are you here for? Pick up a router, okay it's going to be about 45 minutes can you come back at noon? Which oddly was 1&1/2 hours from then, interesting. Needless to say I returned at noon and was in and out in less than 10 minutes yay team! Today I returned to drop off the old router, seems simple enough; here you go, here's the order number print a receipt and bye-bye. Not in this establishment, keep in mind that I'm a bit on tilt as of this moment. Walk in 2 staff members, one with customer's one on a meeting / call via a tablet not sure but this sounded like an internal call. Nonetheless the only people who looked at me and acknowledged my presence were the other customers, nice couple. They both smiled and nodded my way. The staff members however seemed annoyed and looked at each other as if to say "not it". The one in the tablet meeting eventually asked why I was there (same rep as the day before) router return, she nodded. Then the phone rang she sprang from the chair and proceeded to expound to the caller for 10 minutes about all of the current promotions and latest plans, all the while the individual on the other end of the meeting on the tablet kept asking, hello, are you still there, hello. Finally I was asked for my information to process the return, then after 40 minutes I was on my way. Straight to the nearest bar, good grief I'm not sure how much time I have left on this planet. Thank god because our Sprint service was terrible!! Chris Fazah, the assistant manager who took care of us, was so professional and knowledgeable. He made the whole process painless!! Verizon even paid out what we owed to sprint to ditch them too! No joke! My husband and I have excellent service now and we can actually call each other without our phones kicking to VM! We couldn't be happier with our decision to switch. We would recommend this verizon store to anyone! If YOU are thinking about switching your phone service to Verizon heres what u need to know: 1. Bring your account # and password from your existing carrier 2. Know how much data you use every month so u dont buy to much with your new package (we use 1.5-2GB a month). Talk and text is unlimited with verizon so no need to worry there. 3. You will most likely need to purchase a new phone with verizon and not be able to keep ur old phone. The payment for your new phone is incorporated into your monthly service payment. I got the iphone 6s (30 bucks a month) and my husband got the samsung galaxy 6s (24 bucks a month). If you still owe $ on your old phone no worries, remember, verizon pays that off for you! 4. You will have to open your wallet the day you switch. You will need to pay the sales tax on your new phones, and of course that depends on how much your phones cost. Remember, getting a new phone might also require new accessories (think case, charger, protector). Our new combined monthly verizon bill payment is now: $162 (this includes the monthly installment payment on our 2 new phones, service fees, and $22 of this insures both phones).

Made a comment on the phone being "economy" as if it was less than. The staff also seemed completely unprepared to answer basic questions about the phones and plans. It was if they didn't know their ass from their elbow. There was also loud music playing in the store, as if it was a club. I recommend going elsewhere.
