The store manager is a dishonest fat little prick. Short version. I bought a new phone. They didn't have it in stock... no issue. They shipped it to me and got it set up myself. He never told me I had 30 days to return it. So I returned it on day 35. Instead of the 800 I was supposed to receive he offered 135. I told him "cool more att shenanigans". They do not answer the phones at all If you walk in for service, there are 3 employees from other islands. 1 Manager from Big Island all the employees quit. there lazy, rude, tell you stupid things they are un-educated they don't want to work so the just piss you off to get rid of you. they closed down the store on week-ends and when they feel like it. save yourself the trouble of going in there its a bad experience because their so rude. read more

Went to AT&T store today located in Lihue, Kauai. Tried to exchange a charger cable I bought 2 1/2 weeks ago. Product in the box was different than what the picture on box was. I showed the associate the different item in box. She said yeah it's different. She talked to the manager. Manager came up to me and said " We have a policy that you can only return item in 2 weeks after that we can't exchange it." I told him it's not my fault the product in the box is different then whats shown on the picture. So now I'm stuck with something I can't even use. Wasted $30.00. Then he said. You can buy an adapter for $25.00. What a fricken rip off!!!! $50.00 for a charger WOW!!!! Think I'm going to switch to some other cellphone provider. Managers name is Bryson. read more

We had some questions and received good answers to all of them, with extra insight and information that helped us decide on the options that best fit our needs. I am very disappointed in this store. My father is older and he does not understand going about opening up a new line. He went to upgrade his phone and he was taken advantage of when he brought 2 paid phones in. He only was credited for one and the other one was essentially taken away and unretrievable the NEXT day after he called to get it back upon realizing he was not given anything for it. read more

The manager (Bryson) at the AT&T store in Lihue, Hawaii is rude, unprofessional and incompetent. He should not be a manager and should NOT be customer facing. Never have I had been treated worse as a paying customer - then to find out he's the MANAGER?! What?! After reading so many bad reviews on Google and on Yelp about this location, including ones that repeatedly call him out by name, I am shocked he continues to have a job at AT&T. He embodies no aspect of AT&Ts supposed values. Zero. From the start he treated me as if I were an inconvenience to him. I'm absolutely disgusted by his treatment of his customers. I've been a loyal AT&T customer for well over a decade and when I told him I was considering moving to another provider based on how I was treated he said "that sounds like a good option". Today I went to the store with my disabled son to upgrade his phone. Benji is the person who helped us and he was great. I am amazed to see some of the unkind words that other people have written. I have to wonder if perhaps some have been written by competitors. I have been a customer of AT&T Lihue for almost 8 years. I have ALWAYS been treated with courtesy and care for my personal needs. I have never had any staff member try to talk me into purchasing something that goes beyond the wants and needs that I describe to them. As far as service goes, until the lockdown, I worked in Kapaa. A number of my co-workers had Verizon and could never get good coverage. My coverage has always been excellent both in Lihue and Kapaa. I couldn't be happier with both the coverage and the customer service. Kudos to the staff at AT&T Lihue. read more

I don't normally like to stop at wireless carrier's stores unless I'm upgrading a phone or changing a plan but I came here with my mom when she wanted to look for a screen protector for the new iPad Mini that was just recently released. I have to say that I was impressed that this was one of the few places on the island of Kauai that actually had the screen protectors available to purchase! Upon entering the store, we were greeted fairly quickly by a rep who even held the door open for us. I wasn't the one that was shopping for anything since I already had all I needed but I have to say that the rep that helped us was pleasant to deal with. He was very knowledgeable and open and so was the rest of the staff. Mostly my mom dealt with the rep, but despite that the others in the store asked me at least once if I was being helped which was good. The selection of phones on display are decent too. I like that pretty much every demo unit on display is actually a live unit that can be used. I've been to other places on the island where the demo unit on display is literally a dummy shell which doesn't help if you're shopping around for anything and want to see how the device works. In addition to the phones the selection of accompanying accessories was overall great. Considering they had iPad Mini screen protectors which I couldn't even find at the Apple Store here on Oahu, that's pretty amazing! Kudos to the reps for being pleasant and knowledgeable too. All in all, if I really needed to get a specific accessory or happened to be on Kauai when the latest & greatest device to be sold by AT&T was released, I wouldn't hesitate to come here. I'm glad to see that the service at this location, despite being on a neighbor island isn't sub-par. read more

Kai Is Amazing!!! I've been an At&t customer for 36 years now. I live on a small Hawaiian island. We only have one At&t store on our island. I don't think that I've been in the store in over 36 years. The 1st time we bought our 1st phones. I do all of my help or buying either online or on the phone. Over the years we had up to five family members on my plan. And At&t has been right there to help me out all along the way. In Feb I bought a new cell phone and 2 watches. I've been having trouble with so many issues with so many hours of time on the phone trying to correct everything. One day I was passing by my At&t store and decided to try at my store? An Angel Named Kai Came to help me and within minutes she was able to tell what was happening and how to fix it. She was the perfect mix between personal and professional. Concise and very easy to understand! I Can't thank you enough for having such an amazing associate to help me with my months of time and effort to unravel my debacle! The billing cycle is straight scamming. This company is the best example of corporate greed with a side of price gouging. They keep screwing up my cell phone service and bill. Today I received a $149.76 email bill receipt for someone else's phone number. I called and have spent over two hours on my honeymoon in Hawaii trying to have the charges reversed. I'm still on hold. I will probably have to cancel this card and wait for a new card to be sent to me Here and then arrange for all of my auto bills to be changed to a new card number. Very aggravated. I had 3 different recent experiences with the Lihue AT&T and let me tell you about them. First one, I went in to inquire about (not buy) the iPhone 6 when it first came out because eventually I wanted to use my upgrade and get one. Before I could even ask my question, the sales person just looked at me like I was dumb and bothering him. He told me that they've sold out, so why am I even asking? I told him that I wasn't there to buy one, I just wanted to ask some questions about it. He said to come back when they have some in stock. So then I asked him when is the next shipment. He replied, "No clue." I left the store so irritated! Second experience was much nicer. I had this other sales person help me and she was really professional and friendly. She upgraded my account and sold me the iPhone 6+ 16gb in a snap. I also wanted to get the 6+ 64gb for my wife, but they were out of stock. She told me that there more coming in and encouraged me to call back and see if the shipment arrived, then she could help me with that purchase. I left the store satisfied. And finally, my Third experience was on the phone tonight, inquiring if the Lihue Store had received the 6+ 64gb yet. The person on the phone just said, "Nope!". Then silence... So I then asked if they were getting in more shipments or when the next one was supposed to arrive. She said, "Yeah...I have no clue!", then hung up... This AT&T store is a mixed bag. Sometimes you get good service and sometimes you get terrible service. When you go in, it's like rolling the dice. And based on the other experiences I had with them before these 3 different experiences, the odds are terrible! read more

I have come to regret ever signing a two year contract with these fools let alone this company ! The workers at at&t will get you to keep paying a arm and a leg for a phone that others Mobile providers could do and will do for a fraction of the cost ! I was shocked that he could find my name for the appointment I set the day before as I proceed on trying to pull up my account with the CSR I seemed to be bothered and told me to call a number and that's all he could do ! I stay there and I told him I want to get it paid today After 25mins he get me of the phone to talk to some at&t representative ! And hurries to leave me clueless as I try to pay my bill I hang up with the representatives after he talked me and tells me I can pay in the store !! Still at&t and it's Lihue staff still can't pull up my account !!! Now I'm pissed taking about a hour to pay a 330$ phone bill with complete idiots! I was in earlier to day and it was a bit busy. I had a problem with my iPhone that it did not have any service for calling and receiving calls. The girl that helped me was not as knowledgeable on the problem I had. She basically told me my phone needed to be fixed and told me where to go. Or just buy another phone. After I talked to her I felt like she wanted me to buy instead of helping. I went home and went on line to find a better solution than spending more money. I found the solution to my problem online. Better to go online than go in to a store that wants you to buy another phone. In my experience and what I know since I have worked in the same type of business. I had an awful experience. READ YOUR CONTRACT!!! The AT&T store on Kauai HI is just horrible, some sales associates are dishonest and lie to generate more sales without telling you the hidden fees. The store manager is even worse, maybe being deceitful is part of his employee training. When my mom purchased a iPhone 7 last year, they encourage her to sign a 2-year installment, so she did. The sales representative also told my mom that she can get an iPad for only $100. He didn't mention that there's a $12.51 monthly charge for 2 year at all. When my mom went back to the store, she was told that she already signed the contract so they can't do anything. The store manager kept saying that there's a miscommunication and refused to file a complaint against that employee. He even questioned me why waited 7 months to complain, if this was done within 2 months he could possibly do something. In the end I had to call customer service in the mainland to cancel the monthly charge and have partial refund. read more

i recently switched to AT&T from verizon. i was helped by rashell when i originally went in. she was friendly, and made sure all my questions about porting over my existing phone numbers was a breeze. she also helped me pre-order the much anticipated iPhone 6 plus. today, on launch day for the iPhone 6/6plus, whitney assisted me and made everything smooth and easy for me. after waiting 12 hours for this phone, i was so appreciative for the help i received. i am so glad i made the switch, not just because the staff here is great, but i know i will be saving some $$ on my monthly bill. thanks, AT&T for welcoming me! read more
